Delay When Swapping Weapon In Hand

Basically as it stands now (and has been since forever) you can swap ur weapon between ur left and right hand without any delay which mitigates any bloom. In reality if you swap hands your going to have a 3-5 sec delay before you can fire. There needs to be a delay in firing your gun when swapping hands so this isnt abused as certain guns benefit from this over others.

if you want to be realistic, why would someone switching from their primary weapon to a handgun (which is typically in a holster on someone's waist) take 5 seconds?

 

 

random search show results from forums stating that them drawing their pistols takes on average roughly more than a second but less than two.

Nope, im talking about swapping the weapon from ur right hand to ur left and vice versa. To swap hands, reaim and pull the trigger would take 3-5 sec depending on the weapon. Obv snipers would take the most time and pistols the least.

There IS a delay....  The amount of time of said delay is dependent on what you're swapping too.  

 

Swapping from an HVR to a Nano will be extremely fast, whereas going from a Nano to HVR will take a few seconds.

3-5 seconds is a long time to swap firing hands unless you're in prone, and there's no prone in game.

swapping your weapon from hand to hand gives you no advantage. it just looks hilarious.

Ive seen where ppl r actually firing slightly faster while doing so and the bloom is less with the starter pistol. Theres an advantage there that some ppl use and its only certain weapons.

You dont understand... tricking hit box and character animations switching hands while firing (which can be made irl but this is a game so it doesnt matter) is not an advantage. Specially to people that plays with ping.

I remember someone claiming this several years back.  It may seem like they're firing faster, but it actually doesn't do jack-shit.

it actually has no effect, and theres nothing a player can do to alter the rof of any weapon past what the server allows

swapping hands doesnt trick the hitbox into doing anything, because swapping hands doesnt affect the hitbox
