I don't get why it is even called a beta. Public beta is usually mean as a smoke test when the game is ready to be released, not half way into development. How many years of betas are there going to be?

At this point - no. There will have to be a rain of new content after it is released for anyone to even care. And if the performance is worse than the current one, there will be even less.

Looks like people hear "overpowered" and are losing their mind. Lets be real here. Is there even a reason to use anything else other than Clotting Agent? If one skill is way more useful than others of the same type, how is that called?

Even if we ignore the FPS lag the beta has bunch of other issues. Inconsistent lighting, things in the distance popping out out of nowhere I like the change in the geometry and the new water but the new positive changes aren't really that many to make a good difference.

Damn. And I just thought there was another merge on live while I was gone. I really needed a free name change.

I am fine with it but idk if it is even worth a disk space for the less than 200 ppl playing. Wait for the engine update and we will see how is your potato running it. And then it drops to 10 when someone starts shooting, right? Idk. They have even Sonic Mania there.

How to miss the point completely. You have a game that not many people play and then you put accessibility restriction without having a good reason for it. May as well just shut the game down when we are on it.

It is not like it is a brand new game either and the graphics still looks like even with the update. I haven't even seen a modern game that requires this AVX thing so why even use it especially when knowing the playerbase consist mostly veterans? I am totally going to buy a new PC just to be able to play APB with 20 fps. On the bright side, I don't think it is coming officially anytime soon anyway. Not this year for sure. What weird times we live in. From waiting for engine update to not wanting it at all.

Do you offer refunds once when the new engine comes out? If this is what I was waiting for the past years, I am better without it.

For the time that it will take to have the new engine out, it will be too late to release any meaningful content. They won't have the playerbase, the money and the time to release anything big anytime soon after that. Just imagine how much more stuff they could have done for all these years even if it was way harder to implement in the game.

You can change them but you will be the only one who will be able to hear those changes. Everyone else will hear them in the way they are in their own game folder.

That is why it isn't going to happen. if you have bought a theme it may sounds very different. You can find the sounds in the game folder. They aren't even encrypted. The pattern is usually just taken from midis and recreated. You still have to choose which sounds to use to make it sound close enough.

The sounds themselves are already better quality than mp3 The limitation comes from the number of sounds and channels that you can use when creating a theme and ofc skill to make it sound good. There is also no sound manipulation either other than volume slider.

It may help for NA but not for EU. The server cap is 40/40 so it is not going to make matchmaking any faster. It will only make the match quality worse.

They are already with 512kbps bitrate and above. That is already better quality than most mp3 that you are listening to.

They can be replaced but it won't happen because that will break all themes that people already made. Why keep making me repeat myself?

I can partially understand what the Russians are saying so it really goes down to where you are coming from. At the end of the day, the chat is mostly used for toxicity regardless of language so you probably don't want to read it anyway. On the plus side, Russian text is easier to distinguish so you can easily skip it when see it in chat.

Well, better get used to that because they aren't getting anywhere anytime soon. Maybe they can add more stuff but changing the existing ones will just break every theme ever created.
