If you have a restaurant in which is only half full of Mafia. You get those Mafia arrested and removed, it will empty the restaurant for a short amount of time, until you see a new customers who feel safe to come back again and again. Its done in business all the time.

You hit the nail on the head, drive new customers and hold onto existing.

That seems the be the stance for the last 5 years and we lost half the player base...... But we lost the players who dont grief, who just got fed up.

The Mods were on last night and 3 of the normal griefers were on at the same time. It was just embarrassing how they start acting when the mods come on. They act like pillars of the community and that they are best friends with the mod. The mod leaves and it kicks off. Instant AFKs, racist rants, homophobic rants. Runing missions. Running up to the enemy and squatting in front of them to be shot.

I think its a great idea. Players have cheated and grieffed for years, made a lot of money off our backs to buy better weapons. Got banned and then got their accounts and weapons and money back. Players who have been good, nothing...

that is hardly an issue in game yet it seems that GMs act quicker on these guys then on the other players trying to block their team from winning.

Really it sounds like they are making the game from scratch which is a very big undertaking, considering the game itself bankrupted the original makers.

I joined Jericho myself. The community seems pretty cool, there were the couple of loud mouths, but nothing bad. All in all it was pretty chilled and nobody wants to have sex with my mother. She is very popular in Eastern Europe it seems.

Like cheating there are going to be some dethreating here and there. But there are also the blatants. Within minutes of getting online you come across them. They will do missions without guns attached, and joke about it in chat. Once they get to their desired colour, they will then re-join with their friends for some stompings. To be getting away with it for weeks on end is a little much.

I understand the posters frustrations, you only need to log in for 30 minutes every day and see the same people griefing, blocking missions or screwing over their own team. Then joining their friends to steamroll the server. You really don't have to look hard. If i can see it as a customer means that mods can see it and choose to do nothing about it.

no, everyone is suffering because of pre-made groups that have been slowly bleeding the population to the point that we are in now. Have Clan Wars servers so clans can face clans. Normal servers should be computer made teams. You can then drop rank, it will cut out dethreating and cultivate new players. It wont be a popular decision because a majority of the experienced players only want to stomp newbies. Also by posting the sarcastic "Great Idea" you are trying to Demean Potatogirls character.

I wouldnt say its not caring. But i do have a legit fear that its being purposely let happen. I'm sure i am not the only one.

You don't have to remove that ability, but you can have a clan wars district.

Why not matchmaking ? Simply put, you have have 12 people 6 of them are professional footballers and 6 of them are your everyday person. You are going to have a football match. The 6 professional footballers will only play on the same team. What will matchmaking do ? Nothing. You dont see how teaming experienced players with new players will help ? Society is built on that principal.
