no reason both cant be done, taking action against dethreaters while fixing the issues that "cause" dethreating in the first place sounds fine to me

as far as im aware the only officially approved file modification is using the advanced launcher, so if you wanna swap them its at your own risk

realistically, since we still have fairfight i dont think it should be that hard to look at a given player's stats and see the discrepancies - unlike players who straddle the gold/silver borderline, dethreating isnt a matter of a bad match or two here and there

mattscott has already said theyre looking into this and the login screen in general, its probably pretty low priority right now
