  1. Welcome! I mean. . . to be fair. . . you basically have a 100% chance of being able to get an FFA III if you want one, just trade / buy one, it's not that hard. Caisey, sure, if they make it a significantly different mesh that's fine, but otherwise it's kinda' dumb. As to you Cooky, that's the opposite of the way it should be TBH, people should be able to get an FFA III stats-wise without putting in much effort, and the model should be the rare thing.
  2. The original purpose of GM, Power, and GM Power JMBs was not for them to be for sale, it was as a special promotional thing. Putting them up for sale was just a mistake RP made when they were desperate for cash. So it's not really a bad idea to have new GM boxes and power boxes. It doesn't need to be obtainable for more people, that defeats the purpose, lol. Just use an OBIR, it'll get the job done just as well.
  3. Long story short, there are two Joker Mystery Boxes, the Power Joker Mystery Box 9 and Tiggs' Power Joker Mystery Box, that can give a legendary called the FFA 5.56 R&D III, which is considered the rarest and most desirable legendary in the game (in reality, there might be fewer OCSP Jokers, but I'm not sure of that.) However, the FFA III is essentially just an OBIR with 5 degrees more Field of View in Marksmanship Mode, so it's really not essential to the game for them to be in circulation: the gun is primarily a "status" symbol.
  4. I mean. . . yeah, try running both and then see if people still play FC, lol.
  5. But the fact that it's shit makes it better.
  6. Well that's kinda' a harsh restriction. . .
  7. Agreed, haven't finished it yet but great book.
  8. Okay, that's great to hear, thanks! Thank you Based MattScott, that's nice to hear. I've been wanting the Anubis fixed for literally years. As long as the gun performs well I can ultimately deal with whatever crosshairs.
  9. Ugh. . . I'm really not a fan of rotations, but if you say so. Sorry, I wasn't clear because this is the third time I've asked this question, my bad. Specifically I'm asking if you're looking into the changes that Reloaded made to the console / 3.5 version of the map, because a lot of them are questionable at best. For example, they added a lot of telephone/power poles that are hideous and block a lot of things, (including at least one placed directly in front of a car spawn,) as well as a lot of bushes that will flip cars easily in really dumb places. *EDIT* I realized that first sentence might have sounded passive aggressive, it wasn't intended to be though. As someone who mained the Anubis for a while, as far as the Anubis goes, can you first just fix the accidental nerf that was applied to it? The crosshair isn't the main issue, in fact, there are people out there like me who like the crosshair. Thread on the old forums explaining how Reloaded accidentally broke the Anubis: https://forums-old.gamersfirst.com/topic/403269-you-never-fixed-the-anubis/ TL;DR: they accidentally applied a nerf that was intended for the N-HVR 7.62 to the Anubis, acknowledged that they did that, and then refused to fully revert it, and as such the Anubis no longer zooms in almost as fast as a semi-auto rifle, entirely removing its niche as the most mobile sniper rifle. Also, somehow the gun has worse hitreg than before, but who knows what's with that. Also, I know you know this, but be very careful, 'cause a lot of the less used weapons are not as underpowered as people might think, and some of them are even borderline OP. P.S. as far as crosshairs go, is there a chance we will get options for guns with unique crosshairs? E.G. I personally like the current Anubis sight, (albeit I liked it more before they made the red dot more transparent,) so would it be possible to add options to use a legacy or updated crosshair? And maybe even just turn off the custom crosshair and use a normal one? I know especially being able to just use the normal crosshair would be appreciated with the Ursus and Stryfe as well. Thanks for keeping us updated though.
  10. First, uhh, what are you removing from ARMAS and why? A lot of the community is still upset about some of the stuff removed from ARMAS last time around. Please tell me you're not removing anything besides useless presets, (E.G. the ALIG Surefire, which is just a bad selection of mods on a normal ALIG, or the PMG-SD 'Murmur',) because Reloaded removed a lot of items off of ARMAS that were, in fact, unique weapons that had totally legitimate uses (E.G. the STAR LCR, OCA-EW 626.2-SD 'Silverado', SNR PR1.) In fact, is there any chance you could bring back some of these items, and put the LCR Old Glory on ARMAS permanently? Second, are you considering reverting any of the changes Reloaded made to the maps? Because a lot of them make the game way less playable (poor visual choices aside.) Third, how major is this weapon balance patch going to be? Please tell me it's just major issues and not an in-depth pass over weapon balance. Major weapon balance should definitely be held off until 3.5. Fingers crossed this all turns out well, but IDK.

    Happy Birthday SKay! :D

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKAY!
  12. Every non-legendary already has a trial option though, and most can be bought on the Joker store, and legendaries are mostly slightly modified normal guns anyhoo.
  13. I'm speaking from experience from the last time this was tested. It doesn't have to do with carrying multiple primaries at once, it has to do with the fact that virtually all the time someone in the mission will have a gun optimal for the range of the current objective that you can take instead of swapping weapons, which in my opinion cheapens the tactical decisions around making and using your loadout and team composition. I believe this is especially advantageous to defense, which is an issue in of itself because defense is already better than offense. Say, for example, you're guarding a dropoff point in the Yoido Complex (Just South of Gaijin) and you've got a ALIG out 'cause the last stage involved cars, but your teammate's got an OCA and he kills some enemy that's got an ATAC. Bam, now you've got a close-quarters weapon with zero effort or tactical decisions: no risk of being hit while resupplying or need to communicate with your teammate to cover you, no repercussions for equipping an AV weapon, and let's face it, most of the time you succeed on a defense stage you live through almost the whole stage, so the fact that you lose the gun when you die isn't an issue. How does this make the game more skilled? It doesn't, it just makes it so you need to think less about your loadout, and less about managing ammo, and it's already an issue that managing ammo is so easy now. In my opinion this goes far too far into the world of things you simply cannot know, especially in PUGs, which is the percentage of all missions, and turning complex aspects of a game into aspects that are out of your control removes huge amounts of skill.
  14. How about we don't cheapen the tactics of the game by allowing you to easily almost always have an optimal weapon for every stage without thinking about it, while simultaneously destroying the skill of being aware of your enemy's loadout and thus try to out-smart him and predict what he's doing.
  15. Granted, but you need to give me a hug every day or the animals get mad. I wish that Pancake loved me.
  16. Wide screen monitors? gees, I think using a monitor at all is an unfair advantage! I can't afford a monitor and I just have to play by sound, so so should everyone else!
  17. I think it's pretty good so far, clean up the writing and fill in some more and it'll be a good story I think.
  18. Awesome, thanks for reposting! If you could add spoilers that'd be awesome.
  19. XD Thanks, for what it's worth I think it's a fun story.
  20. I love your story: it does a really cool job of describing a character's backstory and transformation in such a short piece. Thanks so much for reposting and even rewriting your story! As a minor note though, I would like to note that you accidentally wrote "Gretsy" instead of "Gresty," unless Gretsy is supposed to be a different place from Gresty.
  21. Thanks for re-posting your story from the old thread! I remember liking it a lot, and I'mma re-read it, but it's like 4 thousand words, so it might take me a bit! XD
