  1. Sounds like they have no intention to prevent rerolls, which is fine by me TBH.
  2. It's APB: if anything it's good that they aren't playing.
  3. I'm always kind of skeptical of banning "all of someone's accounts," seeming as there's literally no way of knowing who an account belongs to. I'm really curious what proof you have, but I know you obviously won't share it in fear of people abusing that knowledge. What am I saying though, we all know nobody has been banned because someone else hacked on the same IP or machine as them, right?
  4. Oh yeah, no way in hell they'd survive if they went to try to play new cash grabbing shit on us. I feel like most of us have learned to think a little better before we spend money, but perhaps I'm wrong.
  5. How does one "strive" for an item that the way you get it is spending $30 during one particular week? Also, any game dev that makes extraordinarily rare items tradable, whether they allow real world trading or not, knows damned well that they're creating items with inflated prices for the real-money market. Sure, items in APB won't go for thousands of dollars, but if the game ever gets any popularity again, the market will be there, and there will be plenty of people willing to play the system, whether that be buying items en-mass, hacking, or just playing the market. I know FFA IIIs have gone for a few hundred bucks, what's to say ARMAS items from a few years ago won't go for more? If a game company can't keep a game running without resorting to preying on them psychologically, I'm not entirely sure I want the game's servers to run in the first place. There's a reason I haven't spent money on PUBG since they turned into cash grabbing bastards. Even if we ignore P2W, in a game based so largely around customization, do you really want a game where you need one specific scarf for your outfit, but you can't have that scarf because "fuck you, that scarf was only sold a year ago, character bound no less."
  6. Didn't you say you spend 550 euros on this game? Doesn't that put you on the same planet? *EDIT* I'm sorry BXNNXD, I know you'd probably rather be on a different planet than him, but sometimes the truth hurts.
  7. Paid content is content too, so as far as I'm concerned you're talking about content, not to mention JMBs bring free content to the game to a lot of players like myself. Limited time store items are a blatant psychological trick to pressure people into buying it, plain and simple. Ultimately it's not very different from getting people addicted to gambling on RNG boxes, and I've seen it have pretty bad effects on people just the same. So switching out JMBs, which are a system you can easily avoid if you have a little in-game money, because they're bad, and then replacing them with something as vile or worse is dumb IMO. On top of that, limited time items have the negative effect of not really adding much to the game like permanent ARMAS additions do. I kinda' figured as someone who was at one point for handing out the Butcher skin you wouldn't be for permanent limited time exclusivity.

    On-Eye VR Glasses

I need feminism because women in shadowstrike get issued glasses instead of goggles.
  9. Fun backstory, I like it! It's relatively original for APB. Lots of bits, little bitty bits. Decent job emulating APB's writing style BTW. Added to the directory!
  10. I thought that stood for Stand To Pee device, but I guess getting a tactical position while peeing makes sense too. Didn't think you were AFAB, but I don't judge.
  11. How about we don't do limited run items and never suggest that again. That's just taking one terrible business practice and replacing it with another. APB needs more content, not more exclusivity. Thanks.
  12. BTW, am I the only one who sees legendaries as some of the best and most common F2P content APB gets? That's the point, legendaries are supposed to be weird and fun, not meta-defining. Not that there aren't a few that are really good.
  13. I think I'm the only person who likes JMBS. . . . . . and I don't buy JMBs. So probably not.
  14. Expecting responses from support in 2019. That's rich.
  15. Lixil, this thread is directly talking about the game, in what world does this belong in off topic? Can you explain to me what exactly belongs in social district if not threads talking about APB?
  16. Speaking of eight years. . . how long was this thread inactive before Crow necroed it for no reason?
  17. I get that idea, we're just arguing he's not taking "advantage" of anything if he's just making more people dislike APB.
  18. He's not really being savage, he's just being realistic. I personally agree with him: a person who's never heard of or played APB is more valuable to G1 than a person who's decided it's a bad game and uninstalled it.
  19. This is why email notifications are OP.
  20. He specifically said NEETs, so yes, I'm saying it adds up for most people without a job. Thanks for agreeing with me.
  21. Days, weeks, and months worth of hours add up fast. That would require them to personally infect many, many computers. If you're just a random guy DDOSing a videogame I'm pretty sure nobody does that.
