Many of weapons which were at Nekrova were NEVER balanced because there never was need for it (as nobody BUT nekrova players had access to them). Too small playersbase for that tbh. We had Han which was Asian-Oceanian server but population was so small we had to integrate it with Jericho. (At "peak" you couldn't find anyone to play - so it tells tale) Sorry. Maybe in future if Oceania and Asian population will come back to game to revive Han or even add new server for Oceania alone.

Honestly I still grind my main (in weapon roles) and i'm playing here for like... what 4 years by now? Usually reserving myself 2 or 3 hours per every day at time.

I'm always trying to employ some though into my plays. Although I never forfeit even long missions (but you surely can forfeit solo mission as they slow down progress a lot if they turn out to be just solo).

On defending side though. That 3rd slot rarely matters and you unlock 2-slot version long before that.

Honestly EOL in FCs is the easiest way to get explosives role. I took me roughly month to complete that role, by just simple divison of "kill quota" to 50 kills per day. And it's doable in 2 to 3 hours depending on how lucky or not you are.

It's nice from rank 1 to rank 13... but then goes into hyper grind. Although to unlock everything "worth it" you need at max rank 15. Rank 16 is just chrome skin and can be ignored.

If you really try-hard you can get from R9 to R255 in week (if you play non-stop with expection of sleep and eating).

Waterfront locations are... more random and not very well-though in some places to point they might affect how missions play out (for example Yacht Bay is such place). Plus waterfront is more of open space place and (dunno that's my experince tho.) most players prefer more enclosed fights.

I can confirm that - I remember him a bit hazy during my silver-gold jumps periods. Trashed everyone who were bronze and insulted everyone above that. And "illegal" programs. What do you mean by illegal programs? Cracked ones? Or hacking tools? If cracked ones - then well... not all programs are blocked by BattlEye (because that's what blocks them) If hacking tools, it's because such programs got various spoofs to disguise them either as legit other program or as in-game program or service. Cheating wouldn't be problem at all if anti-cheat would just detect suspicious activity on-go.

Dunno if you are aware but even if there are GMs, they got their power decreased. They can't ban on spot (dunno about kicks tho.) - as Matt stated, they just fill up report with evidence to LO - which after review will get ban. Slow process but our community is so small - it just work. Also we are bound to see that "one idiot" with cheats creating new accounts and getting on everyone nerves - even after ban. So sorry to say that but they are just like rats... can't get rid of them that easily.
