I'm sorry that my video made you feel uncomfortable, I can understand especially the last transition from the golden mall to the final shot is a bit heavy for the eyes. Might add some warning to the description.

I can relate to your opinion. Unless the game will run at least as good as now (which I doubt), I'm going to miss it as well. For me APB is one of those games where I purely want smooth gameplay, neglecting all the visuals. It almost feels like APB is meant to look bad, if that makes any sense. We're used to this.

Honestly, green nametags not always showing up through walls in the main game is a bigger issue. -
Not sure if anything about this video can be called crazy, looking at my usual videos it's probably the one with the least action. There's this neat tool which Tobii created, but most of the other uploaders refused to credit him at all so I'm not sure if it's still available.

I mean nostalgia is nice and all but honestly the design is just really outdated. I'm all for the old theme but please with a contemporary UI. Edit: I was referring to the UI design, excluding the background and its animations (which I find really cool). -
I did feel substantial enhancements in regards to this, you should be able to judge by yourself from the video (try fullscreen 1080p). If anyhing, that will probably be added through dynamic weather which I don't think the game is anywhere close to. Even if rain alone could be implemented, I doubt any of it would look or feel decent at this point (wet streets/objects/items, visibility through rain, raining effect itself, ...).

Thanks! Absolutely, I personally think the nighttime visuals may be one of the best things about it. The new lighting generally enhances the atmosphere a lot in my opinion. The thing is that it's just not what our eyes are expecting considering where we are currently at, with current games starting to look better than reality and with gorgeous UE 4 demo videos that were released 3 years ago. But all that just wouldn't ever have a place in the game imo. I feel APB needs its own kind of traits and its comic-ish look, that's why I like the way it's going to come out. Also who knows for how long it's going to stay at 3.5 and look exactly like this.

that's my favourite way of it. Occasionally I even park my car close to walls deliberately. Actually, I thought cancelling the animation was the quickest way apart from teleporting when there's an npc in the car, so cheers for enlightening me! Love to learn something new in APB since that's become quite rare. However, in a battle I'll probably still prefer the animation cancelling way as the duration of being unable to do anything (due to an animation) is shorter than when entering on the co-driver side.

.. but it takes a huge amount of skill to use or "master" an N-TEC, right? You keep throwing those kind of statements into this thread yet few others agree with you, for a reason. Your comparisons are quite ridiculous (for instance, comparing an AR's recoil to that of hip-fired semi-auto rifles) and I personally think that many of the weapons you listed are more difficult to use or "master" than the N-TEC, in fact the majority of all weapons are at least as challenging to use as the N-TEC. I'd like to see any of you N-TEC mainers who laugh about Carbine/OSCAR/OBIR/... users "master" any of those weapons like you "mastered" your N-TECs.

Absolutely. Even if it's not a 24/7 fightclub hero, many veteran players have tons of JT which they don't really need whereas newer players might be very interested in those.

.45 is great but not as forgiving, those extra shots matter a lot. The Fr0g keeps its ttk to ~10m, and still only takes 6 shots at 20 which is roughly then the same ttk as the obeya pistol, so its still slightly "better" imo. It's just difficult to actually hit every one of those shots at 20m in comparison but still possible. Of course the .45 is not forgiving at all and, compared to the FBW or FR0G, far more difficult to handle. I like a challenge though and I think it's one of the best (if not the best) secondary out there when mastered. As you said it's difficult to actually hit every shot at 20m with a FR0G, which is precisely why I personally prefer the FBW at >10m. It's simply more consistent. In my view the FR0G is effectively an opportunity to get a very good ttk up to 10m with quite little effort.

Not sure if it's too late for suggestions, but how about implementing a feature that allows to trade / pay with Joker Tickets? Could either add it as a payment currency like APB$, or implement tradable JT "packs" of some sort (option to create tradable sacks of 100-500-1000 JT). This would give Joker Tickets some more use, but it might also be risky to make JT tradable. This has already been possible during g1's GM assisted trading, by the way. Opinions?

There should be a JT variant available at the Joker Store, I think it's the Rocket variant (with the silencer). Personally, I have the Kokoe because of its insane equip time. In my view the Fr0gs are better than the FBW <10-12m, and then become worse than it further out. Even though I actually like those pistols, I barely happen to use mine though. I just enjoy the .45 even more.

I'd simply like all cars of other players or every other object moved by them to be transparent/pervious as soon as you're in a mission. Many don't share that opinion though, which I understand.
