 Ah the game is for hackers anyway, so I'm not really out anything I hadn't already lost. 

@Emily then your LO discord is just rules, nobody talks on that, thought it was a false 

discord cuz the first rules are posted by some carl-bot, n I aint buying any emoji. 

We should know the name of your provider so we can give bad reviews and throw dirt on them.

Last message he posted in apb disc, was that He never wanted to go thru this again, n I laughed. 

He don't even play, We the ones who lost out. But then we lost a long time ago.

 Game has been geared for golds since desegregation. 

I mean what did He lose, he had to make a phone call and wait for calls that never came. 

The only solice is that the hackers are out even more than a legit, cuz they paid for hax they can't use, 

By now most players gave up on apb coming back, so if it by some miracle comes back, be very low pop. 

So hax won't have anyone to hack even then, but each other.

Is this an official forum or a troll pen? Where is the information!? I read the news about the game everywhere, but not here! Why do you publish information that you are not sure about? Why are you telling me everything you don't know? We don't know what Friday the game will start, we were deceived, we don't control our own game, we were hoping for someone, but we were just dumped.

This behavior is irritating. You promised to share the news with us. Thank you, you're doing it. But think about what you are writing about and what kind of reaction it will cause!

For some odd reason the only place I can get informations (briefly) is at Little Orbit discord, and I completely agree with you. The lack of updates at the official website forum is where you as a typical player start search for information. Maybe time changed for a lot and not me? ^_^

At the moment they're going to host the game themselves, therefore they're working with the setup as far as I can read from the discord.

@Emily Wouldn't it be an idea to post some of Matt's brief info in a thread here where only you can post? Not everything, but seems that not everyone got discord.

I had been holding out on my update to get more concrete information for you guys. But since it's a been a bit since my last update, I figured I was overdue

 

We have been 'onboarded' with the LA facility. All that means is that we now have a company number and access to the online systems dashboard. We have a full 'welcome aboard team' there. Everyone is waiting for access to open to the racks so we can transport all the hardware. This process has been extremely frustrating. I feel like everything is moving 1/10th normal speed.

 

I was told a timeline is 'eminent' from them - possibly later today.

 

The internal team has checked in all the work for the 'We are back' event. We are waiting to get a testing environment online to start QA

 

I have quotes for EU data center space and I'm flying to Amsterdam this weekend

 

Of course there is no way to bring everything back online at the exact same time - but everything will come online together

 

EU servers will come on slightly later - although we have a new solution for routing traffic and anti-DDoS that might drastically reduce latency from EU to US. I'll be curious to see how it holds up with traffic to LA while Amsterdam is coming online

 

I honestly wish I could give an eta. I keep asking that question downstream to everyone working on our space and I just don't have any answer on that yet

 

I'm mainly looking for a timeline that all our partners can hit. I would love to be moving hardware today, but that's not going to happen.

 

We have plans for a cross world matchmaking solution coming with our April content release

Does LO have an office anymore? I can't imagine APB needing more than a half rack for the databases, and the districts would be better off ran on a few gaming desktops with 12th gen i5 or 5th gen Ryzen, rather than a server with lower core and memory clocks.

i guess is time to talk about APB: Open Source.
That had should be done when we had 10k of players. with a good 1 % with nice coding skills.

That is where their office is and the original log in server.

don't you remember bout 4 years ago or so we went down for 11 days

to replace or upgrade servers. 

 So the actual hardware was already located here in a city just south of 

Los Angeles, on the west coast. So they moved  20 miles north from Anaheim Ca. 

to Los Angeles.
