That's just really bad imo. I dont have character on NA with mods or anything. I bet NA players dont have EU characters with mods, etc aswell. GavidaR 15 Posted June 18, 2018 (edited) I believe a more fair encounter would occur with designated weapons prior to the match without the ability to change them mid game, therefore creating roles and players playing around them, also secondaries could be up to the player to suit his needs. There isn't too many cheaters, but you might not be wrong that people would cheat for the reason to win the premium. So the tourney would be a good way to... catch hackers? Your list of banned items is hard to read, and the reasoning seems arbitrary at best at times. Following that up you've got a massive problem where a huge chunk of the community may not be able to participate. Finally rounding it all up you are hinging your prizes off the gifting system coming back in time. I'd definitely have a backup ready to go on the off-chance it doesn't pan out for whatever crazy reason. Again, I like the idea. I hope you can make it work. Hi Genobee, long time no chat I've already accepted that there's going to be huge problems with this system, chiefly because people would disagree with a point or another (which is fine). Unfortunately I didn't get much response, and people had started to ask about signups. I was hoping for more signups but as of right now it seems to be slowly falling over. However even if the event fails to materialize, I'll go back to the drawing board and propose some better, more thought out, and multiple rulesets for people to deliberate on. On the point of the gifting system, that's something @MattScott would have to answer on. I'm hoping it'll be back before the tournament ends, but if it happens that I have to do a backup, I've got two alternative methods lined up ready to go. Hopefully these answer your concerns.
