  1. Looks solid, gonna have to try this out tomorrow.
  2. As of right now the matchmaking is turned off temporarily on all districts. Hopefully we can get back "threat level" districts asap. Although I dont think this will fix the issue, but it will lower the chance of facing golds for people with Silvers/Bronze/Green threat level.
  3. I like using Cooling Jacket 3, Magazine Pull 3 and Mobility Sling on mine.
  4. They wont remove unobtainable achievements. These were available for people playing around a certain time. Although, I do believe some achievements on Steam are bugged.

  6. There is usually a monthly update about the game. (4-5 weeks, normally) On top of that, there is a forum thread dedicated towards the Engine Upgrade with updates every week. If you're looking for more information, then I'd suggest having a look at the Q&As.
  7. Nades nades nades... and more nades. Should always try to use your nades. (if needed) On top of that, change loadout for different situations.
  8. Hey! Mission districts are going to get a restart. - Exo
  9. I have nothing against trying more solutions/changes for the OBIR. Decreasing damage to make it 4-shot FBW is a good idea. I do believe this has been brought up before, never know why it didnt get discussed further. Definitely something that LO could try do for the OBIR instead of switch delay. At the end of the day, all we want is balance.
  10. You're thinking too much about what the numbers say. It does not matter what the TTK is. You're never gonna get "perfect" TTK at all given times, thats why numbers are irrelevant. You need to look at how the game actually plays out. The problem is how fast a player can sit behind a corner/car, tag you 49/50 with an OBIR. That way the player already has a huge advantage, and he can instantly swap to his Obeya FBW to finish you off. The other player can very rarely react to an OBIR popping out of a corner and tagging you 49/50. While on Test B, you actually have to wait for a little bit and it does not make it instant. You need to stop thinking about it being a 1v1 wild west duel in the middle of the street. There is always cover, cars, shields, etc... that will make a huge impact on how the game plays out and how fast someone will kill each other.
  11. Hey! I figured I'd share my feedback regarding the changes of Low-Yield Grenades and OBIR/FFA. Lets start with Low-Yields Test B is in my own opinion the best change for Low-Yields. It changes how you would play Low-Yields on current LIVE districts and on Test B districts. With the new change it makes Low-Yields be used for "Area control". Because thats what Low-Yields should be used for, it should be spammy and it should be for taking over a certain area. Lowering damage and increasing the fuse timer is a really good change for Low-Yields. They are still useful, just not as great as they are on LIVE districts. The issue with LIVE district Low-Yields is that it has too much damage output and the fuse timer is lower which makes it easier to spam nades. Since this is already being nerfed, keeping three grenades for Low-Yields is fine. Hope you'll stick with the Test B changes, LO! OBIR/FFA Change I've tested both A and B with the OBIR, and I dont notice a massive difference. Although, I do prefer Test B for nerfing the "quickswitching" of OBIR. It has a decent "delay" for swapping to your pistol while its not too long either. In other words, quickswitching is still possible. But its no where near as good as LIVE districts. This is the excact same issue that the N-HVR "243" encountered. It used to be able to swap instantly, but eventually it got the "bolt" delay. The OBIR should behave the same way, considering the damage output of "49/50" each burst is insane. As a player who used to main OBIR, I can safely say that OBIR is one of the most insane and ridiculous weapons for all ranges. It can be used for long range, medium range, close range, etc... Nerfing the "insta-swap" of OBIR is hundred percent needed. In my opinion, Test B is the best change out of them both. I might edit this post later with a showcase of LIVE district and Test B OBIR. - Exo

  14. Hey! Some feedback after playing RIOT for the past week. First of all I'll say that its refreshing with something new other than missions or fight club. We've been stuck with the same game modes for 9 years now. RIOT is a very unique and fresh take on "Battle Royale". I think RIOT offers a variety of options for players to strategize and choose how they want to play the match out. Improvements that can be made - Make Clothing Agent 3 as default modification for all players. Another solution for this could be to give players Med Spray with a 60s cooldown? (this may collide with the hazmat suit consumable, but im sure LO can find a way to work around it) - Make HVR/PSR and Scout/Pathfinder spawns more rare. - When a player dies, they should get spawns near "safe zones", not yellow marked areas. (this happens often) - When a player dies, the game should find the closest spawn available to their teammate. (sometimes teammates can spawn on the other side of the map) - Change the start time of a match (currently it is three minutes and it feels like three hours, lower this time to like a minute or something) - Be able to purchase ammo for your loadout. (could add small ammo packs around the floor which can be purchased with cash perhaps?) QoL Changes that can be made: - Let players have their weapon skins once they purchase their own loadout. - Let players see total kills of their team during the match. - Let players be able to check what weapon their teammates have. - "Auto-run" keybind, please. Bugs/fixes - Bank Truck at the end sometimes is elevating off the ground, makes people an easy target when shooting underneath. - Bank Truck delivery circle is not fully centered with the truck. Which makes it possible to drop money while outside circle. - Names of players appear through the truck, this happens every game on random occasions. - Player names of teammates get stuck after they re-spawn from their death. (happens from time to time) - Few locations have bugged spawns of either money/guns which are not possible to pickup. Despite all the things I mentioned above, its still a fun little game mode. - Exo
  15. Normal missions and Fight Club should stay the way it was previously. Change it back.
  16. Hey! Some feedback from yesterdays' stress test. - How does RIOT compare to other APB game modes? There is in no way you could compare this game mode to anything that is currently in APB:R. The gameplay is a lot slower than what other game modes are. APB is advertised as a fast-paced shooter with action at all times. I did not get that feeling while playing RIOT. - Would you encourage your friends to play RIOT? At the current state of RIOT, no. Perhaps in the future once its gotten more improvements and QoL changes. - How would you explain RIOT to someone who has never seen it? I would describe it as a "hybrid" Battle Royale game mode. Where the players control how, which and when the gas "squares" are going to be danger zones. You pick up money randomly around the city which can be used on weapons, ammo, extra life... You can win in two different ways. - Have a lot of money at the end of the round and deliver it to the bank truck, once the timer runs out the team with the most money in the truck wins. - Kill all remaining players and be the last team standing. - What ONE THING would you change about RIOT if you could? Give everyone the effect of the Clothing Agent 2/3 modification. Currently while trying to recover health, it feels like it takes a million years. Letting people have the modification will allow for more fast-paced gameplay. - What is your favorite aspect of RIOT? I love the "money system", where you can purchase, ammo, extra life, weapons... In the future there could be more options with the money, we've already seen other games do this. - What about RIOT do you like the least? The waiting times... If your team dies at the beginning of the match, you're forced to sit there and wait. Which could take up to 15-20 minutes. It feels very empty and poor when you cant do anything during spectator mode, all you can do is move your mouse around and change camera angle. Oh, and not to mention. You get kicked for being AFK if you dont move your mouse around while spectating. Clip here (taken from Proxie's channel) Improvements Spectator - Be able to see the names of players currently playing - Be able to see how many kills/assists the current team you're spectating has - Be able to swap between his/her teammates perspective - Lock the camera to the players that is being spectated. Gameplay - Give players CA3 for faster pacing of the game. - Give players options as to which secondary to start with, or completely change it. Colby SNR is a very boring and random gun to start with. (PDW or Mountie Northwest are a few options) - Let players buy lives back for their teammates, bring back their teammates. (Max 1 time) - Be able to give your teammates money Overall, did I have fun playing the RIOT game mode? I had a decent time playing, it was not bad neither amazing. One thing for sure is that it felt like a breath of fresh air. - Exo
