Only the 'likes' and 'thanks' are optional. This way the forums look good to new players. Publicity hoax..... -

And now trolls will start posting and we can't downvote. Ok, lol.... -
1: No. Eventho I do appriciate the effort but there are so many things that need to addressed first before a new map is even a concideration imho: There are still glitches on Waterfront who haven't been fixed by G1 (back then) and LO, eventho the glitches are known to them Forcing a tie on a match in Financial is still not fixed, original report of this dates back to 2013 and more recent. Glitched items and players is still not fixed, eventho multiple reports date back to 2016 and more recent. Matchmaking, population, cheating. You know, the usual stuff 2: I play ocasionally and I probably will play a new map, even if it's just out of curiosity. A thing related to playing is spending real money. And tbh, I used to spend quite some cash on the game but that stopped instantly after the bad decisions LO made regarding the Nekrova-Citadel merge. A new map would not make me play more, nore will it change my mind on spending real cash on the game. 3: No opinion

You've got a point there. So based on your theory here we are, gold players play in silver districts while silvers play in bronze districts. And for some odd reason we only complain about the silvers playing in bronze. I'm pretty sure that if the gold players stay in the gold districts this would be less of a problem. I'm well aware of the fact that the low population doesn't allow a full gold server to fill up with gold players but then again, that's not the silver player his fault so it's only a natural reaction for silvers to play in bronze districts. I mean gold players are playing in lower distrstricts, why can't silvers? LO is not giving them an alternative. LO, gold and silver players are all contributing to the low population and dethreatings. I know that's not what people want to hear, it sucks but it is what is is....

Agree to disagree. There's a a lot of names on ffb that where raging hard and not to mention the 'closets' who tried to hide hacks but failed misserably. Facing those unbanned 'pro players' in districts was just another failed attempt to populate the servers (imho) and lots of legit players disliked (and still do) the idea of facing unbanned players with multiple violations. So LO can think of all nice things to patch/update but if the current AC isn't doing what it's supposed to do and the threatlevel/matchmaking will not be fixed then dethreating will always be a thing.
-
It's no secret that a lot of people just won't fight versus any player who have multiple records on for example ffbans and seeing them in your district as opponents can be frustrating. If the current AC was any good and a better matchmaking system (way to easy to get gold) is in play then the afk'ing and dethreating will be reduced to an acceptable level.

Not all macros are detectable, most of them are. Usually the comon ones made in mouse software, ahk or simular are picked up. There are still macros (some are part of a cheat) that aren't detected by the current anti cheat so I think it's only fair to say that some macros are detectable. Merged. It's been like that for ages. It's just that the hardware is more accessable nowadays for an affordable price. The amount of users is growing rapidly in other games so it was just a matter of time before people started using it in the smaller games like APB.

It's not a cheat, it's the new copcar toplight. In Armas soon.

Buildin aimbot to even the odds.

Almost true. There's at least 2 streamers who use a bit more then just a wallhack and if you figure out the 'aim angle' they're using and know what to look for then you know exactly what I'm talking about. There are a few cheats that are more private (not for sale) and have more sophisticated options then the 'regular' cheats. The current AC won't even detect the regular cheats atm so detecting private ones are not going to happen either. And still ppl wonder why the game is running on low pop.... This has been going on for a long time and the funny thing is people starting to discover this, mainly though out bloody mice and all the other regular hardware. But there's one piece of hardware you hear nothing about (at least in public forums) that can be (and is) used to cheat in a lot of games, eventho AC developers know this and somehow fail to block it. People even speculate that it has something to do with filing lawsuits since this hardware wasn't designed for cheating purposes but can be used for it. Ftr, I can't confirm the speculations tho but it does make sense.

Oh, you mean the video I send you personally a few weeks ago of a known cheater ragehacking? You know, that cheater with lots of Arma purchases that is still playing on that same account yesterday? You must've overlooked the video because any GM with a bit of gamesense would have banned this guy right after watching the video. Don't bother replying, just let it sink in.

Agreed, it's just that not all companies invest the proper amount of time/money/efford to reduce the numbers.
-
If it prevents moving exploiting preset groups (2 high gold + 2 low bronze) to lower disctricts then I'm fine with it, asuming that not a single player can be moved from a group to a new district.
-
Dethreathing will be a lot less (if not gone) if cheaters aren't around in the servers legits play on, everybody knows that. With that said, if the average legits are in lower servers then the high legits will face cheaters more often. I can understand why the high legits want the threat segregation gone, easy targets here we come... Unfortunately this will never work because forcing low legits to play against high rank (regardless if they cheat or not) will lead to depopulation and APB will die even faster.
-
With the failing AC in mind, legit people want fair fights and in the current cheat detection state the game is in right now it's perfectly understandable to keep threat restrictions as they are right now. There's absolutely no point in forcing legit paying customers into servers with 3rd party crapware users. Besides that, it's bad economics, getting hammered over and over again will lead to even lower population instead of spending any irl cash. I for example bought 4 games during the Steam summer sale eventho I love to have a few Armas items from the store, but to me it's pointless in the current state of APB.
-
Just report them ingame and maybe they'll get banned in a few months (give or take) so you won't have to face them again. Hang in there! #sarcasm
-
As long as that amount is above zero then it's still wrong and unacceptable, not even mentioning the unfairness to legit players because of the 'delayed' bans (lags too apparently).
-
BattleEye is working so well that it leaves blatant cheats on stream be, doing absolutely nothing. 'obs[DOT]exe in memory so must be legit'.....

Some assorted feedback for the anniversary event.

I hear ya but JT and titles aren't things I'm looking for in an event. I've got plenty of those already. -

Tried 3 games last night and the framedrop was horrible and made the game unplayable. Tried again this morning, nothing changed. Just found out that the rewards for the gungame are disapointing to me personally so I'm skipping the event. 25 minutes of heavy framerate drops for 30JT and a title I'm never going to wear aren't worth my time. I wish all those who enjoy the event a good time. -
Oh, bit of a disappointment for me then personally. I'll pass. Thank for the intel tho.

I'd love to see previous glow in the dark skins available to everybody. I mean, if we're all about sharing the legendary welth we might as well do it with skins to make it more accessable for everyone. Besides that, it makes people grind even more. I know for sure that I'll grab the one skin that magicly went missing from my inventory and that wasn't restored by support wearing a blindfold.
