The thing they want to implement to hopefully resolve those issues is only possible in unreal engine 3.5 and above, so we'll need to wait until that's done I'd assume I dont see what threat values has to do with a newer engine

Thanks for fixing the hitreg matt maby this will bring more ppl to play however what about matchmaking and threat? These 2 core game items are still extremely broken and need priority attention so the skill gap within threats isnt so great, dethreating is wiped out and lesser skilled players dont face top tier players constantly. Any idea yet what this might mean for shotguns? It means any balancing done will have to be redone as it was all based off of broken hitreg that only worked consistently for bots. And im not talking about just shottie balancing here I mean every weapon in the game rebalanced.

Im not silver. I stopped caring about the broken threats back in 2016 and I no longer bother trying in the main dist. I just do as I please and use what I want. If i were to go back to trying id have gold tho. Fie rate is fine its the range. Pellets spread and these really arent which is why its so broken What I find funny is how people are picking the Shredder to complain about. It's like they don't worry about a JG 2-shotting them when like 3 pellets hit from each shell. Come on... At point blank shotties should 2 shot you, thats their metta and if they cant do that they are ineffective and we all should use smgs..... oh wait we did that for yrs after the PMG buff.

Not a bad idea. not getting dupes and not getting 100 3 day leases of owned weapons would be nice. Overwatch has this in place where dupes turn into currency that can be used later for things you want and or need.

The threat system is broken as hell. Thats above all. Next you have the fact that the pop in APB isnt very high, theres not enough ppl to make full gold districts, not enough to make full silver and not enough to make full bronze if everyone stayed where they were supposed to. Ppl want to play so they go to fuller districts to get games faster. Hence why u see full bronze and silver dist all the time. Unless LO combines Jericho, Citadel and Hahn into one global server ull never see the pop to support all these diff threat servers. Dethreating came about due to threat segregation back in 2013-2014 and gold servers had very low pop so ppl dethreated to get into silver dist. The segregation backfired so horribly G1 had to remove it but even with that dethreating continued. Its still an issue now but since then G1 broke the threat system which makes ur threat not a true reflection of ur skill capabilities. In order to fix the dethreating issue LO needs to fix the threat system to better reflect ur skill and to make dethreating reportable in game and make it so that way if u go gold in a bronze dist u will be auto kicked and have to join silver. Unless this is done the issue will never be fixed.

Everything just crashed, including login servers. I was on Jericho when this happened @MattScott @Lixil Edit: was just able to login again but about 75% of Jerichos population is gone.

Untill the threat system is fixed where it better reflects your skill and there is an auto kick for golds this wont end. If you want this sooner request it from LO otherwise they are focusing on the engine upgrade before any core changes.

What were saying is that LO needs to make it so the win rate is better. There will still be money made regardless but as it stands now its not worth the money when you spend hundreds and get nothing of value. If the rate is worth it LO will find more ppl buying the boxes hence they will make the same amount if not more as well as make the community happy.

you do get things of value though. i've got lots through jmbs Srsly? 3 day guns is value? 15 days from a tiggs jmb is value? Any timed gun is value when you own them perm? The answer is no. Not even getting the legendary is valuable when you have to spend 100+, 200+ before you get one.

What if the guaranteed prize wasn't tradeable? If its not tradeable its not tradeable, at least you own the weapon and can use it.
