There is no guarantee the engine update won't decrease the performance even more. Also they seems to be testing it only in high end machines too. Do we know if those contacts are even made already? If not that would be at least 1 more year just for that.

Imagine LO selling the game too when it doesn't pays off and it becoming someone else's problem.

Since always (not sure about pre reloaded times though) The spread of most weapons is affected by everything you do so your best bet is staying still and camping corners. There is little that you can do mobility wise if you get caught on the open too.

I thought only people who stay long enough bother to buy anything.

I wonder which one will come first: The game's death or the engine update. They did contact in the past without the need of engine update. Also with the current speed, it will be at least a year at minimum for the engine update to come and even if it actually happens it will still has tons of issues.

If something is going to kill this game, that will be its own community and not the lack of interest to the game. Everything these people do (in the forum too) is killing the game. I am losing IQ just by reading the garbage that some people living in their own bubble thinks that is ok. There are some decent people around but not that many unfortunately.

If cheating was so easy to prove, all the cheaters woudl have been banned already. But just because there are good players that doesn't mean there are no cheaters.

You are very naive if you believe the game is free of cheaters right now. The more I play, the more I see them. It is usually this one guy solo killing the entire team in the moment they get in his view. Some cheaters don't even hide but have it induced in the name of their new account. Btw I haven't seen a single cheater in Paladins.

I find it pointless reporting anyone for anything other than cheating and even that probably does nothing too if eac has no way of detecting it. tl:dr reporting is pretty pointless to begin with.

Both oca and pmg had around the same efficiency. I remember it being just a matter of preference back then.

The issue now is that when new players gets to play the game, they get forced to give up on it right away which results lack of players and bad matchmaking forever.

Yes, I am aware of this. That is what actually seals it as a meta weapon. He asked what weapon woudl work for him. My answer to that is: use whatever makes you efficient and what you are comfortable playing with. Note that I didn't even mention ntec in my first post.

Its "niche" is pretty much 80% of the time right now. The other 20% goes to shotguns and pmg.

My point is that is less of a necessity nowadays considering as you said you can just cheese your way. I don't even remember the last time I needed to use a sniper for example. Sure, I can pick one for the sake of practicing but there is no real urge to be like "oh this situation requires sniper so i need to switch to one".

Why woudl anyone do that in an ntec meta? Once upon a time there was indeed a need to switch but right now, it doesn't seems so.
