Honestly Im not sure why your thread was deleted. I dont remember your thread, but going through the forum rules it doesnt look like it would have broken any.

 

In any case, Lixil or one of her mods should have sent you a message explaining the "why" of it all. Did you check your messages?

Plus, pretty sure renaming a company would require a lot of legal paper work (Such as transfer of rights, renegotiating contracts, taxes etc.). Ontop of that they might be required to republish games, either because of law or because of policy on platforms owned by other companies. Like Steam, PlayStation, XBox etc. But I am not sure on that, but it's a most likely scenario. Then theres other factors like brand recongition, regardless of reputational status, that you'd be throwing away.

i’m not sure this is correct tbh, afaik gamers first is just the name of the portal/website

 

really though with how straightforward orbit is, do people really think they haven’t thought through a rebranding and weighed it against costs/effort?

G1 didn't really remove all connections to RTW... when you start the game you will see a Real time worlds productions logo, that is if you didn't remove the ingame movies

Wether LO dissolves G1 or not everyone is going to give LO the credit as their the parent company and the ones making the decisions. G1 is basically just here now like Bungie is just here but its Microsoft calling all the shots.

Well they still exist but under LO,so i don't think they can remove all of their traces ,but maybe i'm wrong.

RTW closed down and the game bought by G1. All traces were still removed

that's why i am saying thye might not chane it because,g1 still exist in as a company in the records but it's just under LO ownership,it didn't close down.But it's just my speculation.
