  1. Wow, ok. You want a competitive game? How about disabling all other players and vehicles that are not in a mission? How about forcing everyone to use the same weapons and cars? How about removing all missions except kills only? How about removing everything that is fun about an open world pvp game?
  2. It really did indeed. There is already a rewards for killing a player that is on a kill streak so the way how it works now is much of the same. Yeah, poor guy. Dying once while completely dominating the enemy team. Clearly worth complaining about.
  3. I just wonder what is even the point of testing it 3 times especially when no one joins those districts. Just make a backup, put it live for a week and see how everyone reacts.
  4. Srsly, this was such a stupid move. Now is much harder to complete bounty mission and you get no help from outside when getting stomped too. Nice. It should be at least possible to see the bounty on the radar for the people in the mission.
  5. I mean there will obviously need to be alternative for the enforces as well, though I am unsure if that could even be worked into the story at all. The best way this could work is just having mash up from both factions in a team but unfortunately that throws the whole idea of the game out of the window. Seems like the game design is shooting itself in the foot all the time.
  6. It is still odd design choice not having it under control. They should bring that back. Big part of the reason for bad matchmaking is the faction lock.
  7. I woudl prefer just preventing the mission from starting until there are players on both sides. I still don't understand why you are allowed to start a mission without opposition especially when you gain nothing from completing it and even if you wait, it is a free first round.
  8. Normally that is the way to go. When you have small playerbase and it is split between servers, the most logical thing to do is put them together so they have others to play with. However, in APB's case, having all these different ranks in one place is probably just as damaging because, lets face it - it will just make people leave. Not just be isolated on other servers but leaving completely. The game is probably losing players even when we speak right now. During the weekend I started asking myself "Why I am even still here? is this even fun if trying makes no difference?" There is just nothing to do. Then I remembered the new servers are on its way so I guess that is something. It will be still bad but a bit more bearable.
  9. Yeah, the thread segregation will definitely make more people willing to come back (assuming they know about and still care enough for the game)
  10. The game needs a better system but putting everyone in one place is just wrong. Yes, veterans buy stuff but they won't be playing the game forever + they are the ones who already have bought most of the things they need. Even if they do play forever they can burn out on the game and play something else for months before deciding to come back (and they won't do that all at the same time so the game will be lacking players). The game needs to appeal to new and returning players and by just putting everyone in one place it will have the opposite effect.
  11. And for how long? How long do you think the lower ranks will let you stomp them before they quit the game all together? Yes you will have people to play with for a while but you are also killing the remaining playerbase in the process even faster.
  12. How is it more different now when you have everyone put together? They don't even have to dethreat. This is what kind of crap I am getting daily even when there are 3 and a half servers full.
  13. Depends on the game. Team heavy oriented games have very toxic communities by default but the rest aren't like that.
  14. Agree. It is not perfect but it is not horrible either. My only issue is there is no way to know if ally or an enemy is firing the shots so you have to be looking at the radar all the time (which kinda takes away from the experience and it could be solved with traces)
  15. or download .net framework 4.8 manually and install it.
  16. Player count in districts is indeed problematic even when there are enough players. I feel like the best way to go will be to remove server select and just have the game maintaining server space based on skill level proportional to player count (not necessarily limited to exact thread). However that will have to be a completely new system.
  17. Eh? There is always at least 1 server for each threat active at the time. Also if anything there are more golds and silvers than bronze players active. Oh, and another thing. Even if they remove it during low hours, even less people will have reason to play during that time.
  18. Yes, I know and I also know it is too late for it as well considering the player count. My first post in this thread was exactly about that. After all, they even started unbanning hackers at one point just to keep the player count.
  19. It is actually scary that people take this as the norm. Yeah, I get it. People do that in games. The difference is, some communities does it more than others and gets the label of being toxic for that matter.
  20. I haven't played in years and i haven't lost anything but grats whatever the issue was.
  21. They are not real people. It is part of the game world. When you watch movies with slurs, do you go outside and insult random people on the street that you never met before? try it sometimes. Lets see how long will take before getting beaten up or jailed... and don't forget to tell them to just ignore 4head.
  22. Well this seems about right for the most part but is going to be useful only if the weapon is currently out of stock or there is only 1 on the market at that moment.
  23. ESRB rating is meant to evaluate the game content, not player's interactions. It doesn't give you any rights to insult others.
