To be fair, back when the game had a stable playerbase you would be hardpressed to get into at least one of the fight clubs. We're working our way back up the population ladder. Having extra districts would have the same issue as extra fight clubs if we were only talking about today's population, how often does waterfront have issues with getting population? Even if we did get extra districts/fight club locations and they had limits on how many we could have, only real solution is to have a rotation. Only real solution to keep things fresh and still give people what they want. Keeping people around is far better than pushing people away because their favorite content is straight up gone. -

That was their original purpose aswell. From: https://apbreloaded.gamersfirst.com/2011/09/entering-open-beta-home-stretch-part-i.html The idea is to give you the chance to jump in to a violent 10 v 10 (or similar) death-match or territory capture in a very small isolated portion of a district (which - by the way - also solves some 32-bit and low spec machine issues by being much smaller than the standard districts) for intense short-burst action. Think of it as a PuG clan fight, but with open ended groups/teams on each side and without all the Clan Mechanics. While this provides insta-match content for players to experience, it also helps us try out new map changes and game-types which if successful, will be added to the main game maps as well. PS. A lot of those location ideas would barely fit much more than 4 players per team. -

Since FC is just smaller parts of the district maps right now, it would be easier to fix than the mission districts as a whole which have the same problems on a larger scale. Adding extra locations doesn't fix the problem and would make gameplay just as problematic as it is already. Why side step the problem when you can fix it and expand on it. -

I dont think the information that was given after the initial edit was poorly handled. It was pretty clear already. People just dont want another Battle Royale mode over what we have already. Or not doing something with open conflict first since that is pretty much unused. -
A quick and easy free flowing casual mode is suitable for any game. Every game needs a casual mode where people can go in and just play their game at its core without worrying about wait times or "tactics" or locations and just frag it out. Besides, why would people want to go to another game when they like APB over other games? As a player with over 85% of their time in FC, i would definitely be playing the game less if FC wasn't around at all. I can agree that deathmatch style modes are becoming a rarity nowdays. Even though FC should be casual free for all chaos style mode it still needs a restructure, it needs expansion. Just as much as the districts themselves need mission restructures and expansions. Spawn locations and map design need to be improved most of all but that can be said for the whole game. Asylum should be re purposed because its far to big for any kind structure to spawns or locations of the current mission objectives it plays out. Most of the time the only difference between Fight Club and Districts is that its in one location with more people. Most people who have said they dont want them dont even play Fight Club and dont understand what makes fight club flight club. Fight Club has just as much potential as districts, it just needs some love. Its right in the name. "Fight Club" Maybe if the server performance was improved we'd see more people playing the game in general AND fight club.

Mouse Acceleration/Dampening Fix

I have seen a number of games do exactly this without even an option and it is so so horrible it actually becomes a reason to not play the game because of the jarring offsetbe in and out of marksman modes. -

Thats the reason i usually use opacity on the "shadow" so that the skin colour naturally comes through instead of a artificial colour on top. Less work on either end. -

Delayed announcement regarding GMs/Mods
UubeNubeh DaWog replied to Lixil's topic in General Discussion Archive
I mean yeah its obvious its happening but the rationale behind not wanting for it would still be there for some. Getting people on board instead by highlighting their interests involved with this instead of strongmaning them into "this is just happenning" is going to reduce friction either way. Less friction, less riots, less people to moderate. -

The community has two options: 1: Dont let LO hire community GM's. Which means any new information/plans/programs/sales/contests/ or anything else that involves the community will be either delayed or reduced because of the constant moderation needed in this community. If they could do it themselves they wouldn't even consider asking the community. 2: Let LO hire community GM's. Which means they can focus on giving us information/plans/programs/sales/contests/roadmaps as soon as possible. Despite the fact that Little Orbit has given us more information/communication/transparency and a physical appearance than ever before, a lot of people seem to want to go back to G1 levels of communication. LO want to do their job and having people do the small things lets them actually get to things that are important for the community and the game. -
Starting off with something used often but normally difficult to perfect.

The clips are what they are because of the style of video i was going for. I have longer clips but they will be for another video. It was hard to keep the consistency up between clips because of the lack of specific footage i had, which is why i changed songs so often. However i found out that Ive missed a lot of clips somehow. So I'm going to revisit the video and hopefully make the whole thing flow a lot better.
