I'm aware of that, I'm just pointing out that it's not a mod in itself. It's specific to just the ACES SMG/Rifle, and on top of that doesn't actually itself cause the stat changes. It really shouldn't contribute towards their JT price, as such. As one who already owns the Kris and Stiletto, and absolutely loves the ACES, all of my yes.

Silencer is inconsistent on this. Most cases it's a mod (stuff like silenced NTEC or HVR for offhand examples), but some cases it's an innate part of the weapon (ISSRs, FR0Gs, etc). I would argue in the cases of the latter, it shouldn't increase the gun's cost. Alternatively, make the non-silenced versions of these weapons available. ACES is another example where it shouldn't be counted as a mod for the purposes of the JT price. It's just a tooltip to give clarity between the two variants of the weapon.

Would accomplish nothing. There's already four threat levels and yet we're in this situation, further fragmenting doesn't change anything.

Won't see me arguing with that, but @MattScott clearly has no intention of combating the issue until years from now if/when the engine upgrade and everything else is implemented. This would be a smaller, easier to implement adjustment for the interim.

Such a small change that would have a significant impact on the issue. The biggest reason that dethreating is so prevalent is because of how incredibly easy it is to do. You simply dethreat to silver, join bronze district, and then viola you get an entire day of easy matches no matter how hard you win. This change would force people to dethreat every time they go back to gold, which would require them to change to silver district since they could no longer ready up in bronze. Alternatively, they would have to make estimated guesses on when they're about to threat up, and pre-emptively threat back down. This new hassle to dethreating would most likely result in the majority of dethreaters simply ceasing to bother with it. Sure, there'd be plenty that keep doing it, but this would vastly improve the overall game experience for new players and veterans that actually belong in the bronze district.

It would help if the servers weren't toasters. The poor server performance has a vast effect on vehicle handling and performance, far more than anything else in the game.

Archaic online game design. They auto-delete to save on server load (storage space, specifically). Still a common thing in modern free to play titles too. Cut corners at the player's expense to save pennies wherever you can, so you maximize profits until the game inevitably dies because of your shitty design choices...

An automated message containing an item I listed on the auction so that it would be stored in a mail attachment instead of my inventory. There's like 20 of these, and nothing else because I delete everything else to keep my mailbox clean. Really wish all those lore mails weren't automatically deleted over time...

Didn't say it was the only reason, just one of them. -

They should just convert it to solo only, the premade teams stomping PUGs aspect is what pushed a lot of people away in the first place. -
How the hell did APB Cost 100 Million dollars???!

I always wonder how that figure would change if they were to update it to include the expenditures that Gamersfirst/Reloaded and Little Orbit have spent. -
Still boggles my mind that people will sit here and claim the game doesn't have pay to win in it. Speaking from a strictly objective standpoint, and going by the actual and true definition of the terminology of "pay to win", this game very much has a multitude of examples of pay to win. That being said, most examples of it in this game are what could be classified as "soft" pay to win, if that were to ever become a thing. You won't outright win every match just because you have the thing, you just stand a higher chance compared to those who don't. Unlike an MMORPG or such, the stats on a gun (for example) don't matter if you can't hit the target.

I really should try to regain access to my CBT account one of these days.

Terrible mode that has no business ever returning.
