i’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you aren’t stupid enough to mean all semi automatic rifles, which leaves us with the joker carbine and oscar (the huntress is an outlier, again) both of which have less range, less accuracy, and a higher ttk than most assault rifles to make up for the increased mobility the whole point of the carbine and oscar is to excel at the end of SMG range and the start of AR range while the whole point of apb is to manuever into the optimal range of your own weapon, maybe try playing correctly maybe you should check out the circus, your “amazing human anticheat” act isn’t fooling anyone around here

iirc theres a warning box that the name might remain unavailable for x time even after deleting the character, but in my experience once you delete the character the name becomes free again

the only way i know of currently is to make a new character and try to use the name obviously only works if you have a spare character slot

idk right from the start the ttk change sticks out the most - whether it was good or not is up for debate, but g1 made the change on their own and completely ignored the community at the time, even going as far as to remove forum polls because they showed pretty overwhelmingly negative views on the shorter ttk while the recent weapon balance pass was nowhere near as fundamentally game changing, orbit did seem pretty open to feedback from the community

the main benefit of the ar weapon class is the ability to work around whatever range your opponent's gun has, you'd likely have more success if you used your ar correctly technically incorrect since you mentioned the ntec, it has a rof of .14s joker carbine is .15s obeya cr762 is .21s obir is .45s oscar is .17s the lone exception is the vbr huntress with a rof of .13s this would be a huge buff for any semi automatic weapon, are you mental?

semi automatic weapons (like every single other weapon) have a minimum ttk semi automatic weapons are balanced around that minimum ttk scroll wheeling does not and cannot bypass that minimum ttk scroll wheeling does not unbalance the game

LMGs aren’t widely seen because, while very effective when used correctly, it takes a lot of effort to do so the ntec on the other hand has the opposite “problem” of being popular because it’s very easy to use (although being 1/2 of f2p ar options is also a factor imo) just because a gun is easy to use doesn’t mean it’s overpowered, nor does being difficult to use mean a gun is underpowered obviously there are exceptions to each side (old yukon, norseman series)
