  1. Hi, My account has been banned last night for no reason. I have been playing this game for approximately 6-7 years. I do not use any mouse macro programs or manipulation. If you can check my account carefully you can see it yourself. I made up a ticket on apb game support. But I did not receive any answer for 16 hours. I cannot make a new ticket because the first one has not been answered from your side. I checked it a few minutes ago. My ticket is already opened. All these years i spend a lot of money and my time to play this game. I am aggrieved and I need an urgent help. Please research my account carefully and see it yourself. Regards Astrophilia
  2. First off, Your Time isn't worth a chickens cluck. You chose to waste your worthless time just by coming to this forum. Second off, the only peps who play that stupid event are rerolls or low ranks that haven't gotten the awards yet, and I do not see any proof to support your accusation. They have nothing worth exploiting for, and Kerry's been around a long time so he wouldn't need to exploit for some halloween hat or gun skin. Furthermore, He is Not a Hacker, He is Not an Exploiter, Period. APB will not see a Dime from Me nor a microgram of respect until Kerry's account is restored, nor will any firm using EAC get a dime from me. As far as I'm concerned EAC is Malware designed to accept and over look people with aimbots and teleports, and only targets Legit players who refuse to buy such hacks. Kerry was the only 'Other Legit' in Apb next to me, n U Dirty Crooks Banned Him. @MattScott Not a Dime not a penny until this mans account is restored. As far as I'm concerned its EAC Eazy Active Cheat. I will Boycott any Firm using EAC ie Warthunder or any other Firm.
  3. So i press on the steam login and this error code pops up where it says quote on quote- Error / Login Failed PASSWORD EXPIRED!! Your password has expired, you will need to choose a new password before logging in. Please log in the Gamersfirst website at www.gamersfirst.com to change your password. (error code 11002). And idk what i should do i tried making a ticket but it wouldnt let me submit it and i played the game years ago i just thought back at it and wanted to get back into it but i cant seem to get into my old account where i have my weapons money cars cosmetics and what not.. So i hope one of you can help me figure out getting my old account back..

  6. @MattScott So do to this person being false banned, and seeing known blatants still playing on my last visit to apb, I will not only not pay apb for anything, I will also not pay any game that uses EAC, including War Thunder. Regardless of If You do the Right thing and give Kerry his account back. Any Firm associating or consorting with EAC will not get a dime from me.

  8. There is no place on the EAC website for them to answer APB related bans. The game is not on their list of games supported. So there is no way for EAC to unban. No way for APB support to unban. Every EAC ban is designated by them and can't be undone. Just add in a function of your own to override EAC. By the time anyone looks at these unfair bans, the player is going to be gone. Every cheat is adding in macros, whatever to adjust the game. For someone that is running widely used antivirus software (avg), and no macros, etc., there should be some way to get rid of these false bans. In the webcast, secrets was saying there was some communication with EAC. There should be communication about their false bans and have them show the proof of third party tools. Quoting Matt - 90% of the bans were from other people playing other accounts. Is the other 10% false bans then? Why is there no help for a false ban?? Please follow up with EAC. My account was banned because of their mistake. I don't have any third party tool and I'm still waiting for my account to be fixed.
  9. Got another email from support saying 'we can't help'. And too busy to help with other support issues going on. This is an easy fix, tell EAC they screwed up and unban my account. How hard is that?? Maybe Matt will address issue today with LO Q&A
  10. EAC banned my account for a third party tool. I have no third party tool, my computer uses AVG anti virus, and I've been playing APB for years with no problem. There is no way for EAC, support, or moderators to fix this problem. Obviously a technical issue for EAC they have not fixed. EAC will not fix a player account if banned, and the problem came from their code/program. There should be an override to EAC's issue, and my player account should be corrected.
  11. I have recently logged into my apb account and it has given me an error code 10008, i have no idea why my account has been banned as i have never cheated in this game. remove post if its not allowed in this thread also.

First things first, massive thanks for breaking the silence and coming forward with an AMA stream (though I do understand the reasons behind the silence as described in the recent blogpost; again, my condolences, and I wish the best for the future). As for the actual questions I would have, trying not to repeat the ones I've already seen here: For all of the love I have for the game as a whole, I'm also eager to point out that APB's first time user experience (FTUE) is absolutely abysmal. The tutorial system is clunky and uninviting; some time ago I'd managed to get a friend of mine to give the game a shot and he said he found my advice a lot more comprehensible than the tutorial menu. I remember that plans to improve FTUE were already brought up in the past, but approximately speaking: how much of a priority is improving FTUE? One of the things from APB's past which I would actually say was a good idea is the Refer-a-Friend system... on a conceptual level. Its implementation left a lot to be desired, owing largely to the fact that the actual invited players saw no profit from the system and the inviter got to reap the full benefits, including some really good items to get as account-bound. Would LO be willing to reintroduce the Refer-a-Friend system in some shape or form at some point? Otherwise, are there any plans to encourage or incentivize players to recommend the game to others? The interface of the game is honestly a bit dated in various ways. Besides having mechanical issues (the UI running on both Scaleform and Kismet being probably the biggest one, but there's also the reliance on non-descriptive bars instead of exact values) I think it's also showing its age visually and aesthetically. Are there any plans to modernize or otherwise update the game's user interface? I think that's it from me. Looking forward to the Q&A!

  14. Hello, i got banned/blocked around 6-7 years ago for "real life money trade" or something like that. I really dont know what is talking about because i was 13 yo kid while that ban happened. so the options are that someone used my account / faked the sell offer somehow / my account comprimised. today after 6-7 years im in my third ticket with a request to unban my account so i can play APB again with all my nostalgic stuff but no one wants to help me. Please ANY MANAGER - try to help me with this situtation. Im a combat soldier right now in real life and sometimes i just want to spend sometimes playing videos games, and one of them is apb. I hope anyone can see it and help me here. thank in advance
  15. Strictly personal? What is that?? Just admit someone screwed up and banned my account for no reason. For EAC/support/moderators to say I'm using some third party tool, not show any evidence, and then effectively tell me to shut up? Nobody from support, moderators, or Matt has done one thing to help me out. A player for years that has not hacked. Thanks for nothing. Absolutely pathetic.

My weak opinion but really Dont get mad with Azuki, compared to a lot forums, academic included -.- , he/she(?) is a gem of a moderator with a lot of patience and common sense... the fact this post is still here and not fulminate removed togheter with your account and others complaining means something Noted what happened to others but also myself , The only times when my post or threads get cancelled happen when only casually when one or more SPCT get quite colorful riduculed while defending LO.. yep casually, we've already know LO doesnt care and doesnt read the forum as much they dont care and know the Client support sucks, so we can assume they go C R Y to Azuki for take actions, otherwise for real Azuki let them cook for well as much deserved/ right.   17. An update to the hacker issue. They have finally recovered my stolen weapons but I guess are not aloud to tell me who stole from my account and what actions have been taken apparently. But Im having issues with opening the the attachments they send me in my mail to restore lost items, Im getting error code 740009 everytime I try to open them and then the attachment disappears and no weapon in my inventory
  18. Like I said in the previous test thread. I can run this test with a single workstation. Run as many VMs as you want. Run them all in linux. We're not testing cross district matchmaking, we're not testing game performance, so no need to test with real players. Also, most people's test accounts are going to have the wrong threat applied. No one is going to play enough missions on the test server to equalize their threat. Even then, there's no way for players to compare the existing system to this new one, because we can't see the real threat value, only a solid color. And your forum editor is still broken. It decided to randomly post my comment while I was in the middle of typing. Maybe I accidentally hit Enter, but I doubt it since this keyboard requires 70g of force to press a key. Game runs like crap since the 11/8/23 EAC update. I have a W3680. Friends have between 7th Gen i7 to 13th gen i5. All of us experience the same low fps during missions. It's not nessessarily just low fps, it's choppy. 80fps feels like 30 or lower when the fps drop happens. For my PC, I don't know if it's Epic Online Services or Windows 10 causing the issue, but for my friends they had 10 prior and didn't have as many fps drops before the update. I couldn't stay connected to EU Financial but EU Waterfrontran fine. One friend kept DC'ing on US servers, depsite having 10ms to US West and less than 90ms to US East. I've had multiple people complain about hitreg in /w and on discord. The one guy was screaming about his shots not hitting me, then all of a sudden I see him peak the corner and min ttk me, as if the server was running seconds behind.
  19. Past few days, I had a post on my account being banned. Now that thread has been deleted. Forum moderators must have been told my topic wasn't any good for them. I guess my account being banned was wrong, and now they want to cover that up. Pretty petty and embarrassing to whoever is deleting the post and banning my character account. Bye Felicia!
  20. Unfortunately that didn't help either, I even made a very simple password to eliminate the possibility of error, but the system still says my password or email is wrong. Support has been silent for 4 days, I've written three more emails to them but they don't reply. I think that I will not get access to my account anymore and it is very frustrating because I invested real money there and I have many memories with it. I will not create a new account because I don't want to go all the way back. I cared a lot about my character and I certainly won't be able to create the exact same one. It's a shame GamersFirst doesn't care about their players, the game is almost dead and they are making it even harder for old players to come back. Thank you for the tips!
  21. Way too late. I had moved my account to Nexon, but then missed the date to move it to Papaya. I don't recommend playing it now. The netcode was switched from peer to peer, to peer to server. There's no more kill trading, and hit registration is god awful. I loved the p2p netcode because when you killed the other player and you didn't die, it meant you reacted first on both your screen and your opponents screen. They removed kill trading. Now close gunfights comes down to who the server decides to favor.
  22. I don't know what to do. I'm new here now, but I tried the game way back. Sorry if this isn't formatted correctly or something. I wanted certain cosmetics so I put a few bucks into g1c points or whatever. When I go to actually buy anything with them it just says "Your account is not active" with seemingly no way to actually spend the credits I payed money for. Even though I just added credits to my account. Even though I've been playing the game. I tried to validate my email in case that's the problem, but it never sends a validation email, even though they'll send me emails for other things. It's the correct email. When I try to contact support, when selecting APB at the support screen, all it does is refresh the page. Nothing happens. I can't contact support for some reason. I've tried on multiple computers and laptops now. I don't know what to do. I feel like they just stole my money.
  23. in this type of situation i will reset my password, But i use one finger and word and write down each letter as i go and make sure not to hit space afterwords. That way i can ensure the password is right If that does not work my only guess is they locked the account for what ever reason. Support is ran by a bunch of children who have a "high and mighty" attitude when approaching anything
  24. Supports help is like getting rammed in the rear by a 2 ton bull. In all honesty it's more then likey screwed as support has a "who gives a shit" approach to handling everything around here, I'm shocked that they didn't out right threaten to ban you for account stealing
  25. Hey, everybody. I'm an old player and have been playing on my account for 12 years now, with long breaks. After a long pause, I decided to get back into the game and found that my NTEC Crimslayer has disappeared. I distinctly remember it having two slots and being permanent because when I returned to the game after a few years, it was still in my inventory. I can't recall how I acquired it, but I believe I won it in an event. If you can remember, please provide me with the details. I decided to contact support and explained my situation to them. Support asked me to link a new email and change my password to a new one after I provided them with all the necessary information, such as my birth year, account creation date, the characters I have on my account, my Steam ID, and recent transactions, in order to resolve my problem. I linked a new email and changed my password, but since then, I haven't been able to log into my account. Despite contacting support multiple times, they keep advising me to check my password, delete the cache, and try again. However, since yesterday evening, I've changed my password five times and still can't log in to my account. Support's responses are very slow, and since yesterday, I have had no access to the game. I am extremely disappointed that support is ignoring my problem, especially after I've done everything they asked. I believe it is the support's fault that I now have no access to my account. My account, as I mentioned, is 12 years old, and I don't want to lose it as it holds many memories for me. What do you advise me to do? I hope someone from support sees this post and helps me regain access to my account.
