  1. I was ok. All along until the 29th of June, 2010. I remember it like it was yesterday...
  2. If you want to make money, buy premium, buy armas content, modify it and sell for in-game currency. Working as intended.
  3. Rerolling to Realtime Worlds state to work up from there would be an embarrassment. We must push further!
  4. Hey, this is the thought police and I don't approve of your thinking.
  5. There're 10 pages of replies, after reading one good one, I must reply. Quoting two people, that's a lot of work. 3? People have jobs.
  6. These are very good points from veterans who know how the game works better than anyone. That's how you improve the game, not by letting consumers feel like they're participating, but by listening to constructive ideas sprouting out of knowledge achieved with experience.
  7. You're forgetting APB hasn't really ever left beta.
  8. I'm not sure what the screenshot is showing. Did you win that mission?
  9. Ever since g1 any game file modification was considered a gray area. Many people manually did some config changes to reduce quality of certain aspects and increase performance (myself included). Basically reducing the quality of the game lower than in game settings menu allowed. And then came the shaders and configs to assist gameplay, which is a whole different story.
  10. I came back to the forum after a long break. Close enough?
  11. I am too, very busy, but there is always time for some keyboard fighting.
  12. No, the issue is that he was asked to provide his transaction history, in which case I fully understand his frustration. The only way to tell what and when I've bought to is to check my history for which I need to be logged in already.
  13. Hey there, tip from 2011. After starting the game end a process called VivoxVoiceService
  14. What was the name of your first pet?
  15. Sniper changes sound good, shotguns sound ok on paper. I guess that's it, for now.
  16. I'm wary to get my hopes up again, I'm not sure what value do they see in putting in as much work as this game needs, to make it popular again. I think most of us realize by now, that this game cannot be "fixed into" what it could have been 8 years ago. But that doesn't mean it cannot be made better, that is certainly possible. However, LO come in after years of G1's unfulfilled promises and while it's understandable that they need time to get settled and then time to work on changes, but for us, the consumers, that's just more months upon all these years. Coming back to the game now, would be coming back to what I've left, but I'll keep an eye out for any updates. Good luck to the new dev, we don't hate you yet
  17. I thought you meant 3 years. That's more believable, with the news of new developer making new promises and all that.
  18. This thing. I've honestly forgotten everything about it. But there was still this scar in my heart, that I've grown to recognize as a part of who I am. What started as innocent first love, ended in so much pain and misery. The suffering forgotten, but the scar still there. Now that I least expect it, the shadow of this forgotten lover haunts me again. The news about Little Orbit found me. And it's not getting me excited, no, it worries me. Because now like a little boy again, I have a little glimmer of hope, that my dad will finally return baring a pack of cigarettes. But after several barren years in this wasteland we call real life, I've learned that my father is gone. Yet I still believe. I have to believe. But is it possible to replace the "DIY storage unit" of a mailing system? Is it possible to manage the marketplace without having to manually enter and remove every single item every day? Is it possible to upgrade the engine 0.5 more? After all this time, it's hard to believe it is. Ghost shooting is a fundamental law of physics. Under bridge vehicular combustive mechanics is a law of physics. As grown men, used and forsaken, we wander hopelessly, knowing that there's no salvation, yet we still can't resist the calls of this siren of a game. Just sing us another song and we'll come running.
