Not in all ranges N-TEC is superior. Close-up it's beaten by most of other ARs (STAR, FAR), far by other ARs (ISSR-A). The problem with balancing this weapon is that if you break balance... the next best AR is paid one (FAR Spearhead - slightly better STAR). Imagine how big outcry it would result in.

Clarification because most of you clearly get my intentions wrong. Again. First of all this thread isn't against APB playerbase (It was expectable that playerbase would act like that.) - who I blame is LO as company telling me they played-tested it. Play-test would reveal at least half of this problems from get-go, don't even need many players, just brain. (Zones or problems with distance from zone when spawning for example). Second my actual time of event was 2 days (personal problems, in last sunday of Halloween event my motherboard litteraly surged on me and since it's expensive laptop I had to wait for electronic repair... 3 weeks - I came back in Friday at litteraly last days of event but through weekend been busy with stuff - it's only in Monday when I took any real interest. Meaning again event which you can't complete from get-go, like Halloween...) - I heard some here were trying to get it for weeks, realistic saying - I had literally 5 hours on any of districts to get that 1st place - it's impossible - if I had more time there possibly would be more close calls and success. Most likely this thread wouldn't exist... but some other of this kind would pop-up. Sorry that's fact. Third - Where the hell is LO? @Lixil @MattScott @LO It's thread directed to them! I watched his toplist and looked up guy. 11 000 subs, distorted soundtrack from game and uber old gameplay (in our case) and trailers (in most of others) make me think he didn't even do any research into our or any of games presented there. Mind? Using mind in that? The only three ways I saw were - Getting "teamed", camping it on some high-building or abusing event border (eventually kill stealing). Every strategy is scumish. 2 of this shouldn't be even option.

Because you KEPT winning. I didn't won ONCE. Many other didn't won even ONCE. We wanted skin which was *****-blocked as main reward. Easily unavaliable if one guy was keep being at top all day of 2 hours of event.

You are right. Some people were really good - dunno their piece of cake (I'm far from good in huge crowd of random people). But while they were constantly in top, they blocked others players from achieveing it. It made this event that more toxic - plus there was time pressure put on everyone.

I agree. I'm angry at myself, this event and everyone else for even trying to get that skin. Wasn't in category of "fun" as some of GMs stated (nice to tell when you stand on side and don't even try out your own thing really eh?) And problem it wasn't skill pyramid even. It was more of top at top, bottom at bottom. And because of JTs it was guarnateed that you meet the same players at top every day. If you in high-medium range of skill, then you could forget about reward unless you had luck on your side (I didn't, some did if I maybe had more days then maybe... but sadly I was only able to play it for 2 days since my laptop got broken after last event.)

After I was hitting top of scoreboards I just was simply giving up. What's the point of hitting wall on repeat?.. And no. I'm not gonna "gitgud" at event which was meant for abuse. It was fucking fun, killing some guy, then suddenly being gangraped by two entering zone from the back. LUCK - LUCK - And again LUCK. <- Feat I never had in my single fucking playthrough of that game so fuck off. The only player winning were this who somehow pulled off streak without being constantly fucked in patootie by this entering zone from "spawns". Some done it by abusing zone border, some by camping, others by "teaming" (you know being aided) - and some rare pattoties for straight up cheating (I saw 3 guys when I hidden behind car who snapped from me to some other guy in zone - gr8). So nice if "gitgud" is any of this strategy and APB wants to be comeptitive right now with all it's problems.... I think I find some real competitive game.

Bah I even put some categories, that's how many points are there: Reward distribution: - JTs as rewards for parcipitation are fine but this rewards were WAY too high - people started treating event as JT machine... - Lovely decision to attach to won weapon skin, 250 jts lead to situation that top players non-stop holded 1st place to get the most out of it too. - THE SOLE FACT THAT YOU MAKE WEAPON SKIN (thing most people looked forward to getting in this event) - AS TOP PRIZE. Maybe it would be obtainable... if not for thousand of issues provided here with this event which effectively kill any chances and leave everything to damn luck... or you need to cheat in that event. (Btw. this sole reason hurt especially people like me who wanted this weapon skins). I saw many bronzes and silver badly wanting this weapon skin... bah even I struggled hell lot to get this skin! (And didn't succeed as well...) Gameplay: - Zone in wierd places... - You don't know where you enter zone and where you exit it. (Which leads me to second point too...) - ...and zones are invisible - Why zones aren't visibly marked in-game? Why instead i get small sign which is easy to skip that I "Entered Zone"? - Horrible spawn placement - Why we don't we spawn in zones all the time? Why we often spawn among groups of enemies? Why enemies spawn behind me? Why do I have to leg to zone 200m (Which leads me to...) - Disabling AI cars when in event - Why disable AI cars when they don't count to gungames and don't do damage in gungame? The fact that after each spawn I was sent backward in progress thanks to poor spawn is insulting at best. - Lack of blowtorch attached to ALL guns - This one is probably only one minor which would improve gameplay to everyone if they are stuck with weapon THEY ARE HORRIBLE WITH. You know i'm not fond of how Anubis or Volcano works... - Zone is open to get out of - This one makes my blood boil. Check proper gungame in any game. There is nothing like "zone" - you put players in certain area and don't allow them out. Why do I have to bother about where the hell is zone? Problem with coding that one? Ok! Then why you don't put it in place like... I dunno Beacon?! Time of event: - The fact that this event is only at certain hours of day and require GM - some people work at time your event runs, others LIKE maybe "SOMETIMES" me... are busy with real life matters. And the fact that GM needs to start it (on GMs on their own I talk later on). GMs support: - GMs on their own - Giving them power to oversight event and then do nothing. Lovely. Result? A lot of cheaters, teamers and people which keep cuckolding 1st place. Say one more time "please" to them, maybe they will listen? (It reduces my "100 chances" to barely "2 chances" I had btw. because leaderboard was in hold of the same people all time. Thanks?). - Taking any power from GMs to prevent what was happening in event - self-explanatory Purpose of this event: - The fact that this event exist... - Nobody asked for it. Nobody wanted it. But... - ...now completionist suffer thanks to it. - I lost all my chances to get skin because of how poor this event is executed. I imagine there is about 50% of playerbase which never even got close to finishing this event AT ALL. - Event for "fun" - but instead turn it competitive in most toxic and competitive community of world. What could possibly go wrong? Surely they won't jump themselves to necks. I did several times. Overall I rate this event as the worst APB had so far. Even when we talk about this one under G1 (and in no degree i'm gonna defend old G1 ever). So here's chance to redeem yourself. Skin to participitants and scrap this event. Finito. Fuck this event sincerely in patootie. Zero fucking GM support during that. People cheat, got help from others and win 1st place non-stop and what does GM do? Ask them to fucking stop. Instead of kicking? Warning? Banning? Hello... basic actions against troublemakers, you got them on plate. Fuckin act?! Constant problems with stability (we talk servers), poor choice of gun, god-know-where-are-zones, elitist reward based on luck, horrible spawns, greatly luck-dependant game, zero fun if you try to get top reward... List goes on with problems with event itself... You better give that skin to everyone. If i'm not able to complete this event despite huge motivation and experince then how most of playerbase stand there with such issues?

I asked for most important of all reasons. I know every single reason why people leave here - I face every problem myself after all. Some leave because one thing and others because other one. It's generalization but I want to see what is the most burning problem APB faces today. I try to never take people feelings into considerations - because most of time they are irrational.
