half the weapons are pretty much garbage. then out of the ones that do work, some require less skill than others (pmg = spray n pray). only like 2 pistols are worth using, fbw and 45. not really that much to it.

matchmaking works, if its not broken don't fix it. waste of what little development they could be doing (guessing they have like 1 part time dev for this matchmaking).

its all a big joke to pretend APB is not dead, to bait more players to spend real $$$ on armas marketplace. if they were serious about GMing they would get someone who actually knows how to do it, with experience and ability to make GM tools to totally BTFO the cheaters. but they aren't serious about it, mattscott's first action towards cheaters was to UNBAN THEIR ACCOUNTS THEY WERE CAUGHT CHEATING ON. the reason behind this was, there was a handful of silver players who got false-positived. instead of just unbanning those obviously legit players, he decided to let cheaters destroy the entire game for years. apb is a joke.

the reason matchmaking sucks in apb is because barely anyone plays it, because its over run with cheaters. all the good players don't play because they just get opposed vs cheaters, total waste of time. the only people who play are silvers, dethreaters and cheaters. any good apb player quit years ago by now. find someone who will ban cheaters and your matchmaking is fixed. if you never ban the cheaters the matchmaking will always be horrible.

the most fun in apb was when you got p5/n5 just as you finished the mission, and then you can go straight to the enemy contact and try to farm as many ppl you can before dying. or camp rooftops, or drive around trying to survive. so yeah i understand that 100%. p5/n5 is one of the unique features of the game, that makes it more than just team vs team and actually makes the district feel alive.

1 hour per month? woah. that is crazy to expect that much workload from mattscott. he is a busy man after all. perhaps he should employ more SPCT so that it looks like anything is happening for apb, and the SPCT's job could be to larp as if they are of any significance to the game and community. oh wait thats what they already do/are

the solution to shitty teammates in every game ever, is to make your own group or join a clan that has some sort of standards. there isn't any way to enforce morals in a video game, any attempt to do so just ruins the game.

the dry meta is a result of several factors. like the car gameplay meta... which is cancer. that will require more fixes like you should NOT be able to exit your vehicle at top speed and be full hp with ur gun out immediately to TTK some kid. there has to be a compromise somewhere there. but car surfer in particular i think is just complete cringe aside from using it to reach cool roof spots.

as the undisputed greatest apb player of all time, and highest iq apb player (200+), i have to give my brief comments about the roadmap PHASING/MATCHMAKING: there are no positives to this, it will only make districts MORE dead because ppl sit in social waiting for missions. may aswell rebrand to fortnite: reloaded and have them parachute into the district. MULTI-REGION: there are no positives to this, APB is a shooter game and as such is completely unplayable beyond your local servers. any gamer who is 1% the gamer i am knows this. playing with over 100 ping is completely unfair and a waste of time, it knocks you down from gold to silver essentially. the only place this could possibly make any sense at all is social district because you aren't fighting there, but who cares about that really. ANTI-GRIEFING/STREAMER PRIVILEGES: there are no positives to this, it will be abused to harass players and make mods powertrip and streamers feel entitled. a complete waste of what little resources you think you have. instead you could be banning cheaters, but instead you are going after some kid who is driving a dumptruck and having alot of fun doing so, because some loser cried that he rammed him. TEAMKILLING/TROLLING "FIX": there are no positives about it, teamkilling is part of APB. go play hello kitty online if you cant handle dying in video games. there are plenty of reasons to teamkill someone and if you remove the ability it doesn't prevent griefing at all. just because poundofflesh gets trolled in fightclub doesnt mean you have to remove an essential part of the game that is teamkilling. you will TOTALLY DESTROY the balance of many weapons like weapons with large spread (shaw556), weapons with AOE dmg (grenade/rockets), anything that can run you over, if you remove teamkilling the game will make zero sense and enable the most ridiculous playstyles imaginable. same goes for cars or whatever the 'ghosting' idea is, completely deranged idea must have come from the SPCT/cheater defenders or mattscott himself. XBOX/PLAYSTATION: buy a pc TL:DR what an absolute joke. it seems they will only make APB EVEN WORSE. how is that even possible. Merged. well yeah APB has zero devs. they have some wanna-be devs who like to pretend they are devs, but they aren't capable of doing anything to the game. you could have a random apb player develop apb better than these ppl, because we atleast know how the game works.

there isn't any dev to make new gun or balance it but i would say 45 is best pistol in general. fbw is sometimes better because more ammo per clip.
