  1. TFW KTTC was less expensive under G1, because at least we got 50% off sales all the time, not to mention rebates.
  2. What the actual fuck is this update? Please actually fix and standardize ARMAS. IDK, like, spend at least an afternoon making the prices work right instead of setting up an AI to randomly assign prices. P.S. Please bring back the Account Lifetime and Character Lifetime weapon pages (as in seeing all guns account or character lifetime.) While you're at it, get rid of the new menu system with the dropdown menu that sucks and go to the old sidebar.
  3. It is kinda' weird, since 30 is barely any missions at all, but we'll see I guess.
  4. This this include new characters on an account with high rank characters?
  5. Dunno'. Never really thought of the Carbine and N-TEC as similar in use though TBH.
  6. Plenty of off-meta guns are used: I didn't say the SR15 is not balanced because it's not meta: that's totally different than never seeing it used.
  7. Not sure I can agree the SR15 is the most balanced weapon in the game if I virtually never see anyone use it.
  8. Pistol Caliber Carbines and Carbines are kinda' different things though TBH. Oh, yeah, forgot to list the S1-NA in the list I put, though I did obviously mention it as an aside earlier in the post. Nope, the marksman rifle was by definition semi-auto until. . . well. . . until the SBSR happened. . . IDK what to call it, maybe carbine makes most sense, but intuitively it seems off to me at least. PDW doesn't really work, and I can't think of much else. In my head I've always just called them hybrid ARs or b.astard guns. (Yes, I'm avoiding the chat filter because it's for a legitimate use, as in "b.astard sword.") Neither of those names really work officially though, lol.
  9. The OSCAR or CR762, both are kinda' the opposite spectrum of the Marksman category and are insane in their own way. I'd like the SR15 to get a buff, IDK if bringing back its STK is the correct one, but I'd be willing to have it tried out.
  10. It's not really "clearly a carbine" if the South Korean military considers it and treats it as an SMG, so it's totally justified as being an classified as an SMG TBH. Additionally, it's a moot point since LO shouldn't put remeshes of guns in different categories than the original. If you'd wanted to make a more solid argument you should have picked on the S1-NA Manic. As I said, I'm not really against a new category, but I'd prefer we avoid the name "carbine," as its meaning has very little to do with what you're actually saying, several of the guns in the category would not be carbines, and many guns outside of the category would also be carbines. Guns in the category would likely include: ACES Rifle (an SMG) ATAC (an assault rifle/carbine) M-1922 (an SMG) Raptor 45 (an assault rifle/carbine) VAS-C2 (an assault rifle/carbine) Lastly though, I don't think this really makes sense ultimately. Sure, the ATAC and Raptor 45 are okay-ish from the hip, but they're not really. . . all that different from other assault rifles except that you shoot them full-auto more often. If we take the logic that the ATAC and Raptor are no longer assault rifles because they're good in CQC, then what about the COBR-A? The COBR-A is designed to often be fired from the hip (perhaps more-so than the ATAC and Raptor,) but I certainly wouldn't put it in a "carbine" class, even if it plays a little different from the other assault rifles. And does the LCR become a marksman rifle? What about the ISSR-a? Ultimately, I'm going to say this doesn't make any more sense than the current system. P.S. if you're not French, you might want to speak English and say "carbine."
  11. You told people to prove that there's a reason to use the SR15 when the OSCAR exists, not to prove that you should be using the SR15. Thus, since ease of use is subjective, as you have said, and I agree with, you're essentially agreeing with me that the main reason to use the SR15 carbine over the OSCAR is, in fact, ease of use. As for the "you won't hit the min TTK" thing, yes, you probably won't reach perfectly hit min-TTK very often, but a lower technical TTK on semi-auto guns makes it easier to reach a lower TTK in a practical setting. As for the "third less effort in terms of clicking and aiming," you can't have it both ways and say ease of use is subjective and then go and say lower STK guns are easier. Sure, you need to land fewer shots, but you're also way more screwed if you miss a shot. As you said, it's a trade-off and neither gun is objectively easier to use. Are you French? Also, no, at least not by the name "carbine." Let's not forget that at least half of the assault rifles in APB are carbines, E.G. the STAR, N-TEC, S1-FA, etc.. I'll agree that it's a category that in-practice exists in APB, which many SMGs and assault rifles fall into, but IDK if it's necessary or practical to officially introduce it as a category.
  12. The OSCAR is decidedly one of the best guns in the game, but I'm not sure I'd say it's very OP. I'd only nerf the gun after the OCA-EW, S1-NA Manic, and ISSR-B got nerfed. Unlike those three guns, the OSCAR doesn't effectively delete entire categories of guns while requiring nearly no skill to use. After those guns were nerfed, if the OSCAR felt like it stood out a ton, I'd accept a *small* nerf to the OSCAR, but overall I think it'd be better if some other guns like the SR15 Carbine got buffs instead (and obviously the JG and CSG got a rework or reverted.) Semi automatic guns have the same cyclical rate as fully automatic guns: the only difference is that they don't automatically fire at their maximum fire rate. Note that many guns have a full and semi-auto variant where the only difference is essentially the trigger pack. What about TTK and ease of use?
  13. An upgrade to the engine is necessary for the phasing system, but I do not believe the phasing system is coming with the EU.
  14. Yes, please unlock any weapon we buy from ARMAS for purchase from contacts. We get cars and clothes unlocked for purchase when we buy them, why not guns?
  15. AT LAST! I HAVE FINALLY TAKEN DOWN LITTLE ORBIT! MWAHAHAH! Hey, glad you're at least considering making more of the packs account bound. I know a lot of people didn't like them, but the Revelations and Juggernaut passes were some of my favorite ARMAS content simply for the fact that they gave so much stuff account bound, even if a lot of people thought they were super expensive (which is funny, because they really aren't expensive.) Honestly bro, give them a little slack.
  16. Did the attempt leave you scarred and deformed?
  17. @AsgerLund Someone just spoke heresy about you.
  18. They kinda' go between orange and yellow judging by google images. Matt's eyes IRL are more of a blue-grey as far as I can tell IRL. But that's enough of that. Starting to get a little too creepy for the forums.
  19. $20-25 or whatever it ends up being is fine. I personally don't want weapons to be cheap as dirt, just consistent. No, I actually want someone to lose their livelihood simply because they didn't spend enough time to make a character look like Matt. Sidenote: who was it that made a really good Matt Scott character in APB seconds after LO announced they bought APB?
  20. Cool to hear about the prices, I hope that works out well for everyone. Real talk though Matt: you need to fire whoever made that character of you. I don't care if you made it, whoever made it needs to be fired. It looks like a dragon. Like, really, it looks more like Smaug from the Hobbit movies than it looks like you.
  21. The last thing APB needs is more toxicity, I'mma say pass.
  22. I mean, I'd be happy to oblige, not sure why you'd want me though, lol. You know "Kewlin" is an enforcer BTW, right? You'd be killing "ViviViktoriya." Also, more importantly, IIRC randomly got to be KNickz' final kill for Gunslinger. Thought I took a screen or vid but I can't find it. Merged. Also, just FYI, I suck at APB, just in case you had imagined I'm somehow good at the game.
  23. I waited about three months on my last support ticket and they entirely ignored (or perhaps didn't understand) my question. It's an uphill battle my friend, good luck.
