P5/N5 literally prevented people who were good to stay in one spot while their location was shown on the map. It was also seen as a way to keep people out of cheesy spots because everyone knew where they were and could prevent themselves from getting ambushed by someone hiding in the same spot constantly. instead everyone wants to pretend it was a bad feature when no one ever fucking complained 3 years ago. Why? Probably because the population wasnt full of whiny patootie people who cry when they get cut down for being so good at the game they got a bounty on them. Now when someone gets P5/N5 that person can sit in their little spot free of care knowing no one can kill them or know where they are. Increasing their boldness. Great idea! Little Orbit is doing many great things! /s no one compared it to anything. I simply said removing unique features make apb less unique and used gta as the go to example for 'shooty game with cars and gunfights' stop trying to make everything seem 'different' with buzzwords people use for excusing why X is similar to X lmfao. I understood removing it for randoms to ruin missions, but it also served as a balance to prevent people from simply being 'too good' by showing their location. But yes removing a feature is good idea. Way to add features to the game through removal instead of creating new ones. :^)

Yes. It makes no fucking sense to kill Jericho with 'threat segregation' but its pretty obvious no one actually gives a shit. Someone made a similar thread before threat segregation and they were attacked by the usual dethreaters because they would get placed against players of their level and then cry because they can't run away and hide in the low level districts and kill off population there. Most games nowadays don't even have segregated servers for threat skill level, they rely on matchmaking. APB is probably one of the few games that still do the segregation because its a bandaid fix for a shit matchmaking system that no one has bothered to change since forever.

Game is not free of cheaters, you just assume people cheat without anything other than 'they kill entire team in view' which I have done a lot when I encounter players who are really shit at the game. You can easily kill 2-3 people in one clip of an ntec if you are lucky enough. because what dumbfuck would cheat in a hero shooter/moba lol

EAC works, do not know if it actually automatically bans though. Pretty sure they just block people from playing using malicious programs and flag that player and send the name up to LO to do the banning. Just stop assuming anyone who is killing you quickly is cheating. The game has shit net code to begin with so if you fight people who have unstabl ping or a ping much different than yours you will be killed from behind walls simply due to how everything is registered server side, so to you you are behind cover but the enemy shot you before you got to cover and the server is registering that. happens in some games i play like paladins, I've had plenty of instances of dying after just getting to cover. APB is probably just worse off considering how dated the code is and UE3 is buggy as shit for multiplayer games in the first place

they said they were going to wipe old names from banned accounts or accounts not logged in since a year or so and then force all of the people with non latin character names to name change but it didnt happen
