Basically reducing the quality of the game lower than in game settings menu allowed. And then came the shaders and configs to assist gameplay, which is a whole different story.

I think most of us realize by now, that this game cannot be "fixed into" what it could have been 8 years ago. But that doesn't mean it cannot be made better, that is certainly possible. However, LO come in after years of G1's unfulfilled promises and while it's understandable that they need time to get settled and then time to work on changes, but for us, the consumers, that's just more months upon all these years. Coming back to the game now, would be coming back to what I've left, but I'll keep an eye out for any updates. Good luck to the new dev, we don't hate you yet
