Today I logged into the game, saw that I needed to disconnect a friend and saw the inscription "your account is not allowed to trade" Why could this happen, and what should I do?

Oh my god I think I figured it out! It looks like I have 2 accounts for some reason - one of those is original that I created when I first bought the game (before reloaded) and it got migrated into gamersfirst and doesn't have link to steam, and the other one - is when APB Reloaded went to steam and I played on it too. So now I guess the question is - how to make the original account linked to the Steam? Should I delete the other account and change the email on my original one to the email I use for steam? Would it work?

I changed my password twice for Gamersfirst account and never had error, only prompt to type new password when I tried to login through Steam. This is bizzare. If you have time to kill, I would recommend clean reinstall of APB first. Doesn't hurt to try.

Umm... I've got a steam version of the game and when I start it there is a steam login button but when I press it, it gives me an error "PASSWORD EXPIRED." (error code 11002). It says to change my password for gamersfirst account, but after I changed it it didn't do anything, the error is still there.

That's strange. Last time I was linking Steam account it basically just ask you for e-mail and password to link. And that's it. F2A is checked upon login. Unless you need to first unlink account. In this case you need support because not a single dev though of such simple feature in-game...

No, unfortunately I used different emails for my account here and Steam.

It takes until support gets off there fat lazy asses to do it. or if you used the same email as your steam account you should be able to just go ahead and do it.

Someone asleep at the keyboard when they're creating these marketplace items for sale or what's going on? lol Game matchmaking gets broken so gold's can't even get missions and sit for 30 minutes or longer not to even play, and now this type of extortion. The Quality control for this game is unreal, first a new car Mirage S-24 gets released broken, put on the marketplace for people to purchase, then the same car gets injected into the game's regular civilian cars to use, screwing people who bought the car out of their purchases. Does anyone really think about their decisions before pulling the trigger on this stuff, or is QA just out the window?

So what I'm about to say is not aimed at you directly. But as a whole its reflective of many people. Don't take it personally. To be fair it's not BE or EAC fault. People have become to ignorant (I say this politely) to the fact that "PC's / Computers" are all different. Be it house to house, and even country. They make a game or application to work to a set standard. Os version and hardware. Which is why they publish a "required minimum spec" to play a game, even at this spec there is "**" due to the minimum spec that the game was tested too. . It would be impossible for a games house (Devs) to test a game to every single possible variant of hardware and then again with every variant of os with updates and then all over again with every variant of antivirus and again with every.. . You see we're that's going.. it would be millions of variants to test. This is were if you as a person that doesn't want to bother with trouble shooting fixing etc to your own pc then get a console. That really is the simple answer. By all accounts any game launched on console should work on the console 100% with out failure and thus if it doesn't a refund should be awarded as its faulty. With "pc" this isn't so as you are knowing buying or signing up to a game what is not guaranteed to work for your sole "pc". Pc gaming community is and has always been about: knowing, understanding or learning the computer you built or bought and trouble shooting to correct or fix an issue. Educating your self and getting a sense of pride/achievement. Some people don't want to which is totally fine. Doesn't make it the companies fault. To many people now expect something to work or for someone else to find/make the fix and expect it to be over night. I would 90% of the APB players have no issues relation to what you do. So that says LO BE or EAC has no issues.

Im guessing you can't merge both Xbox and PlayStation accounts on the same PC account? Since Xbox works fine but my PS4 account I don't see the option for it. Unless it isn't ready yet then I'll wait.

Has anyone been able to migrate their PS4 account to PC? The migration button does not show up when signing in to the Gamersfirst website. it worked fine for Xbox for me, and we are a week past February 1st. So I'm just wondering if it was delayed due to an issue or if it just doesn't recognize I have characters since I created the characters a few days before Feb. 1st. I went on twitter to the official APB:R page and Matt Scotts page, and in the comments of their latest posts there were 2 or 3 people stating they couldn't migrate PS4 either. But in the replies to one guys comment he said he got it working. So now I'm a little worried it might be that my characters/account is too new.

What was changed recently? They nerfed the CR762's damage and range a while back. I felt that was too much of a nerf. It dropped it's damage to the same value as having heavy barrel 3 on the pre-nerf version, but without the bloom reduction. It's obvious this patch was going to go poorly. Tests had 90% of the system disabled. You relied on the players to test it, when you could have done all the testing in 1 day with a single workstation and a dozen APB instances logged in with random accounts and random threat data. It's obvious it's not matching threat properly. I got multiple matches with 2 golds vs 2 bronze. Those matches don't happen on the old matchmaking. It would match in a 3rd player for the 2 bronze team.

my account is very old - i think i created it in 2011. for the first time today i cant log in - Account in use on another client. for last year i didnt change my detales or logged from another pc. how can that be? and what can i do about it?

I do all this page say about migration. But when login with ps account i never get any question about migrate player only support and forum. What is this?

It's been a while but the time wasn't wasted. I assume it would be fair to make an update and talk a bit. Thanks to everyone who replied (even these who was making jokes) - I believe it played a role First of all - my friend got his accounts back! It was indeed a falseban and every my assumption in the original post turned out to be correct. Image ghost remains in the grey area and I would not recommend anyone using it - but EAC wasn't supposed to ban players for such stuff. It was indeed setted up incorrectly and been protecting the game not from actual cheats but pretty much from everything. And yes, cases like "banned for opening telegram" Indeed took place. Investigation and sorting continued until the end of last year. I got in touch with many players with similar cases (image ghost specifically and other bans that looked random at first), and as far as i know, everyone got their unbans. So I'd call this a succes. Thanks everytone once again. Now a few commentaries: This is not "unknown", the oppsite - it is wery weill known in the creators community. Every single APB designer I know persnally used it at least once. About "free software" - image ghost was created in the era on windows 7 and basically had no analogs at that time. And been lying on everyone's harddrives every since. Imagine - creating stuff is the only reason you play this game. You've been inactive for a while and finally decide to hop into social and make some symbols, what would you do: A) Run the simple program you've been using for ten years that you have on your hands and there is never been a single case of it being bannable or prohibited OR B) For some reason go google the alternatives just becuase why not? I may be wrong, but I never seen any warnings. Just common "don't use 3d party software" is not a warning in this case. But I do agree with you on the "communication" point. This tool does not hook into anything. It does only 2 thigs - make an image above all windows and make the window semi-transparent. It doesnt even work when running the game fullscreen. As turned out - image ghost was just "one of" - many players got banned for other random stuff. Anticheat is not a magic button - you need to work with it. When you eat oranges for 10 years you dont consider sudden death from citrus allergy as a risk. I have like 20 3rd party programs running in the background every time a play, and every and each one of them has as much nothing to do with the game as image ghost. If i'm risking my account every time i dont use separate clean OS without anything but apb installed - i'd rather not play the game at all, you know? Yes, discussion of an existing and serious problem was the perfect place for silly jokes. To be clear - the vast majority of my creations throughout these years were original - i wouldnt be a tiny bit bothered if this tool became prohibited. This topic wasn't about whinning for my friend or this exact program specifically, but about overall incorrectly implemented anti cheat, poor communication, irresponsibility, and development team indifference. In the end all my guesses were confirmed and the problem was solved. But cookie being sarcastic and mocking everyone insted of trying to help is the perfect reflection of everything I was talking about. That's sad and dissapointing. So error code 10004 account in use by other device. i try to switch characters n get booted to log in. relog in twice n get the same. smh You people have really botched this game

Hello Everyone, Today's 1st of February, for the past 2 hours I been refreshing the website over and over and so far the tutorial that APB reloaded provided step by step how to migrate your account didn't seem to work. Once I log in to G1 website with my Ps4 credentials nothing pops up.

You're not the only one. A clan member from back in 2012 recently tried playing. A bunch of stuff is missing from their characters. Support said they couldn't do anything. I saw another friend playing, but it wasn't them. Whoever had the account was speaking Portuguese. Original owner spoke English, and only signed in from US locations. It took months to get their account back, and all support did was give them about 3000 G1C. Nothing was returned to their account. I don't think Little Orbit are logging anything, or support staff don't investigate account breaches. Logs are easy to save, especially basic stuff like IP and MAC. They're probably using a 3rd party for support, who uses number of tickets closed a metric, instead of hours worked.

Randomly logged in to see other stuff, I'll also answer this while I'm at it. I gotta say you guys really love making up stories in which I'm a 10 year old kid looking to get free legendaries lol The hacker broke into an old email of mine. I was not using this email at all, but it was connected to my current one and, also, another one I am no longer using, that happens to be the one tied to my APB account. As soon as they break into the account, they change my password so I no longer have access to that account. I don't notice at first, but my friend start telling me my Insta and Facebook accounts are posting crypto/porn stuff so I understand something weird is going on. My Telegram also starts joining random russian promo groups, my Reddit account comments on some random patootie ads, and so on. Something weird is defo going on. I even find payments tied to my Nintendo account (50 bucks), done with my Paypal, and I also discover my Nintendo account was also stolen (password changed). At some point, I realize all this stuff is still happening despite me changing passwords for my current email halfway through the events, so something else has to be the cause. Eventually, I understand it's that old email, toghether with the one tied to my APB account. I send my documents and shit to the provider, they give me my account back and there I see they did all sorts of shit. They were smart enough to delete the emails, but dumb enough to leave them in the "deleted" folder. What can I say, I'm not those assholes' parent. If you doubt my story, I still have the mail logs. That being said, I decide to delete that email account altogether, to avoid further issues. Flashback to some weeks after that entire, incredibly stressful, situation I had found myself in (while unemployed and stranded abroad, lol), one day I just randomly decide to log into APB (I forgot the reason but I think I mention it in the OP). There, I find that everything that could be traded was indeed traded to who knows who, and like 10 seconds after my initial shock I link this to this past experience. I open a ticket, explaining the situation just like I did now, and I literally asked them "can you see a log of my past trades? I am 99% sure someone broke into my account, sold all my stuff and got away with it". The answer: "yeah we suspect you might not be you so fuck off." Like, dude? I can literally prove I'm me lmao, I can send documents, I know what's up on my fucking account since I made it almost 10 years ago, I answered all your question and all you say is "nah still not sure" and close the ticket off? Not even sending me a log of my past trades? What should I do with it? rofl. If you still like to think I'm the bad guy here though, have a look at it yourself and then, please, tell me what I have to gain from a message like this one. Cause I really can't figure it out myself and I could use some help. And please stop bootlicking bad customer service, you can like a game and admit there's some dumb people working for it.

We already have PS4 Founder titles on consoles, I assume the same with Xbox, maybe made them Account wise not character wise after a merge, and there's still question about duplicate nicknames after merge
