Since no one at all was accused... your point is moot. No one brought evidence against anyone at all... the discussion was simply are there hacks for APB because the rabid deniers get ridiculous saying they don't exist. I've seen in-game what I think are shenanigans. That said I still stand by temp bans since perma bans all but destroyed this game the vast majority of which were false bans. I kinda wish we had a system like FF, that would temp kick players for being too good consistently. Not to spoil fun or anything, and not only for hacks, but even pros... if their performance was so off the scale of the average player to force them out of the trolled bronze district. Kinda would help matchmaking too if someone consistently performs above normal... he shouldn't get the option to call backup against a lowbie. Just, the way I envision it should be.

So, if a hack was used in 2012.... it's all been patched now and any new similar hacks could never possibly be reformulated. Dude what you're saying is the misinformation. The issue isn't these old vids or the guys in them... but to prove it is POSSIBLE for all those who say it isn't. And whether it's a HACK or an EXPLOIT or a MODDED FILE or a MOUSE DRIVER isn't really the point. If it's CLIENT-SIDED MODS that give them a visual advantage eliminating the bloom, then it's still a "cheat" which exists.

And btw, a dev has designed a game with certain parameters. We all know APB has wonky code... and pro hack developers alter it. I said I don't personally code hacks so I don't know for sure. I also said what I do know is that cheat programs for APB include what CHEAT COMPANIES sell what is advertised as: no recoil, no spread. The ISSUE of contention isn't that no recoil doesn't exist but whether NO SPREAD exists... please invest in the Phonics reading Comprehension program. And my point being... if a product is selling, and that's what's advertised... and multi-million dollar hack companies are not considered: stupid, morons, childish, naive, etc... but rather actually providing the service.... then SOMETHING of this nature must exist despite the silliest denials of the obvious. My other points being... naysayers claim hacks are really overblown,,, no one can really use no spread to make shaws, shotguns, ntecs have no bloom, and no recoil can't possibly exist to allow precision firing on full auto (not tap firing, but continuous full auto) in conjunction with the ever handy aimbot and triggerbot settings. I'm trying to ignore you because all you are saying is one huge rant of denial. And, it doesn't matter if it's 1. no-spread or no-recoil, or 2. macro or mouse software, or 3. exploit or bug. Shenanigans need to be better moderated, especially in a dramatically shrinking game population. Having GMs spectate randomly over time would be the best thing. Yes, players are biased so the company needs to get that game updated or have more GMs randomly in-game actively spectating. 4. And yes, I don't advocate permanent bans, they just create the rager reroll syndrome. A system of faster kicks out of game temporarily would make the active cheaters a lot more of a "short-term" encounter... a lot more livable solution then months long investigations where absolutely nothing at all is done.

And this proves? Are you saying there are no more speed hackers, for example simple because this is a video from 2015? APB continues to have the same vulnerable code and literally nothing has been done to change that simple fact... ergo, one does not need a PhD from Hackuversity to establish the plain and simple truth, that APB has bad code, a lot of vulnerabilities, exploits, and multiple hacks exist for it. Now we can debate until the cows come home whether the Russian guy in the video is legit or not. The only reason you aren't defending the video with Goat in it, is due to his extreme hacker notoriety... but had it been the same video but an unknown name, you would have defended it too. It's SIMPLE. APB is an old game, with vulnerable code for which hundreds of variations of cheats have been written for... tons of exploits have been found for... Most of us playing APB for awhile have seen or heard of a lot of shenanigans.... impossible shenanigans, whether or not the forum defenders deny it. if the aim is "consistently" too good.. If the gun being used is "consistently" too rapid in target acquisition, and too accurate from outside it's intended range... that is "likely" an aimbot. Why attack players for the "reasonable" suspicion? Oh wait, yeah right because, we're all MORONS... but the players who have gotten away with cheating for years and dumpster fire'd this whole game... are the pros.

Your claim is I'm wrong to say there are cheats? Are u serious? 1. I'm pretty confident the Russian video shows a triggerbot, esp the accuracy at the distances he was firing which are pretty darn hard and rare without a cheat. Do you really think it's helpful to be so biased in this convo as to claim "no one is cheating?" 2. No spread has been claimed by hack sites and is part of their cheat package. People "floating and flying in the air" are also supposed to not be a thing, but MrEpicGoat did it in Social.

I've been playing this game a long, long time. Note the date this forum account was made. In that time I've seen a lot of cheaters come and go, and read a number of forum discussions on the subject. Hack companies have a multi-million dollar industry and created... over several years... multiple hacks, cheats, mods, etc. for APB... and some who wrote their own. Personal attacks against me do not extinguish the obvious... APB has had working hacks for a long, long time. Do you think those all went away? Anyway it seems the only people allowed to be degraded and insulted now are anyone who believes some people use cheats and dare to say so... but it's such a bad thing to call someone a "cheater" cos bad for the game... and cheats aren't bad for the game? I don't know how cheats work? Well there are a few things someone cheating with a shotgun can use to gain advantage... aimbot or triggerbot obviously, no recoil/no spread. Oh wait, I'm a MORON right? I just need to git gud. No one hacks in this game that was infested with hackers since RTW days. the only sin is to say so. I was playing on Jericho when a GM formally came to the district and announced everyone should stop hacusations. Well, I hadn't been hacusating however was at the time playing, what certainly appeared to me to be a clan group of cheaters (who shall remain nameless). I whispered the GM to come to me and see what I was seeing. The clan group won by a large margin over a basically equal group. I mean those shotguns that hit you from a ways down the street and kill you before an n-tec kinda cheats. Anyways, the GM said nothing at all and left the mission, but before leaving district warned us all to use the "report" system and not to make hacusations. 1. There would be a lot less hacusations if there was a lot less shenanigans going on. 2. Eliminating hacusations doesn't make the game more appealing. People likely hacusate because nothing is being done and they're frustrated. 3. Until there's an engine and file upgrade, the many hundreds of old coded hacks are not going to go away. As long as there's a BE bypass, some will cheat. IN short, bullying the legit playerbase (and I'm not saying everyone accused is hacking... but if a couple are... then the playerbase is going to be paranoid with reason.... bullying the playerbase to "pretend it ain't so" is NOT the solution. You just alienate what's left.

No it isn't... but it's a step in the right direction to closing the easily modified and manipulated game code.... and slowing down the hackfest the game has been in for years now with outdated, and well known code.

Firesales were a blast... and free codes /w free premium so we could not pay and still make leet designs.

If you're doing that badly, you can always revert to the bronze districts and be the savior of nooblets.

Why disable guns that everyone is able to freely access... which are niche guns that do very well, but that other guns are better at in other niche situations... I mean just WHY? A PMG or shotty still beats an Ntec at CQC... and if you run in the face of an HVR user (if he doesn't have a nano) your PMG will own him too.
