I've always been against loot boxes in all games, its gambling and its terrible. It takes advantage of people with... flawed thinking to put it nicely. I know a fellow IRL, who starts with enough money for his cigarettes, and weed, but instead spends it all on scratcher tickets, claiming he needs to make money to buy his cigarettes and weed, which of course almost always ends up with him having no money for anything. Which of course makes him angry and he feels the world is being unfair. He does what a lot of people would never want to do, recycling cans and bottles, the type of fellow you would see going through dumpsters with a grocery cart. He is SO addicted to gambling, it prevents him (thankfully) from becoming addicted to worse things like meth, thats how powerful gambling addiction is. Thats just one example, I'm sure most people know at least one person who has struggled with such a thing. If you search the web, there are even examples of people showing the same behaviour with in game loot boxes and the terrible fallout it had on their lives. IMHO, there is a damn good reason some countries are actively making loot boxes illegal.

IMHO unless you are playing on a potato, you can let "smooth framerate" to cap it at 60 FPS, which most any system with remotely recent hardware could achieve. I run the game with uncapped FPS on max settings core i5 2500k 16gb ddr3 nvidia gtx 680 4gb Fairly old stuff, but get average 120+ FPS, sometimes drops to around 90, seems like it might be noticable, but not really at all. The only issue I have as far as performance is server issues, which obviously I can do nothing about. Hit boxes are static and the same size, doesn't matter if you visually large or small, hit box is same size. I mean, easy to see if you pay attention to your crosshair, shoot under and over cover. Can you explain "visually reduces recoil"?

I tried suggesting to someone that they would get better reactions to their "suggestions and feedback" lol, if they actually posted it in that part of the forum, but for some reason people gave me dislikes, as if it was a terrible idea.

Ok. I never said my problem was I didn't create it. Maybe screenshot will help illustrate the issue better than my words. Also, its 100 layer, it was my clan symbol (clan of mostly just me but hey), but now that clan name belongs to someone else, probably cause of merge. https://imgur.com/a/b0tdyYO I'm not sure if you all would have reacted differently if I had worded it "Reloaded Productions erroneously listed as the creator of my symbols" Everyone is quick to assume the worst, cast judgement, and put people down. Also, I don't really plan on recreating my symbols, or asking someone else to, I mean, they aren't really super relevant to me or my game play anymore. It really isn't a big deal, if I was into selling stuff on the market, I would probably be more concerned.

Well, certain users have shown, how multiple accounts can be abused on the rep system which has been changed since then. See? This is why we cant have nice things!

I honestly don't plan on ever using symbol creator again, it went from a way you could make RTW currency to pay your subscription, to something you are greatly limited on if you DONT subscribe.

Well, I have to admit I was just unbanned today... Just adding, like I said, they are symbols from RTW time, they were created BEFORE G1 was ever part of the picture.

Working as intended? The symbols have NO creator attached to them. That doesn't sound working as intended to me? Even themes I've had from players that got banned or from before server merges still have a creator attached to them.

So, I have symbols from ancient times of RTW, and they don't have creator listed, so I can't copy/edit them. I tried making a ticket about this but the "choose game" field was.. just words on the page not a selectable thing, so couldn't submit it. Anyhow, is there any way support is able to fix old "orphaned" symbols?

I can see how ammo needs a downside, I mean, your whole team can stand at the back of your car throwing grenades basically until you get bored of it.

You keep saying "people will leave" without an event right, but speak for yourself please. They are working on things that are IMHO, much more important, like game stability, and Engine Upgrade. I would much rather them focus on the real stuff than worry about another gimmicky event.

I wonder how many people that complain about facing "golds" in bronze district, are the same bronze/green players that are so bad they turn a legit silver player gold? Like, as a player, you have no way of knowing if someone is dethreating with any certainty, unless of course they admit it. I player that is actually interested in playing and getting better won't think "oh gold killed me, time to quit" they will try and learn from their mistakes. Chess masters and athletes don't seek out weaklings to pick on, theres no challenge in that. Conflict and challenge cause personal growth. Its funny, in real life if someone like Michael Jordan wanted to play basketball with you, most people would think its awesome. But people on the forums would I guess, instead say "He is a pro, he should just go the hell away" Adapt or die.

I really don't see what the issue is, if you have conc nades, takes only one for most cars, heavy armored vegas or pioneer might take 2. I mean, you don't need to actually blow them, just mostly. OSMAW, its one shot, volcano 2 shot. If you have a HARD damage LMG less than a clip on almost all of them? I mean, a rank 1 T could just hop in a truck and ram it a couple times even? On the other hand its honestly super easy to play around, if its close to an enemy, wont work, close to another spawner, wont work. Not to mention if you are keeping an eye on them they can provide an easy kill, maybe even a bunch of easy kills.

When I see people complain about Ogre, I just assume they have never stepped off a curb and been killed by Strife + gravity.

O M G it would be epic, hit someone with PIGG and watch them run like 2 steps stiffen up and fall over.

I'm like... a thousand or so places ahead in line and haven't got any response on my ticket from last friday, so, gonna require a LOT of patience.

My tactics, depends greatly on who I team with, when playing with randoms, alot of my tactics start with: Wait to see if teamates bothering showing up, then see how hard they are going to try and then contribute accordingly. I learned that putting in effort will only piss you off if your teamates are unable (or unwilling as often the case) to play proper, and work together.

Last time I read a thread about these guns most people said they are terrible so I didn't bother trying, but this thread making me think maybe its not terrible? Is it just one of those guns where it only works well in some people hands?

I could imagine how one might see no information about bans, and be concerned that battle eye is not doing anything. On the other hand I don't really know much about battle eye, for all I know it could prevent people from being able to use the standard cheats everyone was subscribed to. In that scenario I would wonder if battle eye stopped someone from cheating, thus no cheating occurred, would LO ban them? But like I said, I don't know the mechanics of it all, so I'm not sure how concerned or not to be, so I try not to worry, only time will tell how it all works out.

I have to admit. If the original post had, you know, actual content, maybe something along the lines of "I bought the gun on X date, it was changed on Y Date, these are the numbers "numbers" I think it should be looked at for changing, or maybe people get a refund of G1C" I would have read it, and shrugged most likely. If it was posted in the proper suggestion area, I wouldn't even have read it. But the guy who brought us Starts this thread, with nothing more than a title, and an unrelated video for what, humor? If its to be taken seriously, its been done in entirely the wrong way. You seem to be reacting quite strongly over me simply voicing my opinion. I suppose, my initial post was dismissive. But it was my response to the thread as presented.

Ok, but if you want to present you feed back and suggestions, and do it on a regular basis, and actually have people that are looking for threads about that, perhaps at the very least do it in the suggestion forum. Also, its a pay to use gun if you don't like it shouldn't buy it? I feel like you are white knighting pretty hard, maybe I'm wrong.

You have an opinion, thats wonderful, everyone has an opinion on guns and if the devs listened to everyone it would be a bloody mess. Also, seriously, he keeps making new threads and such about gun balance, before of what you are standing for or you will fall for anything.

@Zealocke instead of making thread after thread about what you think should be changed, maybe just learn to use weapons that suit your fighting style. Learn to use situationally appropriate weapons. By now you have seen that at best, people have differing opinions. More likely, just disagree.] Go play instead of trying to convince people things should work how you like, if you can't go play, shit, do something more productive with your time.
