aside from the change to pellet mechanics the new showstopper and showstopper 'thunder' are both very well balanced imo

leaving aside the fact that low yields are unlocked though rank progression and not from using grenades, low yields were never intended to replace frags - that defeats the purpose of having multiple weapons

while the new guns are both shotguns they have a .7s ttk and 1.05s ttk, that plus orbit currently testing versions of the oca and jg/csg with higher ttks make me think that orbit is pretty aware of the negative effects of pushing low ttk guns
