  1. I'm pretty sure there are some more skins that need some re-work done, but I'm really frustrated with the gold skin so I'll use this now as showcase. The gold skin looks great on some weapons where it's more sophisticated, but on many other, it's kind of a lackluster. here are some examples of a well made gold skin: as you can see, parts like the barrel, handgrip / magazine and buttstock are gunmetal black / grey (or wooden, if it fits well). this skin looks just awesome like that. now, here are some weapons that look kinda bad with the gold skin, because they have way too many parts turned into gold: let's take the misery for example.. I've used my 10 year MS-paint experience to make this, and it looks a lot better now, right? LUL well, you get my point, some skins / skin + weapon combinations need more love.
  2. Wait, what's different? I've been using it and didn't find any issue with it.. maybe i'm just dumb Anubis got fixed (it has the HVR crosshair penalty patched on it ages ago), and buffed + an alternative crosshair with the latest weapon changes, but that got reversed again (most likely accidentally). it still has it's new crosshair but it got the old stats with the super wide and slow crosshair and slower fire rate. I've PM'd lixil about it and she said it's not possible anymore to throw in anything else for the patch tomorrow, so we'll probably have to wait another week for the anubis fix.

  5. that's not what 2FA is for... it's to pretect your account by sending a code either to your smartphone or email to confirm the login. it has nothing to do with trading, only account protection.

  8. actually the original OCA had no downside with CJ3, imo that's fine as is honestly, it was dumb to add such a downside in the first place. every mod has a downside (or atleast should have)... you get higher TTK, but lose accuracy over time, how's that dumb? it's called balancing.
  9. I hope this will still be considered, a bit late but meh. so, how far away are we from account merging actually? and what about making most if not all things account wide from armas? I've got many packs, cars / bodykits, clothes and weapons that are not account wide, and buying the same pack for multiple charakters is not a smart thing to do.

I'd be fine if it would be an N-TEC 7 reskin) S1-NA 'Manic' (Slightly nerf firerate or accuracy, this gun is insane) S1-TIC 'Rabid' (slightly increase accuracy) EOL (grenadelauncher) (remove windup) FFA 'Bullshark' (make it be a 4 shot burst rifle like it was before, the burst build-up is weird) Obeya CR762 (Slightly reduced fire rate or slightly faster increasing bloom) AMG-556 'Medusa' (maybe revert the mod, so it becomes a burst fire LMG and bad at suppressive fire - would make sense with the scope) CAP-40 'Sergeant' / +NFCP2 (Open up third mod-slot) Mountie (Slightly less recoil, or slightly better accuracy) VAS-C2 (less max bloom) ACES SMG + Rifle (slightly bigger magazine or less max bloom) Norseman (more accuracy, it's 0.79 TTK would be OK if it could hit more precise down range than other SMGs) DMR + AV (Slight fire rate increase + accuracy recovery to make up for the increase, and remove the 88m 2 shot, doesn't make any sense and gets OP on some spots) Euryale (it's pretty much a stright upgrade to the shaw. nerf accuracy or recoil) SAS PDW (slightly increased fire rate) N-FA 9 (slightly more accuracy) OPGL, OSMAW, AAEPD (slightly reduced explosion radius) Low Yield Grenades (-1 grenade) Stun Grenades (slightly reduced stamina damage, right now it's a 1 hit) PIG (slightly reduced stamina damage, it stuns you even though you've just been sneezed on) Stabba NL9 (slightly improved stamina damage, so after 2 hits the target can't sprint) Stunning overall: allow every weapon to trigger a stun. (for people who didn't know: only a few weapons like the nano for example are able to actually trigger a stun, many weapons can't trigger a stun even when the stamina max is reached.) also, many weapons need re-modding. not only because of the improved rifling changes, but weapons like the OCA NANO 'Chrome' for example has mobility sling modded, which is a really bad choice. *cough* ALIG 'Surefire' *cough* I may have left out some weapons, either because I don't feel like they need a change or I simply forgot them, sorry. I might edit this at some point, so don't take it too serious if you're upset with my suggestion, I may change my mind. In the end it's going through Beastie's hands, then provided to the community for testing and with enogh feedback things will turn out quite good, don't panic. I hope @LO_Beastie will consider this.

  12. you know what would help out a lot of newer players, and also many veterans? having the weapon stats ingame... instead of these broken bars, implement text like on the APBDB. because with these changes, for example, you can't just say "every AR has 50m range" anymore... would be cool to have all the stats ingame, instead of having to go to an external website that sometimes isn't updated. regarding the ntec: as others pointed out before: test A seems fine, but use the jump modifier of test B on it. also, CSG felt quite bad now, compared to the JG.. maybe make the CSG firerate the same as JG, or buff the pellet count for 2 shots (15 instead of 16)? I'm confused about the COBR-A here... did it always have 50m range? I thought since it's more of an automated version of the carbine / huntress with great hipfire accuracy, it had 40m range... the APBDB says it's 50m though... so what's fact here? someone help me out, thanks looking forward to further buffs for underpowered weapons! edit: forgot to mention other shotguns... NFAS, shredder and DOW Thumper are still too forgiving, therefore kinda OP compared to what's coming for CSG and JG. they also need their 3 shot pellet count increased (so you have to hit more pellets in order to kill). but be carfeul with that, we don't wanna drift back into uselessness with these guns. for the nfas I'd recommend slightly increasing the 3 shot pellet count, other than that it's fine. same goes for the DOW Thumper, but increase magazine size +1. shredder could have it's 3 shot pellet count increased quite a bit, but make it shoot slightly faster again (not as fast as you did before though). I'd also reduce shredder range to 15m, so IR3 can still get good shots up to ~25-30m. this also promotes using CJ3, as it increases spread but also firerate, with the initial fire rate slightly increased and also the pellet count changed it would be a nice choice for closer combat, and not "shotgun sniping".
  13. it already got a firerate buff with the latest rework. it's TTK is 1.47 now, which is pretty good for a sniper. (oblivion is on 1.42, barely a difference, and scout is on 1.75)
  14. anubis is back to it's pre-weapon rebalance state... please fix this with the next patch, I really enjoy the fixed + buffed anubis.

  16. umm, sounds good but, please elaborate... since overall server performance (and low tickrate) also plagues the game... how does one reproduce "the hitreg issue"? is it like a certain thing that can be reproduced? also, what about the de-syncing when getting out of a fast moving car that happens like 8/10 times? (it hasn't been always broken, at some point RP f'd that up)

  18. "revert balance changes"... some people just say "revert everything" even though many things got better... the only problem with the changes are shotguns, they should be reversed.... I'm fine with everything else - except for IR3, I agree it needed an actual downside, but this firerate decrease is too high - make it 3% - 6% - 9%, not 6% - 12% - 18%. I get the concept of reducing firerate for ARs, but it put a hold on some other guns like the curse for example... it has the accuracy to deal above 30m, so IR was a nice mod choice - not anymore. but yea other than that, I'm happy with the buffs for some of the underpowered weapons, fixes to yukon and crippling the HVR in close range. looking forward to a solution to the shotgun problem (aka reverting and only buffing some of them individually, like DOW or shredder for example) and other underperforming weapons getting buffed. (snubnose next please LUL)

  21. I like the open PVP aswell... it's just like the chaos district back then... jump right into action. I'd actually prefer if they'd use the chaos district for this... it had some bases set up and also you were able to actually earn money... right now you'd have to do missions for that which is kinda dumb though because of the open PVP. the shotgun changes need to be reverted IMO, other than that they've done a good job with APB so far... friendlist fixed, battleye, buffed numerous underpowered weapons, fixed the yukon and made it so the HVR can't just jump around and hipfire with full damage, which is nice (still there should be other ways to tackle the HVR problem... for example make the crosshair a lot wider and slower, or reduce damage to 750). most of the things LO did to APB were nice so far... just because they fucked up on the shotgun part (which they said they're sorry that they rushed it btw), doesn't mean they're overall bad. they've done and will be doing so much more than RP did for APB in the past 3-4 years, be happy APB is still alive and even getting patches now, you can endure a mistake... you endured years of RP's bullshoot, so deal with it.

    Suddenly crashes?

    well, my game crashed on startup today (right when the login screen loaded up)... it didn't crash while in game though... sometimes, the game doesn't start at all.. the launcher loads, when clicking on start, nothing happens... launcher just closes and APB (or the launcher) is nowhere to be found on the task manager. that only happened twice in the last 3 month or so... only a restart could fix it. but other than that the game didn't crash on me.
  23. Still not a good weapon. Still not giving the sensation of a hit when you hit the target. only because the feedback of hits doesn't feel good, doesn't mean the weapon is bad... it's probably the bad sound syncing and underwhelming sound of the gun. or maybe you just don't feel the recoil to be fitting... but IMO the misery only needs what I stated above - MM movement speed improved and sound fixing. edit: also, the misery needs THIS

  25. this. the misrey (and other guns like ISSR-a) need audio-syncing fixed... audio is de-synced and even plays when you've already stopped shooting. also, the misery could use some more movement speed in marksmanship mode... other than that it's really good now, especially with CJ3... it's actually a really scary gun now with the huge amount of overhead damage... I really don't know what else you people want for the misery, but it'll most likely be OP AF if you add more to it.
