Before continuing, I have no idea if this method of extracting APB models is SARD safe. I have tested it on Linux, but not on Windows. I have very little experience with 3D rendering and using Linux. These are the steps I took to get it working, but there's probably a better way. I found an application called RenderDoc. It can be used to capture frames through Vulkan. https://renderdoc.org/ https://github.com/baldurk/renderdoc 1. Install APB through Steam. 2. Install Ge-Proton as a compatibility tool. I use GE-Proton9-10. - More detailed info in this thread: 5. In General, set the the Launch Options to "ENABLE_VULKAN_RENDERDOC_CAPTURE=1 %command%" without the quotes. 6. In Compatibility, check in "Force the use ..." and select GE-Proton9-10. 7. Install RenderDoc. I followed this guide and installed it to "/opt/RenderDoc", but it can be installed anywhere: https://theanswers42.com/2020/08/21/installing-renderdoc-on-linux-the-road-to-happiness/ 8. Open RenderDoc. I just used the terminal command "qrenderdoc" 9. Launch APB by clicking the play button on Steam. 10. Once in the Lobby, go back to RenderDoc. Click File > Attach to Running Instance, and select Wine64-preloader. 10. On the Lobby, you should see the RenderDoc UI on the top left. If not, RenderDoc is not running, and you'll need to troubleshoot. 11. Join Social and go to a customization kiosk. Once loaded into the kiosk, try capturing a frame by pressing F12 or Print Screen. 12. In RenderDoc, click File > Open Capture. Open the capture file /tmp/wine64-preloader_randomnumbers.rdc 13. If successful, you should now see a list of processes on the Event Browser. For me, the character model and textures are located under "Color Pass #3" 14. To save the textures and meshes, go to the Texture tab and click the little save button. It's the floppy disk. Do the same on the Meshes tab. Now you should be able to import the models to your favorite 3D model editor. Blender can import CSV files, but I'm not sure about other app capabilities.

Hey @Tiawanna I had some issues with the game running on ssd a long time ago. but this was rectified. So I can confirm that the game does work on Sata3 SSD's and M.2's but it might be a compatibility issue with m.2 storage devices deepening variables. Iv not heard of this issue with APB though. A game or be it launcher shouldn't and can not remove a storage device with out the OS knowing about it. that said i cant view your images. reupload them on another service. I could list a bunch of possible theories to why an m.2 would be dropped by a system, but they are just theories,. for an m.2 to require being physically removed from a system is extreme.. I would defiantly question how it is installed with the bios, how the OS environment sees the M.2, M.2 are designed to be a Single installation item, (installed and not removed) (not a removable storage device) also so you know .. This is the nature of forums, people will just view the thread, if they have nothing to add then they wont. unless you want to view a ton of useless comments. Unfortunately APB isn't as active nor have the support team it used to. Normal Tech support we would request the following . Note that the first part you have already done. So how is anyone supposed to complete the event if the event district is only active for afew hrs at most given how uninterested ppl are in epidemic. You have dailies for the event on an 8hr cooldown and due to the server only being active for afew hrs during the night its a 24hr wait to do the next daily once you get to rank 4 for epidemic (2 dailies to advance from then on). Did anyone at LO stop and think this through or did you just decide to throw an unpopular event out in hopes ppl would settle? Youd need another week of this event going if you were to have a chance to rank the role fully in its current state.

i could say this... Alot of situations is just crap servers that cant handle 20v20 players properly or server is chooking on more then 40 players in 1 district... i saw literally my friend teleporting on my screen while on his stream he was walking smoothly and had 23-27ms ping... and 33ms to the server... ON THE OTHER HAND: i started to look into this for some time now and i could easly say that some of those "cases" are literally cheaters that never miss whatever you do you ned to gang on them 3v1 or 2v1 if you are lucky... they prepare in advance seeing you from behind a building (im not talking about corner peaking... im talking literally through a building...) so yea... more about the cheats if you want a proof go to youtube type "apb cheats" and go to filters on the right side then select "this week" you will see at last 4 videos there its most likely more then ppl make about game itself... i will see how the halloween goes (i still can get around some of the cheaters but not multihackers all seeing mlg godlike creatures) but if it will keep happening i wont buy anything from the store anymore... (and i spent alot of $ on the store on this one account...) i saw that LO and SARD is doing manual labor now with the bans so i would kindly recomend to enable it fully annd start with 24h banning if someone is suspicious just kick him out for a day that will ease ppl more then what is happening now... (this last lines are an idea for you to consider @MattScott thanks...)

Fresh windows install Fresh APB installation was working yesterday (launched it once) now it doesnt want to start it says "Not responding" and is stuck on this no configs has beed used except advanced apb launcher...

I can understand with the games age and income that paying for a high end AC is not viable. For one there should be no way a player could access files of the game to alter them. I think if game cheating/hacking is so hard to combat. Then Why not do what the voice in the game trailer says. 'We Need People Who are willing to fight fire with fire' Provide me with a save download of aim and movement cheats, that are safe for my system and safe or non taxing to the server. Charge me a fee. Give Me full Sanction. Trash your AC dont pay for one. Make Premium not Free anymore and charge for it. Make your cheat to go along with premium or a premium plus version with the cheats. Don't make it a snap aim or full bot, just something like Smooth aim or Aim Assist. So Not only do you give legit players a way to fight back, you make money doing it. So maybe it's not as good as 3rd party, but it's legal. I can almost guarantee revenue will spike. Not only will you get the angry legits to buy in, but dissuade current 3rd party users from using 3rd party cheats, if they can get legal cheats from LO keeping the account safe.

Well considering that multiple people can message GMs on Discord with video proof of people actively hacking, while theyre posting in chat or replying to the DMs, while the same said cheater can be topof the FC leaderboard for two weeks... I think its safe to assume LO is doing nothing about cheaters. Even searching APB Reloaded on youtube you get a multitude of cheat client results and all at the same time that people who stream themselves cheating while going unpunished. Call me a conspiracy theorist but I mean shit dude, they even unbanned the dude who is actively developing and selling the main go to cheat client so Im more than convinced at this point that LO supports it. God forbid if you talk about it though, They'll actually do something about that.

As the tittle says, the game simply wont start, i restarted playing apb like 2 weeks ago and have been playin pretty much daily a few games, well yesterday i played and today when i try to go to play chaos happens, launcher open ups as usual, click start, SARD pops ups, fades away, then game shutdowns i have ran it has admin i have done the c+++ 2012 thing i have reinstalled restarted the pc tried to check cache on steam and couldnt alltho 2 of my other to friends cant either but the game starts normally if anyone has any clue or help they can give, thanks

If you have a Steam account you can try downloading it there. If you don't have your Steam account linked to G1 account, launch the game using the launcher, or the APB.exe instead of clicking play in Steam.

I cannot download the game via APB launcher. Launcher says ERROR when the game is almost downloaded, on last 50 MB from 4 GB. I tried to download on 3 different PCs, and every time same error. HELP ME please, I want to comeback to APB.

There is already a list out there of all the cheaters, their alt accounts etc... But you have to ask the question, why no name and shame. Its done in other enviroments, such as crime, competitions, sports etc... This is why i say its a very safe enviroment for cheaters and the silence only cultivates more cheating. Here is the hard truth....... LO are way too soft with cheaters and cheaters know this. The general understanding is, its worth cheating. Mathematically its worth cheating, you make much more money its a lot more fun and you can flex as much as you want, your name will never be on a list of banned cheaters (officially) . All of this outweighs the risk of a banning. If they are banned they have multiple other accounts that they will move across to and wait to get their main account back. At this moment in time there are way too many pro's to cheating then to not cheating. Non Cheaters wont have as much fun will win less wont make as much money will level up much slower will be abused by other players wont make a name for themselves will play another game Cheaters will have a lot more fun will make a name for themselves will monitarily make money streaming will look good streaming will win more games will level up faster will get legendaries faster dont have to worry about getting called out for cheating will get their account back if banned

So me and a friend have the same issue. Played fine last night. Now tonight when we load the game and join and a district we can play fine but if we hit Esc and click on return to lobby the game starts to load and then crashes to desktop shortly after with no error messages. No configs or crosshair overlays. Repair game with launcher. Updated graphics drivers. Uninstall and reinstall the game. With steam and without steam. Using the laucher etc. Nothing works to stop it. Anyone else same issue?

Can you try to reset your router? Some advanced settings on your router, like Quality of Service (QoS), might help prioritize gaming traffic. Try to also update your firmware to the latest version. https://www.tp-link.com/ph/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-ax1500/

This is just a player venting who REALLY LOVES this game and is seeing it get worse every day because of TERRIBLE management. It's clear they don't care about our APB Reloaded at all. There are so many mistakes happening one after another, it’s impossible not to see that you’re wrecking the best, and actually the ONLY game that hasn’t been replaced because there’s nothing else like it in terms of gameplay and customization. For me and many others, it’s UNIQUE. I’ve never seen a shooter game that has this amazing feature you have but don’t know how to MANAGE. It’s clear you’re too incompetent to admit you don’t care about APB Reloaded anymore. If you actually wanted to revive the game, you’d be doing something about it. It’s crazy that a game that runs on almost every computer isn’t getting any visibility, and it’s not getting any because there’s zero marketing. Even if APB got some visibility again, people would quickly quit due to frustration when playing against us veterans who’ve been around for 10 years and know almost everything about the game. If you really wanted to keep APB alive, you’d need to make big changes, like fixing the MMR system and getting rid of the useless gold, silver, and bronze tiers that don’t work and just frustrate new players. And let’s talk about Advanced Launcher tweaks – not all players know about them, but they can give us huge advantages. For instance, I play without flashes and smoke from the game, which helps a lot, and new players would never get these tips and would quit right away. Even if you invested in all of this, you wouldn’t be able to invest in a GOOD anti-cheat system to stop the constant complaints about hackers in the game chat. Since I came back to play, I’ve only seen 2 cheaters who were really obvious and teleporting around. I’m not whining or anything, just trying to open the eyes of the community that still plays out of love for the game. Yes, I’m a South American player with 160ms latency, and I want to let all NA players reading this know: without SA players, YOU WOULDN’T HAVE AN APB SERVER. Thank us for sticking with something we really like. And wake up, SA players – we’ll never get a proper server or see APB become a well-known game again because this company is a total failure.

Hello everyone Last time I used my laptop was for playing APB a couple days ago. Today, when I run it again, was trying to yet again play APB but after I press "play" button in launcher - nothing happens. Tried fresh reinstalling the game on another drive since I wanted to do this long time ago, but no result. After I checked game logs I found out that SARD can not initialise and game closes. Hello, ive recently acquired a pc that is quite trash, and whenever i launch my game thru steam it doesnt do anything but close the app. i downloaded the advanced launcher and i cant launch from it either because i am getting these 4 popups everytime i try to launch from the advanced launcher. any way to fix that issue?? https://files.fm/u/3f4f9p537b

Constant disconnections during missions, sometimes everything is normal, and sometimes every mission, it feels like disconnections on purpose, so that the other came into the zone, as they are all full. And I am not the only one, there are several other acquaintances who have the same situation. And also, it's been more than 2 weeks since I wrote about my problem with launching the Launcher in raztech bugs and problems. still waiting to be checked by moderators...........

Question : When you took over you, unbanned cheaters, dropped FFBans, classed hackusating as griefing and gave non cheaters absolutly no feedback on bans etc..... Creating an extremly frustrating enviroment for your customers, whilst simultanusly creating a quiet/safe enviroment for cheaters to get away with their cheats and making cheating as normal as buying a gun in arma's. How will you approach cheating to appease the playerbase of non cheaters, or to discourage players not to go down the buying cheats route ? Answered somewhat

We have just deployed a fix for this - Please open your Launcher to get updated to the newest files and then try through the APB.exe again.
