Most mods in the game are honestly pretty nice as they are - IR was the outlier in that there was no real downside to it And that was idiotic. Mods in theory should only change role of weapon - not enchant it. 0-slotted weapon should be equal to 3-slotted weapon with different kind of mods. Each mod should be advantage in one area for trade-off in other.

Jeez relax everyone. At best event will start either two weeks before Halloween or at worst, week before and will go until several days after Halloween. This is usual schedule with all events and I think it's case in all games.

That's why I buy open slotted weapons instead of preset ones if I have choice. That way i'm protected from weapon mods changes. Open-slotted ATAC all the way, too bad CSG only comes in preset tho.
