I was so surprised when I returned to this game with so little /pop to find this many cheaters still cheating. I was thinking even cheaters would get bored but boy did I misunderstood their love and dedication for this game ..

Client performance was anything but same. Game ran on my old PC at 99.9-100 fps in 2011-mid 2012. And Phenom II X4 955 3.2 Ghz 4 GB DDR3 1600 MHz Ram Radeon HD6870. Over the years I've upgraded to 8 GB ram and Nvidia GTX960. Upgrading the GPU did zero to framerate only ram helped as it became unplayable with 4 GB. I tried playing on that PC about two months ago and my fps was 70-50 on average with horrible drops to 35-40 in gunfights. Unplayable. Even in empty districts with no players it does not hold a steady 100 fps that it used to hold back in 2011 in full districts and jumps between 80-90 I believe. Many people quit to to their PCs suddenly being unable to run the game at an enjoyable framerate, quite a few of my friends too for the same reason. Even checked a few vids from old apb clan PSYCH and they left a comment that they would start filming again once devs would fix performance so it would run like in the old days. That comment was from 2013 My friend got a beast PC with latest ryzens n stuff and even on his PC the game drops from 144 to 80 quite often. I'm now playing with a laptop from maybe 2018 with i7-7700 HQ 1050 Ti and 16 gb and SSD and the game does not understand if it wants to run at 90 or 42 fps. Averaging at 70 with drops to 50-something when there are many players around. Can't compete with 144 fps tryhards running PS1 graphic configs coupled with 4:3 resolution on a 16:9 monitor that makes the game look like quake 2 lol Servers where always crap tho. Still remember the "overkill servers" meme

My man confusing Colby RSA with Colby .45 ap again Honestly though 99% of golds are now using it indicating that something is wrong. Either the gun is too good or other guns are simply not good enough. Usually it's nr. 1. Remember when all golds used to main Nano, Trouble Maker, Yukon at different times in APB's history? All overly popular guns get fixed eventually. Look at what happened to N-Kek because it was "being used more often than we would like it to be" or something along the lines.

Colby .45 ap is a paid only weapon unless you grind joke tickets to get one (real life M1911) It's the one that 99% of gold's tryhard with so I imagine it will get some sort of fix in the future as with all overly popular guns. You can get a free trial of it from armas and joker shop to try out yourself. Regarding cops vs crim opposition in my experience it's opposite - more new players start out as crim because "lul GTA crimezzz thug life" so as a cop I would more often get low rank silvers as opponents. Regarding trading only "legendary" lootbox guns are tradeable so your friend needs to have some of those if he wants to sell/lend you them.

Don't forget the performance issues. 2011-2012 apb used to run like a dream on my old PC. Now it's unplayable so I'm using laptop

Yes, every patch since 2011 decreasing performance to the point where PCs that used to run the game fine can no longer run it and no fixes is entirely player's fault. Unbanning all hackers banned by punkbuster and giving them free premium is player's fault. Unbanning all hackers banned by fairfight is all player's fault. Incompetent matchmaking thinking 1 gold and 3 silvers vs 4 golds is fair also player's fault. No new content since like 2015 is player's fault. Engine upgrade not coming since Q1 2014 is entirely player's fault. Thousands of people lurking online checking for any news regarding this game waiting to return when some of the issues above have been resolved. Low quality bait mate try again.

Did not play the game for many years but it never left my mind. There is nothing like it. Sure cars drive better in GTA 5 but gunplay is joke there pretty much hold left mouse with any gun at head area and hope for a headshot. Upon looking at population numbers for the last few months I've decided to now it's time to play the game while I can and there are still a few populated districts (eu). Regardless of the game's state if I don't play now I might not get a chance to do so in the future and I know I would regret it.

Haven't played properly since 2014-ish, been doing somewhat poorly now, especially coupled with unstable fps I have.Came back a couple of weeks ago myself to play while I still have a chance to do so. Tried scout for old times sake that I used to enjoy and been doing quite poorly missing shots left and right so decided to shelve it for now. Then I started noticing I'm missing aimed shots with other guns like obeya rifle too although missed shots can be followed up quickly. Tried scout again and started paying more attention to my shots. Fair enough I miss quite a few but then there's shots where I perfectly aim and click on where enemy on my screen is and i still get a miss. Sometimes if I pay attention I notice blood splatter and no hitmarker. Sometimes nothing at all. Then other times I fail to track my enemy properly and click in front or behind him and get a hit there. Idk, don't remember hits being so inconsistent in the past... Super frustrating to get a miss on a well aimed shot

From what I understood from 2022 roadmap engine upgrade is cancelled lol. We'll get console version instead and they'll add on top whatever they managed to get working from failed engine upgrade. Can't say I didn't see this coming from g1, LO gave me hope but alas Icarus reached too high and wax from his wings melted...

If that's the case LO needs to start looking for a new CM because the only way someone's coming back from there is in a body bag

I think you meant Scout quick switching as I don't think jump shooting did anything to ttk other than letting you shoot people behind fences. As a scout owner I was happy when quick switching was removed. It's G1 fault for making such unique weapons paid only. I was mainly talking about f2p weapons. N-kek dominating? Melt him with joker carbine or out laser them both with obeya cr. Challenge the obeya with obir. Or scumbag with broken Nhvr (glad for this nerf tbh). Obeya pistol too good - outsprint it with joker rfp. There were viable options. Then they nerfed some weapons - resulted in others dominating the nerfed guns. Solution nerf more. One by one. Untill all are crap. Then add some broken armas guns and nerf them after we sold enough. I'm not saying weapon balance was perfect, there were a few things that needed looking at but it was way better and more dynamic than it is now. I quit myself in 2014-ish mainly due to performance issues that appeared after late 2012 and irregularly logged on for some events and what not here and there. Now I decided to play a bit while I still have the chance to play it as things are not looking good. Right now there are like 3 guns being used and that's it. And probably the solution (if there still will be one) to nerf those 3 guns
