It's also not just changing a value. Depending how the coding is it can be chaning a value all the way up to changing the engine the game runs on. Also who ever said the tick rate thing is right and wrong at the same time the tick rate may be capped but the smoothness of your game will increase which would help with aiming. But that will not increase how well you aim and so in your case it's pointless because you probably can't aim for shit either way. Also a increase from 120hz to 144hz is miniscule compared to a change of 40 to 64 hz let's say. Edited June 21, 2018 by YeOldLegends

emiljensen2 1 Posted July 21, 2018 Really hoping this gets looked into considering how easy it would be.
BlatMan 711 Posted July 27, 2018 They should revert it back to using the APBEngine.ini, like the Unreal Engine does by default. That would be the easiest solution for now.
D9M 0 Posted July 30, 2018 Would be really helpfull for 144hz users or higher.

We have a number of players who have expressed issues now that we raised it. Even thought their system *can* support the higher rate, they want to tune their system lower for better performance. I think we need to address that issue before we continue to raise the limit.

The ideal implementation would be for us to be able to choose our own FPS cap. 101, 121, 145 etc.

I think we need to address that issue before we continue to raise the limit. That does make sense, frametimes does seem a bit more fluctuating. Maybe add an option that allows you to limit the fps to refresh rate + 1, or user inputted fps limit. Loving the communication. Dragon 12 Posted August 13, 2018 I hope the performance will get fixed with 3.5 because I still go below 100fps even though I have a High end pc and the settings on ultra LOW.

Yea, befor the patch with the new limit of 145 u can set your monitor to 120 hz and you got 120 fps limit ingame, you set your monitor to 100hz so u have ingame 100 fps limit. Thats why MattScott say that he need to fix that because u cant do it anymore.

If you really want to limit your FPS I can whip up a guide on how to do it?
