Thats affective this week, which just started today. So things will be slower then they have been.

Well im focusing on the server ms changing in this. Thats the main area of concern and the root of the issues.

Yea about the lag but this is about the servers being unstable. Unstable servers cause lag and a whole bunch of other issues besides lag. Agreed. Were better then that.

My issue perf wise is server lagg. My 6yr old gaming rig handles anything thats avail on max stats thanks to a solid processor and afew months ago I upgraded from my GTX770 to a GTX1050Ti so graphics im fine on for another 6yrs. As for your question yes I would continue to change the oil and anything else untill I purchased said new car and had the keys in my hand for it. Untill that time the old bus needs to be maintained.

This again? Im not sure how many times ppl r guna bring it up but APB is NOT P2W. You can get a variation of 99% of weapons from contacts once ur max rank and hat only requires in came currency. ARMAS allows u the chance to buy perm vers of those same weapons with no change to weapon stats at all so how is the game P2W? If it was P2W ARMAS guns would have better stats then those u can get from contacts.

I admit its abit slow and LO should consider hiring afew more staff members for support but they are handling yrs of issues at once.

A completely open district wont work in APB as ppl with just go hide and camp all game. It needs to be like the orig anarchy event where they had the chaos dist which was a sectioned off area of WF. Yea ppl camped but it wasnt overly huge and with afew tweaks those campers would have to fight.

This is what happens when a butt hurt kiddy decides they want revenge for getting banned. The only thing that will stop them is to trace em and take legal action.

Ive been monitoring the server perf today and from what the fps counter is telling me its that the servers have become highly unstable. The server ms keeps bouncing around between 32-35ms and a single ms change in a server causes alot of mayhem as ppl are complaining about. It goes to 34 then quickly drops to 32. When it gets higher it causes everyone to lagg and the sudden ms drop to 32 causes players to suddenly move to places where they didnt want to go and when it does the opposite everyone experiences the rubber band effect where they bounce back to a prev pos. LO, @MattScott @Lixil need to drop everything and stabilize the servers IMMEDIATELY before things get even worse or the servers crash for an extended time which will cause alot of complaining, and a big time consuming cleanup. This is also causing the latency of everyone to make big hits bouncing up and down 20-30ms which causes additional issues. My ms today ranged from as low as 27ms all the way to as high as 149ms and im normally in the 15-30ms range. I speak for Jericho here so anyone playing on Citadel and Hahn who would like to chime in go ahead.

New game hype, everyone wants to check it out. Give it 6 months to see where the pop settles down at. As for this kind of game mode in APB it doesnt fit the kind of game APB is and the background around it. APB is similar to GTA and moving the game play style completely changes the game, story and how you earn things.

Better fps would make the game more playable no? As for the servers is as I said elsewhere. New ones are required as G1 downgraded them to cheaper ones as the yrs went on so they could save a buck for their pockets. Normally the more data thats used the slower things r no? I would think less data would help the servers alittle. Wether its a waste or not something needs to be done to help things untill an engine upgrade is ready. Its like the oil in ur car after 3,000 miles it needs to be changed cause its dirty and it starts doing harm. Ignoring that means eventually ull burn up all the oil and the engine will sieze up. Thats after all the dirty oil slowly damages the pistons. The APB servers and data were left alone for so long that there are big issues that cant be fixed that simply. Look at how unstable the servers are now, something has to be done with what we currently have otherwise its all going to crash for an extended amount of time.

Ppl expect something before day 1 and the fact of the matter is that that just dont happen, its going to be months before new content is made just like it will be for a new engine. Ppl need to be patient and in the meantime we will need events to mix things up, keep ppl around and generate revenue for LO. If you want this kind of game go play PUBG. APB is not that kind of game.

With the problems plaguing the server since battle eye there might not be a choice.

Nothin prior with them actually looking at the ticket asking whats up. Just a merge.

That event isnt untill oct so for now dont worry about it theres months to go still

Yes while the implementation of battle eye has left quite afew issues LO also inherited alot of issues from G1 like problematic servers. The servers struggled to handle APBs small playerbase before LO took over and the playerbase returned, at this point in time I think LO needs to invest in new servers that can handle APB and handle 50v50 districts like lack in the day. Maby the lagg issue will resolve itself that way.

And yes in the end a new engine is required but untill that time you need to do what u can to keep the old beat up engine running well enough to last

The playerbase has returned and unless an event of some sort is released between now and when the engine update is ready ppl will leave again and well be right back where we were afew months ago. A change up is needed every now and then. I agree it was 10x better then the remake. Afew tweaks to ensure things dont get stale (camping) and limited edition items and a mission or 2 and wed be enjoying orself for awhile

Well I did say limited edition stuff for this run only. It doesnt have to be just limited to armas.

Im aware I played in the orig. As I stated above edits could be made but by no means should the remake be used. Well theres a playerbase now, events gota be run to keep ppl around. I woulda thought a vet would have figured that out

Pretty much thats it. Back then it was much better then the remake was. Im saying bring back the orig with chaos dist and the steam achievements that came with.
