My idea goes a bit far and might only be possible after the engine upgrade, except LO somehow has access to this because this might be hidden deep in the code, just not available doubt it I'd just go with the last one and give it the following stats: - Damage remains the same - Ammo capacity from from 4 (12) to 4 (8) - Movement the same as SHAW/ALIG/HVR -> Reason why i choose this weapon model is to make it fit being the weapon with a brutal punch. Having this tiny thing we have right now in your hands doesn't fit in my opinion Crouched speed 90 cm/s Walk speed 90 cm/s Marksman Speed 90 cm/s Run Speed 350 cm/s Sprint Speed 475 cm/s so basicaly the movement stats of heavy weapons - Explosive range decreased to 7m or 6.5m -> I'd just do a little bit here, prefering the 7m or even keeping 7,5m. Making it an actual heavy explosive should still keep it as threatening as one such weapon - effective max explosion range should stay in that case - Fire Interval 1,750 sec - Windup time 0,75s -> Making it work like the HoHoHo-PGL. You'd still be able to hold LMB and empty all 4 at one go but once you stop firing you must windup again. Since this one is a rework of the weapon i'd suggest using sounds that are noticeable and sound threatening. Unlike the lighter grenade launchers this one still has a good punch. Winding it up should be noticeable and its shot sound can be the same or probably something more brutal. Smoke that are actually noticeable and if possible the nade should blink red. In this form it can still be dangerous for teammates but it's not spammable anymore, it is limited in movement and ammo capacity but finaly fits into the role of a high damage demolition weapon. Tbh, what i hope for this is to turn it into what i stated. If that actually works out well, i dont know. This definitely has to be tested and isnt as easy as just removing it from asylum. The old model of OPGL could be used as a frag grenade launcher in the style of EOL turning it into a light grenade launcher probably for lower ranks.

- Grenades bug under the map and are invisible sometimes - no indicator that it was fired like other explosive demolition type weapons - can be fired around the corners and force people around 2 corners giving them a high disadvantage (Inside a building) - high ammo capacity - high mobility - high damage potential and able to clean or predamage opponents AND teammates - high explosion range that makes it impossible to escape for both opponents AND teammates if they're in a fight It's by no mean the absolute top meta weapon it just ruins asylum for a lot of people as soon as one or two are pulling it out. Being quick on foot which is important is not possible, it stalls teammates or opponents unneccesary. I know too well how shite it was to jump down from another level, walking through a door and getting teamkilled by a grenade that was shot there by someone. Havent seen it, haven heard him shooting. Often i just get blasted when i am in a 2v1 or 3v1 because some people with that gun think its coleteral damage but ay they get the sweet blitzkrieg. Now explain why you think nothing is wrong with this weapon and we just cry about it.

could've taken on a group of 3 around me if a teammate wouldn't have blasted me out of cover but enemies can also just block off 2 access areas for a while, a little bit longer if they have constant ammo supply and the range is hilarious. It's inside a house.
-
Wish there would be less troll posts about this but what do i expect. Not gonna explain it again if the only counter and pro arguments are to remove it entirely or the typical "git gud"
-
This is why you can't have a serious conversation about this topic. Only thing you can hope is that LO takes a look at it and decide for themself. If they wanna keep it that's fine. That is much easier to accept than some peoples "GIT GUD LOL JUST USE FLAK JAKET OR DODGE NADES BRUH"
-
Had to explain to 3 people at once why it is a bad idea to have heavy artillery (pocket version) in a map that is basicaly inside a house. Conclusion: - OPGL is perfectly balanced - If the mode can't take one of the base weapons of this game, it might be a shit mode and should probably be removed - jUsT uSe fLaK jAcKeT Feels like i got way too deep into this topic already.

Everyone can do this but you might get yourself in huge trouble for a 600 avg pop game not to imagine what comes the bigger the devs are. Wouldnt advice even think about doing that and no, that basically doesnt mean they can own and hack this game but if more people are fine with it and dont report such people the longer they will stick with us. BE on the other hand isnt doing a good job right now. LO has to take a look at that.

"I am okay with ..." is one of the major issues. I've seen a lot of people also saying: "Yea no ones getting banned i have friends cheating for years but i dont mind" Cheaters get the least if not no respect from me just to an extend where it's not going against the ToS. That's the reason why some of them also start attacking developers with ddos or other shizz because others tolerate it and/or blame the devs of the game instead.

k dud But yes it was said here and there.

Exactly what happened to me as well. Definitely needs fixing but no need to be mad about it.

Is that so? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ...

About Config and Macro usage
JunoSuzuki replied to TheLexatrixNoir's topic in General Discussion Archive
As bad as cheaters because they are feeding them what they need and what drives some of them to use cheats at all. People that have this under controll are cheater defenders because they don't give in to the urge of pointing fingers at everyone they SUSPECT of cheating and don't call them out as such. -
This. I've seen lots of people using FAR. Sure Ntec is more popular but seeing these changes gives the wrong message. FAR (Nerf), Ntec-5 (Buff) just makes more people pick the ntec. For any other weapon i'd like to see changes that brings them on the same level as those which are commonly used. Sure that is not precise feedback but i also dont know if i'm precise how it would actually work since i am not sitting directly on the testing stuff. I could say change stat X from value 1 to value 2 but there is no way for me to see what it actually does. A district where players can change their weapon stats and values to test things out themself would be nice tbh

They do enforce their ToS/CoC it is just hard to wage. They either don't do enough or are absolute dictators for doing it in the eye of people, there is a fine line. If you want to know something about it you can ask them. I did that several times now and i know they definitely don't want a toxic community. Plus: You can be toxic without going against any rules.
-
Problem is rather that people who don't like APB can't get away from it and spread their toxic nonsense everywhere. Look, there are games i once liked. They developed differently to my dislike -> I don't play them anymore or at least not that active instead of still hanging around there telling anyone who likes it "DiS gAmE sHiT LOL yOu aLL bRaiN dAmAgEd"

Everything they are adding new to the game has to be redone for the new engine again and again so the sad thing is that all we can do is wait. After that adding new stuff will be much easier. But i'd like to see more weapon changes as well. Also a better communication between players, SPCT and LO but all this takes time. Having faster weapon changes to avoid stuff like OCA being topmeta SMG out of the sudden would be really nice.

Crashes on contacts / buying weapons general protection fault
JunoSuzuki replied to Zuri/Katya's topic in Resolved Bugs
No, he said the one that solves his problem gets 5$. -
I mean would you pay money for something that doesnt work/protect very well? A lot of people don't even know that and think LO switched to BE just for fun.

The large freedom of movement and capacity is the problem. Firing around corners is one of its advantages because with OPGL you dont care about pixelperfect crosshair placement if you dont wanna fire around corners very close. As long as the nades lands where you want it you can also predict a lot with map knowledge in addition which can force the enemy team around 2 corners which is a big disadvantage for them. Now put it to a test with 2 OPGLs in one team. or three, four, five. At some point it just becomes unfunny and annoying.
-
I disagree with that statement. Fightclub itself isn't the issue. It's the type of map. While explosives in Baylan are completely fine they can be extra annoying in Asylum. Baylan was made for long range fights and is more open. Asylum is a building with a lot of spots inside. Having just one blasting a direction with OPGL makes it very hard. I'd also direct to this discussion. In my opinion it is only the OPGL that needs a rework or some tweaks. It is way to light for a weapon with such a punch, has too much ammo capacity for what it can do and the nades are bugged in a way that they just disappear under the maps surface and are not really visable enough. There is no indicator that makes clear this weapon was fired at all like OSMAW, Volcano and the EOL series with their windup timers which OPGL hasnt and those weapons arent really a problem. The rocket launchers are limited in movement, ammo capacity and can be a higher risk and also just fire straight forward. EOL is okay it can be annoying but it is not that bad. OPGL can also fire around corners and it's nades have a very nice blast radius. So in short it's basicaly rework OPGL or just remove that one weapon form Asylum. Doesn't mean an entire map or mode has to be deleted.

Don't worry doing these events aren't a drawback for the engine updates progress. Even if the lead dev might be on vacation which is pretty common during christmas time wouldn't mean work stops entirely. There are teams working on different stuff and they are definitely focused on the engine and are still working on it eventhough we haven't heard anything yet. I can understand that people wanna hear something and we might get a sign sooner or later. They also have other projects going on like Unsung story that was a thing last month. There's definitely a huge improvement since LO took over and it's worth to support it if you love this game.
