  1. I agree with electing a community voice. Since the game is PVP and PVE have a representative for both. So three, Matt and PVP and PVE community elected guests. I wouldn't be against this, but the idea is simply to cover questions concerning the community as a whole. Not PVP and PVE segregation, the only level headed PVEers I've seen as of late would be Crood, Sang, and Luka from Hazmat. And a breakdown in communication leads to lose of time for said Q&A. Most questions related to one another, be sure to ask anyways so it can be covered.
  2. Implying the previous staff listened when told their changes were bad or more testing was needed as every project thus far was released prematurely But we'll see at the Q&A @dracio A productive list, some overlap others but +1
  3. PayPal works fine as did mastercard
  4. Probably because they were used to nothing getting responded to with the last staff, we have APB peeps here all the time lol
  5. I don't believe there is a limit of 99y, just stops displaying beyond 9/99/99/99 A solid option until they maybe consider a new client would be allowing you to store it via an NPC which will tell you the amount of chips it has in "storage" until then.
  6. Eh they're doing better than the last team on information, but the last team left them a lot of bullshoot to fix.
  7. Well ya if you considered regen I'd probably say something like dropping 1 stamina from dex but pulling regen from both Coord/Dex. Still unsure what to do with willpower, it's just in a bad place. Maybe if it didn't cost 5 AP per I could understand it, but 155 AP to unlock a "capstone" of sorts seems a bit steep before investing into that mutation itself. I do it personally, but it definitely isn't 100% of the time. Regeneration has been an issue with the addition of AP weapons, was more of a semi-counter to current regeneration rates. Another option would simply be raising it to 10 seconds rather than 6 with no change besides maybe Health Regeneration also being effected by 50% while moving like Gamma/Stamina. Probably something that's possible... or at least the level tier option at the very least. Saves are in a pretty ugly spot since they aren't consistent across the board. And if that was the case that would give melee a disgusting advantage, well besides the 7m range.
  8. I was rounding up for dramatic effect haha, but indeed. But .3 regen "could" but nice, but if we consider it at 50/50 rather than 75/25 we lead to a stat which is still subpar and requires more investment. This would mean to reach the 156 tiers of mutations you'd need 82 into it's main stat and willpower. That's pretty expensive all things considered. So passively regeneration would increase by 19.5 which is pretty insane actually. Even at .2 regen it would be 13 (not as insane but still basically half a consume), which would only benefit non-mutation and non-crafters more than anything else. It's a nice idea tho, but at least with stamina under perception and gamma under charisma it would simply be a minor resource boost. I'd even go as far is say drop dexterity to 2 stamina so it's 2/2/2 to lessen the increase. I don't disagree on the fact regen working 100% (for gamma and stamina) while moving could be "OP" in a sense. Currently you'd need two ticks while moving to get your full regeneration, however in it's current state you can actually gain a second "full" tick if you time that tick properly. Basically it would nerf over-sustain from being allowed to be stationary while also removing a odd mechanic which only hits 2/3rd's of regeneration types. I don't disagree with the save suggestion, but does that mean saves stay in or simply that weaker effects would be immune/50%/25%/0% resisted based on tier? Since in most cases the two most common save resistance types is reflex/mind (body somewhat when using VFC) As for melee, I'd have to test to confirm it again, however to my knowledge all weapons deal 80% of their damage to arms/legs, 100% to torso, and 130% to headshots.
  9. To kinda explain these.. Nerfs regen which currently is high but also kinda removes the idea that standing still during ticks (harder for anyone who lags) has a huge advantage. Makes all damage sources more consistconsistet as well as application of effects. The change to perception is to boost it's overall viability as a stat choice. But due to the stamina increase charisma also got boosted so all stats have a total of 7 between each resource type. Willpower of course is to remove a pointless stat in the current state of the game which has been for almost a decade. My weapon thread covers the range nerf suggestion which will keep pistols from getting out of line compared to melee after it loses it's intense range.
  10. Depends on how it works... I mean I guess fish could substitute meat in cooking recipes? Maybe have a chance at chips or items that sell to NPCs for a decent amount.
  11. Did nobody else notice this is an APB issue?... Wrong section and poor attitude.
  12. Open a ticket through the support page https://support.gamersfirst.com/hc/en-us
  13. Stats Perception given 2 for every point invested, reflex save removed, and given .1 stamina regeneration per point. Charisma raised to 3 points of gamma for every point invested (from 2) Willpower can no longer effect mutations besides Alpha Mutation. Can no longer spend AP into this stat Combat related Bonus range (5) to all weapons and effects (5m) has been removed. See this thread under melee Saves removed completely as a mechanic as well as from stat investment. They simply do not have the same resists checks, which makes some abilities easier to resist than others. They either need to be addressed across the board or removed. "These never worked properly and would take too much time to fix them" - Skathi Regeneration cycle now increased to 10 seconds, from 6 seconds. Regeneration reduction while moving has been removed. Can now see regeneration totals gear menu (Know it's possible but players should have this information open to them) While "Resting" you will recieve 50% extra incoming damage, rather than 25%. 10% (+/-) roll on damage removed to provide more consistency in damage output. Damage dealt to arms are increased to 100% from 80%, legs still reduce damage by 20% (80%)
  14. I've heard of issues with players from China in other games, could be blocked via the government there, Shadowbane had the same issue and thus they played from VPNs. Either that or there's a lot of fraud issues in China where they buy G1C and basically sell it off or otherwise.
  15. Thanks for info. Any idea how up to date it is? Character data is currently almost 4 years old >_>
  16. Already reported the cause, well the invisible door is one that I don't think can be fixed...
  17. It works, just lacks the testing NPCs at this time, same launcher and all.
  18. First we need to cover the biggest factor for players FPS and a lot of "exploit" claims... Video.ini This file is pretty easy to edit under your "Settings" folder in the game's main directory. Find DISTANCE= Change values to DISTANCE=100,25,25,25,25 To make this easy to understand, the first controls player/NPC distance while the rest are tents/farms/grass/trees/etc which will greatly boost FPS This also makes objects vanish which allows you to shoot through them, until the client is forced to make these 100% there will always be QQ. Possible ways to increase FPS without losing much quallity We'll start with each tab under options... Graphics Resolution : Lowering your resolution can increase FPS, however in full screen this allows you to get a bigger "hit" area as it does not scale properly when going to lower resolution... thus players using 640x480 or 800x600 will have insanely high accuracy without actually being any good at aiming. "Run in a Window" : Windowed mode will generally lower FPS, but I used it for many years simply because alt-tabbing in/out of game causes a lot of glitches... only do this if you prefer it. V-sync : Honestly keep this off unless you don't have any issues while it's on. Shadows : Off Post FX and Advanced : Off, but they do look nice if you can handle the FPS hit. Anti-Alias : 2x (yes this can increase FPS, you need to test it tho, I gain 50-150 FPS) Anistrophy : 2x (Same as AA) Disable Actor LOD : Do not enable this DO NOT TOUCH "X Distance" RANGES BESIDES IN THE INI FILE (unless you want to increase them) Terrian & Texture Quality :Personal choice, I run it on high. Texture Distance : Personal choice, I run it on high. Audio No real effect here, but VoiP hasn't worked in almost a decade so ignore it. On lower end computers disabling sounds can help improve performance, but on newer ones this should not be an issue. Interface Again not much here, but there are some key features to use... NPC Chat and Chat bubbles will lower FPS, not by much but it is a factor. Not to mention your chat window having NPC chat can also lower FPS. Notifications can also cause some hiccups, but not that bad... disable as needed. Showing FPS/Bandwidth is a good way to find out if you might be experiencing issues... high FPS is good and less % loss is better. Hiding the crosshair with a UI can help improve the ability to use pistols/rifles at 195 rather than 23 above weapon skill cap. "Move Hidden Windows" is amazing and you should adjust them to personal preference, this can help your PVP experience 100 fold by getting them into a way you can manage properly in combat. This is also where you can add a second hotbar, remember you can increase their size as well. General Here are a few things you can adjust, but mostly mouse sensitivity. Always set "Y" 1 sensitivity higher than "X", this will make it feel sooooo much smoother. Turn off the profanity filter if you don't mind seeing us swear in chat. Target's Marker/Health : Can't see any difference here... I'll see if I can find out later. Player/NPC Names : I recommend you keep these on. NPC Glow : Off Alienware LightFX : Off ALWAYS CLEAR YOUR BROWSER CACHE AT LEAST ONCE AFTER INSTALLING (and if you use the in-game browser) Floating Damage : Can help FPS but honestly floating damage helps know who is/isn't focused Delince X : Personal choice Auto-First Person : Personal choice Auto-Holster on Mount : I actually forgot if this helps mounting speed... will test to confirm. Vehicle Debres : Off In-World Gear pop-ups : Leave it on Keymap Please be sure to adjust your hotkeys to personal preference, I recommend making sure your "walk" hotkey is nowhere near any of your combat hotkeys.
  19. Added a minor note under power and precision to help understand scaling a little.
  20. Nano and TK work fine with pistols... If you know how. But I admit a keybind specifically for an equipped mutation would be nice. Equip, use BM/filtration, and turn it off as it is used. Repeat as needed. Edit : Not ththat you're missing much with anywhere from a 30-60 (%) DPS advantage. Still waiting to see if pistols ever follow suit when it comes to "more damage = longer delay"
  21. Was going to say...I have some weapons to tweak for funzies even.
  22. Exactly, would've rather done that over waiting hours in rep grind groups.
  23. Interesting points but simply hostile. Let alone claiming zerg when the only time you got "zerged" was by choice after peeps left. So that is neither here nor there. But I actually expected that claim from JD seeing as numbers have never gone above 12 in said "zerg". Especially considering we usually only have to bring more when someone else does since everyone is hyped for "any" PVP. As for the comment about council, I've actually played a few dozen games with this mechanic and it keep greifers in line. Notice how I only covered faction and not factionless, but definitely understand you were itching for one of these responses as it's been awhile. That being said, yes there have been instances of abude which would be handled via staff rather than the players simply griefing one another through said system. The argument behind "lore" would also cover restrictions to specific skills/mutations based on faction. But thus why friendly fire is covered here. Armor/trinket/weapons, yes some value is lost vis "cloning" buy obviously others would be added (at least trinket wise) in their place. And would give an option to individuals to earn these items through a process that wasn't just PVP or Dome... Let alone Outpost which is a pretty decent shit-show. Well ya, faction grinding is painful and truthfully has very little options available. But you'd think by now there would be something like a "raid" against the enemy faction gain a decent chunk of rep that is repeatable.
