It'd have to be actively running. Programs like VMware often cause issues like this with Battle eye, but "Disallowed Program #0" is caused by an active program.

Unfortunately there's not much you can do to people refusing to use the right area of the forums without bringing in mods to correct them. Unless they make the suggestions section rainbow and flashy I doubt people are going to even look in it's direction when posting suggestions.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think LO said they were still getting their mod teams together, and there are very few current mods to actually enforce the forum rules. I've really only seen Lixil and Flight do anything forum wise so far. (Though I've probably missed the other mods doing things)

Could you provide a screen shot? Avast shouldn't be your issue, and BattleEye shouldn't be your issue either (Though it should be what is disconnecting you) It's possible you have remaining files on your pc from your original cheating that Battle eye detects. Your best bet is to run some virus scans as said above, since most virus scanners pick up cheats as a virus (depending). Other then that there's not much you can do (besides wiping your pc) without giving us a little more information on what's happening.

Every time I see a thread like this I feel all warm and tingly inside, seeing the community come together But for my 2 cents, because I matter too I don't see the game as P2W, there's specific guns (Free and Armas) that I personally think need re-balancing, and LO has acknowledged this. However there's very little advantage from Armas weapons over regular, and in most cases an Armas weapon is just a reskin, or the same gun but you get to choose the mods. I won't go too deep into the argument of "free vs paid" guns but what I've stated is just how I see it summarised. One thing I think we all need to remember is this is a free game, run by a company, a company that requires money to keep the game up. Obviously there's going to be incentives for players to spend money so the game can stay up, we can see it as soon as me get to social, but customisation can't be relied upon alone for the company to make money, so obviously weapons are brought in, and for how minimal an advantage you get (Even on the paid guns that are unfair) you're still able to win against them, they still are not as bad as other games (F2P and P2P) Overall APB has one of the best micro-transaction (Micro's funny because a gun is $40 AUD) economies out of any current game that I've seen. Sure it's not fun dying to a current meta Armas gun, but LO has acknowledge a rework is required and we're all reassured change is coming. Where we all truly belong

Golds shouldn't be playing in bronze district, just ignore them. Best thing to do is play out the mission and try your best, but you can't be banned for not doing well/playing. However retaliating (I.E flaming them) could get you punished in some way

I think this'd be a fun mechanic down the line, now I've only skimmed the posts here so I haven't read into the for or against posts. Obviously this is something that's not going to get added right away or possibly even in the near future since LO is still getting everything together but I think it fits in with APBs fast paced gameplay, especially since swapping primaries can take a bit.

There's also the all wheel thing with the IO Growl where you sink into the ground and can't go faster than what feels like walking speed. people who have a pet peeve for pet peeve threads?

Sometimes outright banning abused things isn't the right way to go, but getting better enforcement of the current rule set. There's quite a few threads up currently (Active) that are using polls proactively but others just seem to like to do it to either start controversy or just troll, though I'm starting to see them as the same thing.

Unfortunately APB is a very difficult game to fix, if you've been paying attention to the posts from Matt Scott or Lixil you'll know where the game is at and how they're trying to help it. The DT and threat issue in general is on the road map for being worked on, but it's such a complicated issue that I haven't even see players on the forums mention a better way to be doing it, obviously there's been suggestions but they all have flaws, and it's better LO sits back and waits to make a good idea then jumping in head first that might make things even worse. There are GMS, and there's GMs currently being recruited as I believe the deadline for the volunteer GMs was just hit and hopefully those guys/gals will be able to start helping out soon. But we can't expect LO to do everything instantly, there's so much for them to do. Your best option is to send in proof of people DTing to support and just try your best against DTers, you can always just consider it practice to get better at the game.

I think it's fair that it starts with two. If anything it's generous, most games have x factions and y character slots, y being lower than x. 2 factions, 2 characters. Those being your main characters put them on your home server, if you really want to try another server then buy a slot. Having 3 default slots kinda loses it's profitability

I think this is right also, I checked a couple of days ago it still says "Fairfight is monitoring activity" or something like that, I just don't think it's doing anything. Which again is fair.

Matt Scott (and I believe most of the LO team at this point) have explained Battle eye is in an "observation" mode at the current point in time, so no players are getting banned automatically. However players are still liable to be banned from player made reports to the team. Battle eye will begin banning players when it's gathered the data it needs to run properly, as has already been stated.

Haven't gotten any crashing over at Jericho or HAN. But the servers are still pretty warp filled.

Then that's down to LO then. The cases involving fraudulent behaviour were said to be reviewed more heavily then simply being banned for aimbot. I obviously don't know the specifics but all you can really do is wait for a response on your support ticket.

I don't think anyone would want you to. Just because APB has been toxic in the past doesn't mean it should continue to be.

As that does help deter cheaters, it's simply too toxic of a practice. You should never have any reason to be flaming another player for any reason, it just makes the environment of APB more toxic. I have to agree with LO on this one and say keep the bans hidden.
