  1. For the benefit of others, AngelMalave is using 2GB of RAM with a 32bit OS. 2GB is not enough for APB and you need to switch to a 64bit OS if you upgrade. 8GB would be ideal but if the entire PC is weak your performance will always be terrible.

    Steam Unlinking

Usually this is what happens. You create a gamers first account When you run the steam version it asks you to link the accounts, you click and its done. The above cannot be unlinked unless you contact support. So if you are the same steam user your only option is to contact support. If you are a different steam user but trying to use the same G1 account it will also fail, needs unlinking by support.
  3. I think the best option would be to give everyone baseball bats, then when you see that LTL enforcer rush them from all sides and start playing ball.
  4. Hello, Events would be nice but everyone has been waiting for the more important engine upgrade and this is where Little Orbit are to make most of their success in restoring the game. I feel that fixing the game is more important, update the engine, fix the anti-cheat problem, improve DDoS issues, attract more players then spam content / updates. If they take time out to include some updates we will be doomed for another few years . What about player created events?
  5. The Game uses a lot of RAM, your 2GB is the problem. 8GB would be minimum recommended but you need to have a 64bit OS.

    Steam Unlinking

Hello, Can you find the place where it is installed on your hard drive, C:\Steam\steamapps\common\APB Reloaded\APBGame\Config Delete the config folder as it contains account information. Run APB, choose the repair option in the launcher. Then see what happens.
  7. For some reason I'm thinking Death Race
  8. It is not the resolution that is causing the issue, verify this yourself Anudureju by changing your game settings. (I have compared low 1024x768 vs low 1920x1080) For some reason it appears that your game level of detail is on a very low setting, might be due to the game not knowing what settings to apply for your GFX card. Go to the following location on your hard drive where APB is installed. If steam it will be similar to this C:\Steam\steamapps\common\APB Reloaded\APBGame\Config Delete the config folder or cut and paste somewhere so you dont lose all your settings. Once it is gone, run the launcher and choose the repair option. This will run the game with all default settings. Still no change, I assume you are using the latest AMD drivers for the GFX card?
  9. In Windows 7 if your Update service has been altered or is not working it can cause issues for the VCC installation. For example some non genuine windows 7 installs prevent the update service from working. Does your Windows update work? A while back there was an issue with the windows update service, taking ages. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3172605/july-2016-update-rollup-for-windows-7-sp1-and-windows-server-2008-r2-s Try this https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53335 If in doubt the best option is to perform a clean install using a genuine DVD and product key. Aside from that, a 32bit OS with only 2GB of RAM will struggle to run APB.
  10. What version of Windows are you using? And have you disabled any services / modified Windows?
  11. Hello, Did anything pop up in the background? You can try installing this manually before the APB installation. When downloading directly from MS choose the x86 version. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=30679
  12. Hello, What are you playing with, PC specs? Monitor resolution? Highest game settings?
  13. Hello, When you downloaded the gamersfirst installer, where did you place the install file? How many drives do you have? Consider trying the Steam version?
  14. The real fix: Game installer not creating a registry entry. https://forums.gamersfirst.com/topic/57-launcher-does-not-correctly-detect-directx-versions-if-user-machine-is-running-d3d12/?do=findComment&comment=2954
  15. You might be the best player in the world but if your PC doesn't perform you will always appear to be struggling. Same goes for your entire network config, router, ISP, server lag. Excluding factors beyond your control playing in FC is a good way to learn how to use the weapons in APB. It teaches you control How to approach multiple enemies How to deal with multiple enemies What to expect, being out gunned, out matched... What happens when you go CQC with a Med-Long range weapon... How your team mates don't care about you <Yes you are alone in FC for the most part. Get to drive cars, run over players. FC is the way to go if you need to experience the mechanics of the game and once you feel stronger, you need to continue practicing to get better. I started out playing FC due to having a weak PC, (Baylan shipping best for low fps) and as I got into doing some missions it was apparent that I had no mission game sense. If you are new to the game I would say FC is a good place and when you are ready start with some missions. Missions are different, you can choose how to play and in doing so it will determine the outcome. There are also different types of players that you will encounter. A group of random players (Randoms) in a team A group of randoms using VOIP A group of friends in a team A group of friends in a team using VOIP A mix, 2 randoms, 2 friends A mix, 2 randoms 2 friends VOIP A mix 2 randoms, 2 friends all using VOIP You get the idea, a team could be a possibility of various individuals. Then you have different types of mentally. I don't care what happens Playing for fun, end result doesn't matter Playing to win, winning is all that matters Playing to win, end result doesn't matter Taking it very casual, the team could perform much better if this player put more effort into winning. The player(s) that is/are better than the rest, my team are full of noobs The player(s) that constantly moan when things go wrong, they take no responsibility for their part The player that is in a world of his / her own, your team is struggling and this player will appear to suddenly go awol somewhere on the map The aggressive attitude The passive attitude The negative attitude The positive / respectful attitude The control freak, tells everyone what do to without a care to anyone else Exploiters - Tactics that may be considered game breaking / cheating The players that fail to acknowledge how other players do not share the same views, they believe some kind of rule set applies to missions. <If you run with an item they will give up / insult.. The players always looking for an easy win, will quit if things don't work in their favour or quit when things go wrong. The player that quits to remain gold. The brainless minds that spam non-sense The intelligent player that remains quiet Young gamers Teen gamers Older gamers The list is bigger and what I am trying to say is that people / players are a combination of the above. Somewhere in all of that you have a decent player that will always contribute to the team, they will always remain calm and respectful, to them success is not a result, it's a positive action. Be whoever you are just expect to meet a lot of people that appear to have run out of sugar on a bad day. If you want to get better in missions and APB in general do not listen to all the non-sense you may experience during the game. There is only so much one can say to try and help, the end result comes down to you. Play to learn without being afraid of what the mission outcome may be as this will only lead you to the path of "playing to win - winning is all that matters". Taking the game too seriously isn't fun and using the same weapons / tactics over and over gets boring. As time goes on what makes you a better player? Getting older but on a genuine note, your attitude is what makes you a better player and the type of people you play with.
  16. I take full responsibility for the comment, Sorry. And your video proves how sided things can look from only one point of view.
  17. I am sorry if I have caused some confusion, I was merely joking at a point in the race that you are suppose to turn right but you went left instead. (I see you realised) This bit Please see the bright side, I never insult anyone, ever, despite looking all red with tiny wings and horns. I'm a friendly devil
  18. So this is why people were racing Some footage and the purple Vegas (Sonya) cheated, took a wrong turn.
  19. If you believe the other team are having a bad time perhaps play the mission to end the suffering sooner? Without the cheater your team might win anyway. <A lot of people cheat because they are vegetables when it comes to gaming. The opposing team might be able to pull through, let them have the opportunity to show some real skill. Tking is not the right thing. Going AFK is not the right thing, you are going to waste your own time and let someone dictate how you play. The truth is you are not the one that needs to take action against cheaters, the game developer has a job to improve their game and provide the best possible service to their players. So if you value your time and understand the misery caused to the other team the best option is to play, get it over asap. Also consider the possibility that the other team may still be able to win and are not going to give in to the twisted players using cheats. Do what you think is right without breaking any rules and remember, don't let others dictate how you play.
  20. What I am saying is that if you take 2 players, one sprinting the other not. The crosshair for the one sprinting prior to firing the first shot will be much larger. The player who isn't sprinting will have a smaller crosshair to beging with.
  21. This is most of what is required to run the game, all files can be found in the APB TPI folder. X:\Steam\steamapps\common\APB Reloaded\TPI Do you have all these installed?
  22. Toggle sprint mode Toggle crouch mode Just note if you permanently sprint your aim / crosshair will be larger, the player not sprinting will have higher accuracy. So depending on the weapon you are using you would have to disable the auto sprint each time before you start shooting otherwise any mobility during combat will kill your accuracy. This might seem like a small disadvantage but it can save your life
  23. You should change your way of thinking, the value of your account remains the same regardless of what occurs. To compare your personal goals and achievements to another player is meaningless as like you say it is all about how much effort you put into it. The cheater looking at his own account stats doesn't have the same level of accomplishment and pride as any genuine player but more importantly you should never compare your efforts to anyone else. Just remember this, what takes someone 10 years to learn may take someone else 10 seconds. < I hope you understand the message. Making a comparison between two players based on stats is meaningless as you do not get a sense of the real level of personal achievement. Walk away from this knowing that how you feel about your account can never be matched by anyone else.
  24. The registry fix DXFix.reg or if you want to create this yourself paste the following into a notepad text file. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\GamersFirst\APB] "directX ShipDate"="04.18.2011" Save the file as, then choose all types. Name it "dxfix.reg" Then double click on the file to add to your registry. No more DX installing when you launch APB
  25. In that case I would disagree with your analysis of the issue, the launcher is not the problem. The main culprit is the game installer when using Steam, it does not add the correct registry values so each time you see the DX message. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\GamersFirst] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\GamersFirst\APB] "directX ShipDate"="04.18.2011" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\GamersFirst\APB\1] "Installation Language"="1033" "Installation Path"="E:\\STEAM\\STEAMAPPS\\COMMON\\APB RELOADED" "Installation Type"="110101119" "SocialPopupWasShown"="True" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\GamersFirst\APB\APB Reloaded] "Initial Version Installed"="1.19.5.783457" "Installation Language"="1033" "Installation Path"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\GamersFirst\\APB Reloaded" "Application Group Folder"="GamersFirst\\APB Reloaded" "Tag"="live" "Installation Type"="110101119" "SocialPopupWasShown"="True" Without the above it will always show DX trying to install, please note these are for my drives C and E. You may not want a workaround but consider the information above as more detail to your BUG report.
