I dont understand why people complain about cars when they can just go to an action district where there is no car game. I play APB for the car game, otherwise its not APB. I have played against many players with amazing aim and coordination, but as soon as they got into a car, they couldnt turn a corner.

Lets be honest, Nazi's in APB are fleeting and has anybody ever come across a good player with a Nazi symbol? They are all rubbish. Infact I enjoy beating them when they are there. When it comes to offensive symbols. Then you are setting a presidence and have to start banning everything.

Of course matchmaking is broken when experienced players only team with Experienced players. When i go on with my level 255, i am treated with respect. When i create a new player, i am met with abuse, nobody will invite to group, level 255s with dethreat on me. I teamed with a couple of players recently, there were 3 of us and we were doing well. I suggested inviting a new player to the group. I was met with an immediate "NO!" We are here to smurf other players. Who are you anyway? I was then kicked from the group for making that suggestion. So got my level 255 rejoined the server so i could "smurf" them. I never got matched against them I played another game with a new player, i was teamed with a good team, one of those players did his best to get me kicked from the team. He tried jumping in front of my car. Team killing so i could shoot him back, harrassed through chat. He posts here, so will probably read this But this is just a taste of what new players do get. I know LO is working on it. but i would like to see that people are getting banned, at this moment in time, i hear nothing about anybody getting bans. If people are not hearing about it, its going to continue to happen. I wouldnt say name and shame but there should be some statistics to show its happening. That in itself is a deterant.

That is bullcrap, Thats the go to excuse for dethreaters to try justify their farming of new players. Dethreaters know what they are doing, they will go into a premade team and steamroll new players. When they have made gold, they break off from that group to dethreat. They then team with the new players lose the games on purpose, gain Silver (or Bronze) and then go back to the group. I see it daly and i see the same players do it daly.

i didnt know there were 2 new hair styles coming. Thats great news. Would love to see Long Dredds for men and woman. When are they coming in ?

I have reported, but i have never seen a ban. The last guy tonight, i was unable to report as there is no such player aparrently. Which happens alot even when you change the /whisper to a report. But its just shows what new players have to put up with.

The fact that a team is steamrolling another team, the good players get a bounty, in which its open season on them for a short amount of time. Allowing the other team to gain a little bit of an advantage and even the odds somewhat.

The only people who wanted this removed were good players. It was a great balancing feature. Now it makes no sense.

Its another post because its a problem. Yesterday i played with my level 255 player. I ran into dethreating a little bit. Weirdly the other higher level players asked me if they could. Today i made a new player. I had a dethreater nearly in every mission. I got abused when i asked them not to, i was TKed constantly. One of the players even took to district chat to boast how he is not going to get banned and continued to abuse me with other high level players. This is what new players have to deal with on a daily basis and yet people complain about low population.

First of all this is the APB forums. The first thing that is done is people will try and discredit you or your post by replying, "this again" or just giving a 1 word answer, doing their best to make you look stupid. Just look at any other post out there and you will see the first couple of responses are negative towards the poster. Even the mods are very much guilty of this. In any other forum this is a bannable offence, but here it seems to be allowed and just like the game, people hardly post here anymore. Secondly the laws on this forum is Cheating doesnt exist, Dethreating isnt the problem and Match Making is broken. This is because the players who say this, use cheats, they dethreat and farm new players and will only team with higher level team mates. Merged. just to point out, i played a couple of games yesterday. Met 3 high level dethreaters in 2 games, F$"ing over me and other new players. Logged in today. I have completed 2 games and have lost thanks to high level dethreaters who are boasting about it on district. Its in LO's power to do something about it but nothing is done. The forums are moderated why not moderate the game, thats the bread winner ??

Completley agree with Tigrix a lot of moves to improve the game seem to appease the veterans.

Its not all done on the forums anymore. Its all shared somewhere else, i am not going to advertise. I know for a fact that there is an inner circle of players who share cheats and configs. Going by what i have seen, i would say that there is over 50% of the gold population is using some sort of cheat or config edit. Personally I dont think cheating is detremental to the game, and tackling it head on is only putting out fires here and there. There are other ways to tackle it and thats by improving the community. But thats a whole other thread.

Any little bit of googling you will see that there is a very active cheaters community out there.

Golds are super stressed players because of the decline in population yet, wont let new players join and stomp them every chance they get.

Its still competative but there will always be cheaters. Banning them does nothing as they just keep coming. But there are different types of cheaters. There are the weekend cheaters, they set up for the weekend, GG EZ after all missions , very loud. There are the new players who find the game through cheating forums. There are the banned players who reroll. The past week i have been seeing a lot of players teaming with cheaters to level up. The cheater will get banned but they wont. There are the professional cheaters in the higher clans. They do everything in their power not to get caught. For wall cheats, the just say that they can tell where the player is through team speak. But they all share their macros and settings in order to get away with it. There is 1 well known player i know who cheats as he accidently thought i was somebody else and i ended up in a conversation with him outside of APB he gets and shares his config with a number of players. He is still very much active to this day. His partner in crime who also uses a lot of cheats was banned once but it was overturned. I do remember a player on reddit who did joke about when he used his cheats, the lower lever players called him out on it, the seasoned players always defended him which he thought was funny. Then again the seasoned players very much keep to themselves and we all know there is a conspiracy of silence there.

Im not claiming it, i am stating a fact. I could give you a lecture on community and social interaction with the focus on community as a selling point to drive profits, but given your response i dont think you are ready for it.

Happens in business all the time. If your current clientel are bad for business, make the changes you need and attract new clientel. Empty the glass so you can fill it again. You dont introduce an element that couldnt survive on 2 previous servers. I mean if you open up a restaurant and invite the Mafia, people are not going to want to eat in that restaurant.
