  6. As long as I remain within the Forum Rules and the TOS, I don't think anyone cares. If you really have an issue with my behavior, I highly recommend you to take that up with @Sakebee , so that they can remove me if that is indeed the appropriate action.
  7. And how exactly should I be acting? I'm a player/forum user just like anyone else. I don't remember seeing anywhere in the documentation that I'm supposed to be nice and friendly at all times. Please do let me know if you have other documentation that I missed.
  8. I'm just getting tired of having to explain this over and over every other week for, well since the GPU's released almost. This is from the second Q&A, you can even click the link to hear Matt explain it himself. Does it suck, yes. Are they working to fix it, yes. Can it be fixed in this engine, maybe. Is it worth the time/effort to fully dismantle and remake the game on the current old engine, hell no Are other games running the exact same engine and code, no Could it be that game on a similar engine work fine, sure. Anything else?
  9. How many more times do we need to explain this? The issue is an incompatibility between our old 32 bit engine/game and the newer 64 bit (only) drivers that are being delivered for those GPU's. Lowering the settings as much as possible can reduce the amount of crashes but won't fully fix it. The only full fix is moving the game to 64 bit, which they've been working on since they bought the rights to the game. In other words, not something you can just fix. Gotta wait for the engine
  10. The method in my signature was way more of a band-aid, but they fixed it so you can report them with the gui as well now
  11. You say they're typing in chat, right? Just open the full chat by pressing home, then click on the name/message. That'll put /w <name> in the chat, then just replace the w with report and off you go
  12. What's the reason behind that? Just a personal preference of the minimal look/feel or is it more for the perfomance it seems to give you?
  13. Not open beta yet, only closed so far. Plenty of announcements will happen all over when it goes public open beta. You are getting a 'look behind the curtain', a sneak peek if you will. None of what has been shown so far is fully finished or finalized and many more changes will come. Gotta wait for the full release to see what you will be able to turn off or change.
  14. Not sure which file specifically is causing the issues, but I'm sure you can just do a clean update and then re-add the advanced launcher settings
  15. You're using custom files that are not officially being maintained ... Pretty sure that's on you. Something is added but due to your older/different files it can't load

  17. Did you get the 20.04 windows 10 update? That'll probably be the reason, since it basically shows up as a new system
  18. It can't be fixed without bringing the game to 64 bit ... The newer engine is 64 bit which resolves the issue. It sucks that it's not ready yet, but you will just have to wait it out like everyone else. So they are working on it, it just isn't something they can do on this current engine.

    Cant start APB

    Delete the file, repair the game from the launcher and then try to play, that should fix it
  20. That usually means the file it's trying to replace is in use. Killing all APB processes or restarting the pc (if you're lucky just a few launcher retries) should allow it to fully update

  22. Is that a GDDR6 1650 or the GDDR5 version? The 5 version shouldn't have this issue.

  24. IP change doesn't lead to tradebans, otherwise I'd have gotten them far more often. Support response time is horrendous, but that's a publicly stated thing. The wait times are long, but they're trying to bring them down. It's taking forever though. Going to https://support.gamersfirst.com or just clicking on doesn't seem like that hard of a path to follow.
