  1. It's fine if it doesn't work on some weapons, heavy barrel isn't used much on any weapon (it used to be used on NTEC a lot before its damage got nerfed slightly) but that's about it unless you heavy barrel 3 a DMR for stun fun. I think it would be interesting if improved rifling effected shotguns by closing the shotgun spread slightly, but decreasing damage a little bit (specifically for shotguns). That way the range and accuracy is there, but the damage is less, though it would have to be after the shotgun changes go through to see how it effects them. The RoF change is interesting, i'd have to get on OTW to test it fully but i feel that ~21% for 7m is a bit much. ~10-15% may bring it in line better, making ntec ~.77 rather than ~.84 (if my estimates are right) for close range, and it still would cause the ttk to go up a little bit more at range due to normal ttk increasing. At ~21% on any rifle it would be horrible to use it in cqc where a lot of combat happens, and most cqc weapons with a ttk more than ~.8 aren't used much and don't handle very well in that niche already. (looking at you Norse Series and Strife). If there's 3 levels of it 5/10/15% may be a better option if it feels too harsh. It's nice to see it's getting a rework though
  2. I agree, ~10% max would be fine i'd think, "maybe" 15% but still feels like pushing it. That way it's not like OCA CJ3 levels but its still a bit slower.
  3. CSG should be good up to 12? ish meters? 8 for sure 2 shot, maybe 10 not 18. Strife should be roughly 15m-20m though for its 1.25 ttk which is roughly 3 shots. Shotguns could use some more tweaks but i hope its good.
  4. it is indeed a bad one, you ever crouch behind cover and get sniped because it doesnt fully cover you where your head is? Now imagine that with increased damage for headshots.
  5. The only "cheaters" i've seen of late would have only been wallhacking. I don't think i've seen an aimbot.
  6. I wouldn't be opposed to tweaking these two mods, but I feel that there are bigger balance issues than IR3 and 3PS3. and i would agree.
  7. Each contact offers different missions i heard, however I often feel that it's more or less based on the day. I've gotten days where i get the same mission 5x out of 8 missions, and then other times where its fewer. I do believe contact pledging does effect it though.

  9. The only Norse gun I like is the Hel, due to the increased accuracy, slap on EM3 and 3ps3 and I do well with it. ISBRB IRS is eh, id have to play with it again but i wasn't happy about it.
  10. Sadly, its very noticable if you full auto since the SMG rework. No, the point would be to rebalance IR3 and 3PS3 to have more noticable downsides, considering that IR3's doesn't even have too much of a downside in comparison to other mods and their downsides, and 3ps3 has 0 downside at all.
  11. It used to be, and the ARMAS pages still list it as 30m, hence the easy confusion. However, if you check the database it's clearly 40m now. This makes the Fang (only available via ARMAS) have 47m effective range, which is fucking absurd. i'd have to test it then ingame.
  12. Add an out of bounds location at the top of this roof in Asylum, currently the only way up is to destroy a pallet, get glitched into/onto it, and then jump onto the roof. People put items up here during item hold missions in asylum, and its insane trying to get it due to the time restrictions on some of the missions, as well as difficulty killing the person or two on the top that camp on the item they took up there while waiting for the pallet to respawn to get the item. I am standing on the roof in question, I ended up getting called in as VIP when i got up there for the pics. The location I believe is South of the asylum. Sadly the location was never fixed with the first out of bounds changes, hopefully it gets one.   13. Like you said, using it can give people a massive advantage over players who don't use it. Which is why they aren't much allowed or are a grey are, and playing with the perm crosshairs is an advantage. It's one thing if LO does implement them perm one day, until then vanilla is the way to go. Quite frankly i would love custom crosshair options even if they aren't perm visible. But I also know that I don't need to have a perm visible crosshair to aim at an enemy, and it barely changes much for me when i do play. But like I said, if you need the crutch i can't stop you. I've already done that btw, its called high mag scope It's a great way to learn your center screen and get better.
  14. I thought it was still 30m? odd, but okay. Still would explain why the IR varient is stupid strong, and is why i bought it because it feels better than an act and RSA.
  15. headshots would require a complete rebalance for APB, instant grenade kills at one point existed only for conc grenades and was removed for good reason. APB is in a fine balanced state with only a few changes being necessary. Most F2P weapons are balanced and the only really sub par ones would be several Armas ones which are getting rebalanced slightly. At one point I thought headshots would be great! But then you ever get behind cover and get shot over it with no body parts showing because your hitbox is still over it? Yeah, that would count as a headshot. So no, i can't agree with headshots in APB, not only due to balancing issues, but also due to the lack of cover height EVERYWHERE to protect your character.
  16. barely noticable with IR but definitely with CJ, buuut the ttk decrease is somewhat worth it sometimes.

People use hS3 on ntec, cqc spraydowns point blank are not happening out of mm, and in MM having that "oca level bloom" isn't going to prevent it from not being versatile for that purpose in cqc either. If you havn't noticed, two of the primary mods for NTEC is Hunting sight 3 and Improved Rifling 3, if they made the weapon worse and less versatile, people wouldn't be using it, especially the pro players who have played for years. The moment HB took 1 shot extra to kill with on ntec, everyone stopped using it, if IR3 had any noticable impact on the weapon, it would be dropped as well. But IR3 only effects maximum bloom, and as such, at least 70-90% of the time the mods downside it has little to no effect on gameplay. If it increased bloom per shot, that would be a different issue.
  18. Difference looks minimal in that picture, however let's be honest. Noone uses full auto with ntec unless its ~0-15m, otherwise its tap and burst fire, and IR3 has NO downside as it doesn't actually effect the weapon in a way that it would matter to have a downside for it. Ex. EM3- bigger mag, slower reload Mobility Sling- faster movement in mm, slower equip CJ3- Increases bloom substantially, increases ROF Each has a negative that also effects the weapon in a big way, currently IR3 and 3ps3 have no such downsides, as IR3 isn't meant for cqc and it doesn't effect cqc in any substantial way (especially when used on the weapons it's used on), and 3ps3 is just a dumb straight up buff with no downsides at all.
  19. It helps if you "need" it, since it requires less coordination to aim faster onto an enemy, but atm it's really just another way to say "i'm bad at Vanilla APB and need a crutch".
  20. You mean make golds be golds by removing lowyields from the game? Couldn't be a better idea.
  21. My mic works whether i have an X or not for voip.... I think it's an ingame setting to change the voip sounds. I'm unsure about needing a group, but its likely to help stop social voip spam
