  1. Hello Matt. I highly appreciate the work of your team and the complexity of production at the moment . I ask you first of all to pay attention to . - Why hasn't Little Orbit fixed the Matchmaking system? / Threat needs to go back to the way it was / De-threaters . give us more information about ongoing and planned projects .this will show the openness of the company and the project . it is possible to consider the openness of banned accounts on FairFight and BattlEye ?
  2. 1 LO made unlocked 17,000 accounts : without asking honest players 2 LO closed the openness of banned accounts : now we don't know who our scammers are 3 LO made a new site and a new forum : I have not yet figured out the site , but on the forum I'm not comfortable , I don't see any work of the moderators in addition to the bans , a lot of duplicate queries left unanswered . 4 LO made began to break the bags of things sold in the store Armas and sell them separately 5 LO made a new sales system directly through the characters bypassing the auction : I don't see any creditworthy customers . therefore, the auction is for me a more reliable way to sell legendary weapons even if I take 25% of the sale . 6 LO made have done two events - the game with the streamers on the server of the Citadel and the Event Faceoff withMattScott Play with Devs do over on Jericho 9/17 4pm PT : in both cases, Luo faced problems, I can not consider them successful . 7 Lo made the rebalancing and test weapons : doubtful action, loss of the necessary working time, even if it was done with a plan for the future it could be made more interesting and attractive . example of 2016 8 Xan server transfer : the migration of characters was great . select server to transfer characters is questionable . 9 LO made a new spawning system for players : everything works fine .5 of 5 10 Maybe LO signed a contract to open an office in London . I'm not saying that The command LITTLE ORBIT does not work ! that was made by a team at the highest level and worthy of admiration .
  3. let's remember our history and what the founder said David Jones, creative Director and founder of Realtime Worlds . You’ve showed characters carjacking, being chased and ultimately being arrested, but that’s not the entire APB experience, is it? No. We have many, many different things you can do. So that was a car chase. We have on-foot chases – a game’s not really done it well before. And it’s not just about trying to kill the other guy. We have arrest mechanics in there; we have witness mechanics in there so you can actually stay back and witness people doing wrong things. You can be quite stealthy in the game. There are loads of mechanics and when real people understand them, they’ll be able to concoct all these different scenarios and become very sneaky. You may think you’ve made sure there’s nobody around before you commit a crime, but you’d be surprised how sneaky people can be. It just introduces the kind of stuff AI could never do because people are damn smart. And that’s what’s really emerging for me from the game – like setting roadblocks in advance. People get to know other people in this game and they go: “I know this guy’s routes. I know where he likes to drive.” And we’ve got voice-over-IP, so you’ve got one guy going: “I’ll go down the street – tell me when he’s coming and I’ll quickly nip out in front of him.” It’s stuff that, in terms of AI, you’d probably make a whole game out of that and it would be the big selling feature of the game, but it just pales into insignificance compared to real people doing all that stuff. So when we say players as content, we mean as the game content. As well as creating content, I mean that’s a big part of it, but it’s really about them being the core of the game. You’ve said that APB could be played in singleplayer, but it’d still be an MMOG, yes? Yeah. There’s no kind of singleplayer storyline. You can go in and say, “Well, I want to become the number one person – because celebrity’s a big thing about the game,” or, “I want to achieve the highest ever threat rating,” or, “I want the most kills ever on this server, and I’m just going to do it solo.” There are lots of what I call anti-social online gamers [laughs]. So it caters to everyone. You’ve said that, when you formed Realtime, you built a relationship with Microsoft to get ‘next-gen console experience’ – aren’t you throwing that away by making APB for PC? No. I mean, there’s a lot of next-gen stuff in terms of graphics, pipelines and technology. It’s just not next-gen console, it’s next-gen gaming. At some point I’d like it to be applicable to console. We’ve always said that. We haven’t made any decisions, but it would be great at some point. If APB’s a success, obviously that’s one of the first things. It’s the kind of game that would work well on console but we’re just not at that stage yet. First of all we’ve got to make it a success, and understand what people love about it, understand what things would change if we wanted to go console, if anything, and then take it from there. G 1 implemented the game on the console PS4 and XBox New Hybrid Skill Rating System In order to create more-balanced PvP gameplay, APB Reloaded is transitioning from a straight win-loss system to a skill-based hybrid rating system, sourced from several proven skill rating algorithms such as ELO and Glicko. This new skill-based hybrid rating system aims to better reflect all gamers' actual skill levels when compared to the opponents they defeat. "From the start of the development of APB Reloaded last fall our focus has been to remove obstacles preventing players from having fun. While our development and design teams have done an amazing job improving driving, shooting, skill ratings, witnessing and other key elements of the game, I am also thrilled with the changes slated to be released during the latter part of open beta," said Bjorn Book-Larsson, Chief Operating Officer for GamersFirst and CEO of Reloaded Productions Ltd. "We expect APB Reloaded to set a new bar for what is possible to achieve in a free to play MMO game, and the open beta represents another big step in that direction." Eurogamer: Presumably you're having to talk them out of the rules that they have, because you've got to have your own server technology. David Jones: Absolutely. So it has to be something that everybody wants to do, where everybody's clear on what we can do and what we can't do. So there are a lot of issues like that where we said, let's just make one, make it great, get all the issues out of the way. It'll also need a fair bit of redesign as well I think. Eurogamer: A lot of the things I've read and heard about APB are fun moment-to-moment systems: customisation, the notoriety system, the dynamic match-making that gives players missions to fight each other. But what's the long-term goal for your players? Even Call of Duty has experience and levelling now. Even an action game has to have that. David Jones: And we do. Every player has a rating, and I've seen players with a rating of 200-plus. And that surprises me because that is one of those stats that shows how much of the game they've consumed. How many contacts they've successfully worked for, how many items they've unlocked in the game. We have daily, weekly, monthly leagues for many, many things in the game. And you have the traditional things like kill-to-death ratios, the most cars stolen, for Enforcers how many people they've arrested. Arresting is an interesting mechanic for Enforcers because they can just kill people within a mission, but they can also arrest them. It's quite a bit harder to do, but for some very organised clans, as you can imagine, that's a very prestigious league to win. And the rewards scale based upon those leagues. It's very competitive. clans and gold players play in bronze district . solo game is disabled participate in team Alliance for an open mission . Team Alliance attempts to group multiple team together when standard missions . NOTE: if you are a solo player , this is the default behaviour and cannot be disabled .
  4. Last Updated Aug 26, 2018 11:20 PM EDT Two people were killed and 11 others injured when a gunman opened fire Sunday at a popular waterfront mall in Jacksonville, Florida, where a video game tournament was being held. Graphic recordings from the scene captured gunshots ringing out and the screams of terrified patrons taking cover. David Katz, 24, of Baltimore, Maryland, is believed to be the gunman, Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said. Katz used a single handgun to carry out the shooting and died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, he said. Williams described Katz as a white male who was attending the gaming event. He did not know if Katz knew the victims. Nine others were wounded by gunfire and two others were injured as they fled the shooting, Williams said. They are all in stable condition. The tournament for "Madden NFL 19" players was being held at the GLHF Game Bar, which shares space with a restaurant. The bar told CBS News in a Facebook message that all staff members and the owner were able to escape "untouched." Fast Facts: A shooting broke out at a "Madden NFL 19" tournament 3 were killed, including the gunman 11 injured: 9 with gunshot wounds, 2 fleeing the scene Suspect identified as David Katz, 24, from Baltimore, Maryland A motive for the shooting wasn't immediately clear Gunshots can be heard in recordings from the tournament on the bar's Twitch account, which was streaming the competition. Williams said investigators were reviewing the footage as evidence and encouraged the public to turn in any additional videos that could help with the investigation. Williams said the FBI is assisting with the investigation in Baltimore. Investigators believe Katz may have stayed in a hotel during the event. Williams said authorities have impounded Katz's vehicle and plan to search it for evidence. Late Sunday night, the FBI said heavily armed agents had entered the family home of the suspect. Dave Fitz told The Associated Press that agents went to the upscale townhouse home of the man's father in Baltimore, but didn't release any further information, citing the ongoing investigation. The AP reports that agents could be seen inside the home near Baltimore's Inner Harbor wearing bulletproof vests and carrying long guns. Reporters at the scene did not see any authorities carrying any bags of evidence outside. Drini Gjoka, who was competing in the event, tweeted about the shooting in the immediate aftermath. "The tourney just got shot up. Im leavinng [sic] and never coming back," he wrote at 1:37 p.m. Four minutes later, he added that a bullet struck him in the thumb, and later called Sunday the "worst day of my life." "I will never take anything for granted ever again. Life can be cut short in a second," he said. There were 150 people involved in the two-day event, including players and spectators. Players were competing for a chance to play in the final round in Las Vegas. "This is your chance to earn your spot in the first Major's Live Finals happening in October 2018," the Facebook page for the event reads. "Don't hesitate to secure your spot!" Florida Gov. Rick Scott, who was traveling to Jacksonville, tweeted that he offered state resources to the local law enforcement. His office said the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Florida Highway Patrol were assisting in the investigation. EA Sports said it was aware of the shooting and is working with authorities to gather information. "This is a horrible situation, and our deepest sympathies go out to all involved," the company said. "Our focus right now is on those affected, and supporting law enforcement as they continue their investigation into this crime." The NFL issued a statement saying it was "shocked and deeply saddened by the horrific tragedy" in Jacksonville. "We support our partners at EA Sports and will continue to monitor developments with local law enforcement." Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a statement Sunday, "Congress must stop stalling and act to protect Americans from the gun violence epidemic, and ensure no other family or community has to endure this unspeakable pain. Every day it fails to act is a stain on our nation." https://www.cbsnews.com/news/jacksonville-florida-mass-shooting-today-multiple-dead-including-suspect-jacksonville-landing-madden-19-tournament-live-updates/
  5. old, unbanned cheaters should not have been on common servers .
  6. I see the topic of the question !ShadowXS : the APB Reloaded it's the adult version of the uncle , we can go triple identification for proof of age .we have money, we are tired after work and sat down for an hour or two to play . I don't want to play against gold and clan players in the bronze districts .
  7. you not understand ? I don't see any improvement in gameplay or game dynamics or increase in the number of players . is that clear? patches-do one thing break two . tomorrow will show clearly .
  8. That's possible. need to think .
  9. the game was playable all 8 years . the problem with the loss of customers and losses of the company is solved by one solution - to remove GOLD from silver and bronze areas . Gold Districts Suck Started by Strongzata, Feb 26 2012 07:04 PM Gold Districts are No Fun they either have one of the fallowing things Clan Groups - very hard to deal with randoms pub groups Macro Jokers - common as hell the nerf didnt do much either Ghosters - all the freaking time i get griefed by out of mission by clan mates or just douche bags in trucks Aim Botters- Rare to find these days but they still out there. Uneven matchs - typicaly out numbered or out ranked groups example 2Gold 3Silver Enforcers Vs 5 Gold Criminals. Osmaw Trolls - Alot of missions and finals end up being at least one noob with a rocket. Every time i play gold districts i get angry pissed and lose any fun i was having due to one of these or more in each mission. if you dont pick a gold district you lose money which is stupid. i just want good fair even matched missions i dont want to fight a bunch of try hards using macros and ghosters to help them win. If i play in lower districts i have more fun and i try to help low enforcers alot of the time i offer help and no takes it. im not looking to fight hordes of noobs thats not fun or challenging. Sucks being stuck as perma gold 195 enforcer the system makes it out that im a super awesome player that can take on anyone and thats not the case, i should be a high silver on the old ranking system i was about a 10 out a 15. the new system SUCKS and most of the time i cant get back up or when i do its useless or AFK. Yeah Rant Rage Troll w/e i know im not the only one who noticed this.
