theres no other long range gun that truly competes with the hvr - the dmr after 88m comes the closest, followed by the obeya and obir we can also talk about how the hvr being able to compete with cqc weapons with the use of qs'ing but i would have thought that was rather well known already

this is the same system we still have, its just been hidden behind rank based icons instead also im pretty sure g1 apb has always had districts with threat levels, for a time they were dynamically based on the threat distribution of the players in the district

you realize this is the exact thing that means the hvr is unbalanced right? if the only thing that counters a gun is another of the same gun then theres clearly an issue somewhere

yeah but my point is that it would be used and abused to get easy opp, we have people /reporting for being run over you think they wont use this feature to block "cheaters" or "tryhards" and then if youre a group of 4 high skill players who win a majority of your matches, kiss goodbye ever getting opposition when half the district has been removed from the pool because they have you on ignore

i like derailing it would essentially allow you to choose your opp and potentially artificially inflate your threat, since you could just ignore any players who beat you and only have repeat matches against people you beat

man i wish you werent using the prima donna cover as an avatar lol if the person wants to engage with their inner douche then whats the problem? as long as they arent getting in touch with their outer douche ("heil hitler" in chat or offensive clan names etc) then i see no problem double down now that we have regular GMs visiting the districts to remove those that are tempted by their outer douche

the gun is fully automatic from the hip but afaik it’s not supposed to be quite so fast id guess it’s supposed to be the same rof/ttk that the northwest has
