  1. Placebo. Equip time only refers to the time it takes to switch between the weapons you're holding. 3 point sling only reduces the time it takes to switch from your secondary to primary.
  2. Everyone has already acknowledged these problems a long time ago, however they have no bearing on the argument you're not trying to make. Even most of the stigma's the game has acquired are only due to public ignorance, people who don't even look into what they think is a problem. You havent made any valid arguments for headshots. With not even relevant examples between how "headshots" and "no headshots" will be different (or the same) other than vague explanations of how gameplay will improve just because things have changed.   3. Spawns, matchmaking and gun balance are not the core of the game, they need a rework but they arent a massive undertaking individually because of that. The game wont change that drastically when reworking those, they require specific tuning because it only takes small issues for them to get out of hand. But we're getting off topic all over the place, the topic is headshots. Hit reg issues has nothing to do with headshots either way. Everyone has been taking the argument seriously, assuming their are no other factors (such as hit reg issues) that affect what you're arguing. You point out missions go fast and missions go slow, can you point out why that is? There are reasons to why missions can speed up or slow down. And you point out adding headshots to apb wouldnt make it a subpar csgo knockoff, why? Even in your last response to me, there was no clear answer to the questions i asked. How would adding headshots benefit players and give players chances to make new plays? Again, we're assuming the game works 100% perfectly. Give us examples. Im not sure if you know, but you know that cars driving the way they do is because they're server sided? Ever seen cars in GTA lag out? Basically cars being server side stops that issue, well its supposed to but the servers haven't exactly been running well for a long time as it is. Anyway besides that, last time i checked they couldn't go faster because it would cause issues which i think? can be fixed with the engine upgrade. Also, linking those comments of people who disliked the game doesnt really prove anything, a few people who have a negative opinion of the game doesnt translate into "everyone", especially when most dont understand latency or not understanding how many times they are actually being hit. ( Being hit by a PMG and killed in 3 shots has never happened) Im pretty sure this is the game you want, based on all the little bits of gameplay information. Ive never seen a game where "covering fire" and "leap frogging" has actually worked outside of a "E3 Gameplay trailer". I dont really want this, most people here wouldnt want it either im pretty sure.

  7. Smarter = Slower? Why move fast when you die in 1-3 bullets? Cant aim while running.
  8. Makes it a little harder to aim, which is nice imo. All it was, was a simple delay between running and shooting. That got removed and the iceskating began.

  10. Yeah and they got busted because people were looking for them because riot games, blizzard and co have much more sophisticated systems to protect and monitor their networks. Did it stop them from doing it though? No. So whats to stop someone ddosing APB? LO isnt Blizzard/Sony/Riot and unless they are actually looking for the people ddosing anyone could ddos the game at any time without a care.
  11. Yea. That is true. But there is no way that they are getting DOS'ed on the daily. One that's dangerous and a liability for the people running the DOS. Two that's unethical and a load of shit. Never have I ever heard of a DOS that persists for a month. A heap of shit that's what that is. Dangerous Liability and unethical actions never stopped the people who ddosed blizzard, psn AND riot games at once. Because of non cheaters. What did the person (who was as far as anyone knows) wasn't currently cheating do? Play the game. Yeah cheaters are damaging the game.
  15. 1: Because there are requirements to being a GM. Not to play the game. 2: An ex banned player could win an event. It would also still exclude a large portion of the player base who have no ability to win events to play with the CM. 3: You cant please everyone so pleasing the loud minority is just going to make things stale because we cant have anything nice thanks to people who feel the need to be 100% emotionally involved.
  16. Very small. The only real issue is that a person with past ban history got to play with the CM. Because people believe that once you've broken the rules you get no second chances and have no rights at an opportunity to be like another player ever again. Wow the human race is so great. /s

  18. Except mattscott knew exactly what to do to trigger a ban. Even if it was that easy to stumble into why werent there more people banned? Also if it was that easy you could just change the parameter settings to make it harder to stumble across. And then if if it was that easy to know the problem why was it so hard to give back peoples items or verify bans?
  19. Empty or only 1/20 of the map was being used. Only closest spawn points between enf and crim. Pretty sure cash works the same way in either fight club, if you get more kills you get more money. There was a short time where FC in general payed out significantly but that was a bug and fixed quickly.
