Question is, who stole it to who.

That reminds me that I found this game

Which if you pay close attention to has the exact same animations as APB in a few places(shooting, walking, reloading, even has the very identifiable osmaw reload at one point). No idea if they're animations made by G1/RP or apart of UE's.

Vehicles taken from APB, and entire race maps,  environment assets and other vehicles taken from TrackMania 2, from what I recognise.

I'm gonna assume Russians were behind it, as is with the game Nanometic linked. God knows they love to steal IP, and they usually get away with it.

Wait, the guns and the cars are actually assets bought from asset market places? Or just because APB puts a car in the game it's theirs?
People are gullible, smh.

Also Trackmania Nations checkpoints (+ sound for it).

Bet the rest of the game is stolen from somewhere else too.

I don't know but I'm gonna play it now, thanks! And Charge Cisco is actually useful there, yay!!

Jokes aside, honestly that isn't even a "game" made by any company or game design studio, to me it looks like an experiment made by someone who is learning or putting on practice his skills with Unity and such.

In example, if you browse the Google Store there's plenty of android games that just port other games such as old versions of GTA and convert them to something else while there are also clear copies from well developed games that seems to be stolen between game studios.

I don't think this particular case where they took a few cars without body kits for a ugly experimental game would be any kind of a big deal tbh.

I think, he thinks that APB used marketplace assets.

sue them either way.

Matt would waste more money trying to find whoever made this than he could ever get out of a lawsuit

trace the videos and game names back to the owners of that then take it from them.

might get enough money from being wronged or maybe a good enough game to make a profit from. doubtful but never know

This is actually pretty old, and is also the reason the game files became encrypted back in 2014.  A retail disc has unlocked files however.

This abomination is 6 years old, what company did this most likely went under and the people behind it are untraceable

In no way is it worth sueing, especially if the makers are russian or something

It wouldn't be worth it even for Ubisoft

im only saying to poke around in case it was used to fund a still  functioning company

stealing to build a foundation they have now is still liability.

but we both agree not to waste money. just poke around and see if anything worth seeking out is found and if not bury the hatchet.
