  1. If you didn't require willpower you'd see people going into 180s+ because you don't need to waste 115 AP just to unlock the 192 cap of abilities present. And while it'll cost more for ranks such as 135/138, it'll cost less overall to hit 156/162/168/174/180/etc. I don't disagree on the comment of small female issues, but that's an easy fix by allowing male toons to go smaller on the slider. As for your comments on Dome : You go 6, minimum, as it'll still need you 1% AU's worth of AP (13, most capping at 170) Dodge scaling currently is too high from a PVP standpoint, thus doesn't effect PVE unless you're already scaling with it. And until rounds 6+ most Dome bosses lack much of any precision/power. I run Dome on my PVP healer, easily, 1-9 and if my tank feels like it 10. Even other PVPers and PVE'ers alike dump into dodge because you don't need all 1960 AP to "tank" after even slapping on 120-150 melee and 132 dodge to make round 10 a joke. The only threat in Dome is Skathi. You shouldn't be taking longer than 1 minute even on no power AR/Lights ("High power Tank" as if having 2-9 shots of damage extra per reload) If you wanna talk about a DPS increase in PVE, run a 50%+ precision build, at least then you're still saving AP while dealing 4-16 shots (Shotgun/Sniper to Lights) worth of damage extra.
  2. Staunch Wounds becoming self-only solves longer PVP engagements, patch being adjusted to replaced "other" healing solves the loss. If weapon DPS was boosted across the board it would solve it to some degree without needing to touch Staunch Wounds If you aren't finishing Dome 1-9 within 20 minutes you're doing it wrong, none of the above changes make any round take 90 minutes. With Willpower's removal you'd scale better into mutations (especially empathic/nano/enhancement) meaning easier access to higher tier heals. AU's stance adjustment would allow users to cover more resist types easier for further protection. Precision's buff would result in more critical hits leading to faster TTK Dodge's minor nerf also effects most of the harder Dome bosses leading to TTK. EA is indeed useless besides PVP and very few instance of PVE (Dash mostly) That doesn't mean it needs too many buffs in PVP. Confused on how many of these effect how I play. My HPS goes down from Staunch nerf Crafting being 100% intelligence scaling doesn't effect me at all, I don't "craft" beyond what my First Aid reaches (156) Perc/Coord change actually effects all builds but would actually allow dual/tri weapon specs to be less costly, same with higher tier Staunch. And overall lead to less confusion on character builds. I don't use Dirty Tricks but know I can dispel 1-3 with Preservation (which it shouldn't) meaning I will need to use Renew OR Shake It Off I spend AP into dodge so the above nerf to dodge effects me so I won't net 41% dodge passive with suit/serum/aura with minimal investment or 71% with "heavy" investment It's actually more so to buff other sources which are not even used currently but also blocks out the ability to reach 100% dodge passive. Charge shots in their current state have been complained about in PVP/PVE alike, the extra restriction to weapon requirement (Bull's Eye only) is the only one I actually benefit from directly I don't use Primal and everyone (with a brain) has precision. I don't use social, simply gave it another aura that nothing else covers at this time. Empathic's nerf is again related to TTK issues in PVP and more-so to using Benevolence while moving, which is an unintended feature. The longer cast time will restrict movement a bit more even for those who have server delay. This directly nerfs all PVPers, myself included. Enhancement was simply to provide a light counter to Illumination's damage modifier for future issues with Heavy Weapons, Grenades, and Mutations. This would indeed effect some builds I "might" run but I have been running Illumination since relaunch. Nano-Manipulation is about the other thing here that benefits me, also nerfs me as I'll now have to wait 3 seconds for use Filtration. Because unlike most I can hit that in a 30+ man furball. Patho Transmission is actually a counter to my playstyle, just stop Primal isn't used on any of my "mains", just felt it was a subpar mutation that needed some love. Suppression is another mutation that needed some love, since illumination's changes it has no real place and needed a buff. (And PVEers never use it) Telekinesis needed some love as 60s was a fairly long nerf to it's original power. The DoT blows besides revive canceling and the nuke is something only PVPers tend to use. PVE is dog-water easy, the requirements to be 'good' in PVP are simple. First Aid : 156 or 186 Empathic : 117+ Armor Use : 13% preferred resistance scaling Armor : Enough, with armor use, to hit around 40% before you feel "too" squishy. Weapon : Prefered a 150 DPS but completely possible with something around 110 DPS listed without "struggle". (AKA you can run 1-55 with a level 20 weapon without effort) Any "PVP" build destroys PVE. Why? PVP builds are better, you can always go with the highest DPS weapon because PVE is legit shooting fish in a barrel. There is no "PVE" build that does anything better then a "PVP" build.
  3. Gonna keep it short as possible Stats Remove Willpower : Mutations will scale 100% off main stat IE Empathic will be 100% charisma rather than 75% Charisma and 25% Willpower Make tradeskill ONLY scale off intelligence (saves AP for crafters) Merge Coordination and Perception All Perception scaling skills/mutations will be adjusted to coordination. Gives better synergy with dual weapon specs (especially between range/melee, more aura choices, more mutation/skill choices) Body/Mind/Reflex Saves : Remove them as they haven't been functionally kept up to date for over a decade. Armor Use Combine both stances Only keep slowing debuff - Gives a solid defensive stance with a fair drawback for PVE. Dirty Tricks Fix Rank(s) 1-3 Kneecap to not dispel from Preservation (and check for other ranks that might also have this issue, believe it's only those three) Dodge Reduce passive scaling to 25% rather than 36% (spendable cap), needs a minor nerf to keep power/precision viable. (A 71% dodge player AKA 387 dodge currently will then be 49%) 184 can be from suit/buffs/aura alone with minimal investment, builds go 6-148 generally which gets to 332 max. Meaning you only need 55 more dodge (Augmentation, Social, and more dodge possible) Add scaling dodge on each rank of Duck & Weave (20/40/60/80/100) Escape Artist Add cooldown reduction scaling of 15s reduction for each additional rank of Save Yourself (150/135/110/95 second cooldown) but make duration 20 seconds for all ranks. First Aid Make Staunch Wounds self only, increase cooldown to 10 seconds. See Patch under alpha mutations, will greatly improve flow of teamfights not to sit at a stalemate. If weapon DPS is improved for subpar weapons, might not be needed as that will also improve the TTK of most fights on average. Group Tactics Remove stamina regeneration on Offensive Coordination Rifle Make Bull's Eye a short term damage buff that does no dispel after attacking, making it increase damage for total duration while active regardless of hit/miss. Restrict activation to require a rifle in-hand and be dispelled if rifle is holstered. Power Increase scaling to 6.3% (spendable cap) with remaining .7% being tied to weapons (spendable cap) Precision Remove 7% base critical chance It's strange that we have any when we have a skill that increases it, would further improve the differences in builds as many consider skipping it when you have 9.185% of the possible 25% most builds run. Move 7% to split between precision and weapon skill (26.1 & 2.9) Precise Hit adjusted to a short term damage buff that does no dispel after attacking, making it increase damage for total duration while active regardless of hit/miss. No weapon restrictions Social Remove Inconspicuous and replace with group aura granting 1/2/3/4/5/7 (%) movement speed and 2/4/6/8/10/15 Health Regeneration Gives Social secondary aura. Alpha Mutation Now scales with Endurance Remove Gird/Bolster Decrease Disrupt cooldown by 2.5 second per rank increase (15/12.5/10/7.5 second cooldown) and cost removed completely (It's a PVE stun...) Patch cooldown decreased to 10, can only heal others, and heal for 30/60/90/120 based on rank costing stamina now instead of gamma (Cost to reflect ratio of Staunch Wounds) Example of cost : 9/18/27/36 Empathic Increase benevolence cooldown to 8 seconds and cast time to 1.5 seconds. Can stay 1 second cast time if we can fix the fact you can move with Benevolence. Enhancement Will no longer scale off of Charisma and instead scale off Dexterity Gives Rifle/Pistol builds a viable aura on their primary stat Resilience given a 5/5/5/10/10/10/15/15 (%) damage mitigation to Heavy Weapons, Grenades, and Mutations. Nano-manipulation Filtration needs to either no longer bypass reload when used or made single target, instant cast, and have a 8 second cooldown. Also helps on dual wield builds for functionality purposes. Revitalise health regeneration increased by 50% on all ranks Patho-transmission Thwarted Intention duration increased to 10 seconds and cooldown decreased to 45 seconds Sapping Sickness cooldown reduced to 60 seconds Wracking Pains made into a targeted AoE (Hits target and AoE's around the target, similar to Sapping Sickness) Primal Beast Might adjusted to a short term damage buff that does no dispel after attacking, making it increase damage for total duration while active regardless of hit/miss. No weapon restrictions Add HPr to Primal Vigor to promote it's durability (4/6/8/10/12/14/16/18/20 Rampage : Power/Precision increased to match any power/precision changes (% wise at level 55) Suppression Increase total drain on all abilities by 50% Cooldown of all abilitys reduced to 45 Sap Stamina now costs stamina instead of gamma Telekinesis Bend Metal cooldown reduced to 45 seconds but made simply single target rather than aimed Helps remove reload skipping but also improves viability with dual wield. Same as filtration, if we cannot fix reload skipping I'd recommend hard to make it similar to overwhelmed.
  4. At that point you might as well just add every cash shop item as that's what that'll do. I'd rather see a buff to key drop chance if anything.
  5. My vote is on inventory/vault slots, commander's crafting kit, and nanite cleansers in that order specifically. Everything else can wait.
  6. I mean we can craft dye packs... so I'm slightly against it besides more common ones. Key Ring?.... If you mean box keys then heeeeeeelll no my dude GORE Baits for sure tho, wanna slap Lilly around
  7. I'll take a shot as I haven't checked this in awhile. Where is there a "mix"? Let alone claiming the defensive suit is fine when it is easily the top tier armor for overall returns. Defense scales with every attacker, offense and healing cannot effect more than one target at a time minus Nano which has cooldown. Support doesn't actually effect "healing" if effects resource management, giving you more sustain for any/all forms of damage/healing. I don't disagree with the resistance tier needing to be reduced to Stage 3 (which was basically Dreadnaught Tier 3, same primary but stronger secondary/tertiary). And you completely missed the mark here and spin it in a strange manner. Support helm gets a much needed nerf Defensive suit sees no real boost as it's easily the strongest suit Offensive and Support suit get buffed to further the likelyhood of use. Offensive suit getting stamina regen only boosts "healing" if Staunch is used. It would more than likely benefit more offensive play with GT, DT, weapon skills, and otherwise which use stamina. Most healing is reflected through gamma which is not being suggested to Offensive. Support suit is only boosted by the amount debuffed on the Support helm. Again no healing boost, it's a sustain boost. Defense and Offense helm gain a much needed boost as well. Support helm loses regen which pushes back sustain on builds. Even with the stamina regeneration on a Offensive Suit of 20, this means every minute a Offensive Suit gains 125 (mobile) to 250 (stationary) stamina every minute. Due to the support helm's regeneration loss, which currently every player uses, they also lose 25 (mobile) to 50 (stationary) off their support helm. One could easily suggest toning down the stamina regen to say 15 to balance it out more. Even if you consider the Offensive Helm's regeneration suggestion. Even with the 125 to 250 stamina you get the following. (Over the course of an entire minute) One to three casts of "Staunch Wounds 6" for a total of 211 to 633 health. One to three casts of "Staunch Wounds 7" for a total of 256 to 768 health. Now if you say went "The stamina regeneration is too high, maybe lower it to 15 and helm to 5" New stamina regeneration is now 100 mobile and 200 stationary One to two casts of Staunch Wounds 6 for a total of 211 to 422 One of Staunch Wounds 7 for a total of 256 to 512. At no point does that compare to 120 dodge, 60 health, and 35 health regeneration between both defense suit/helm options. This translates to 22% dodge passive (almost a quarter off enemy critical and pen), 350 health every minute, and of course 60 health which you can easily allocate towards regeneration as an off-set on your augmentation weapon(s). Which all of these stats translate to straight EHP. Health regen is automatic, this will tick regardless of the situation and unlike healing does not have a % debuff. Health regeneration is also "free" sustain, no cost to the user. Dodge is absolutely massive in PVP if targeted by enemies with power or precision (tho obviously useless vs no power/precision builds with multiple armor cuts) Health directly translates to EHP, while only 60 that's still extra health you wouldn't have on the other two suits. The proc is easily superior as if you are being targeted in a group fight chances are you will have an armor cut, thus another buffer to offset incoming damage. So ya I can see tweaking the above regeneration to make the number more fair New regneration mobile : Offensive Suit/Helm only wins by 1 health New regeneration stationary : Full GT offensive wins by 22 every minute (If you stand still EVERY tick EVERY 6 seconds) Which the dodge passive alone will probably give the defensive suit the win for the critical hits and penetration it will block within the minute anyways) And yes even more of a "wall" of text. We'll factor in dodge vs 7% penetration & 23% critical build as it's not uncommon (141/141 with 150 GT aura unlocks prior to GT Suit/Helm) Def Suit/Helm (120) with 54 dodge & GT dodge aura : 41% dodge passive (224) 7% pen = 4% 23% crit = 13% If I need to explain beyond that then I can understand why you used to claim I had "100%" retoration heals Edit : Added 5 more regen to Defense Helm & Suit. This translates to another 60 health per minute giving it a clear lead even with the above complaint. (400 health every minute vs the previous suggestion of 350 vs the current 250)
  8. Ya max HPr can do some silly things. I am not sure about solo'ing blood dog on HPr.... the rest I can see tho.
  9. I can sit at 60% with low tier cali (rank 6 at 138 unlock) and paste w/o a defensive stance like ablate/dreadnaught/etc. Tho truth be told that's because GT is a level 60 tier armor, so that's way easier to do. 60% is very easy with Stage 3/Cali 7/Green paste. Not really a specific build of any kind, it's standard to sit at 55%+ at end-game depending on the build as long as paste is involved. Even with hitting resist cap, you still benefit from the 40 health, 25 HPr every 6 seconds (250 health every minute), and 80 dodge which is massive.
  10. Worked fine the last few times i logged in. The def suit getting a % reduction ontop of the flat armor would be fairly busted, I'd say if it traded it off maybe. But only by maybe 5% considering how strong the armor is off base stats alone before proc. And since in most engagements in PVP you'll definitely be armor cut, you'll find the use of the 600 flat armor while also clearly benefiting from the secondary/tertiary as currently you cannot hit secondary/tertiary 60% cap... maybe secondary with social. I only say this because with the defensive suit you are countering all incoming damage, this has zero cap on it's effectiveness. This is unlike the offensive suit which will only hit one target, minus the situation where someone uses Heavy Weapons but also is the only weapon type in-game w/o augmentation, is specifically a group-spec weapon, and easily countered even in groups until it's in a defensive position. The support suit is the second most used due to it's incredible sustain, I won't deny it's subpar vs a defense suit with creeper serum but it's more the player if they go down "easy".
  11. A bit late considering a decent number of players already abused methods to get reward points. Understandable tho as it lead to a lot of complaints.
  12. If it was the 45 node, then it's honey... if it's the 75 node then you get tainted berries.
  13. They proc in PVP and PVE so I'm confused if you mean. They have a 20% chance to proc, when taking damage (DoT included, which is how I self-proc on the sniper troll), and then go on cooldown. Def Suit already does a % reduction, if you aren't at armor cap. (Mobs don't debuff armor sadly... basic PVE 4tl) Offensive Suit already also increases damage on proc, as long as you take damage (as stated above). (Which the above suggestion would be a passive modifier. Support suit... well I'm sure "x number back per a tick"... it's already 15 health a tick so unsure what you mean there as it procs to your entire team/raid. Procs work in PVE, PVP, Bugsports, and Dome without issue. And the helms would at least give more options than my sniper troll setup as the support helm is easily "Best in Slot".
  14. Defensive Suit 80 Dodge 40 health 30 Regeneration - Boosted by 5 Proc : 60 dodge and 600/800/100 (pri/sec/ter) AP saved just off health/dodge : 130 Passive is massive at 14.69% while 11% on Proc. (25% gain which is very strong but only makes a huge difference vs targets with higher power/precision) 2x Consume Boost (resist off procand health regen) but also stronger than it's serum (lizard dog which is 54 dodge, 48 health, and 12 health regeneration) Easily most powerful proc in-game as it effects anyone attacking the wearer. This is easily the best suit in-game in most cases, as it will net it's returns regardless of number of attackers. Which is fine, what needs to be considered is methods to promote further use of less armors. Offensive Suit 95 Power 25 Precision Proc : 160 Power, 70 Precision, and 10% boost to Mutation/Grenade/Heavy Weapon (Direct) damage. AP saved off power/precision : 120 Only 1.76 times more powerful than the power modifier on a Serum passively, Precision is 1 less than Serum. Subjectively second most powerful suit minus lack of regeneration over Support Suit. Proc net gain is 4.95% pen and 7% critical Passive is also 2.9% pen and 2.5% critical Example vs the above proc total of 25% (dodge) that means it would be reduced to 5.8875% as an example) Tied for second with the support suit only because it's benefits only effect the targets it can attack (one at a time) but are more consistent as unlike resources you don't need to wait to apply damage. These should handle it... Increase precision by 10 to improve AP difference between the suit above and this one. Add stamina regeneration of 15 Consider adding +10% weapon damage increase (Melee/Pistol/Rifle but also includes Heavy Weapons, Grenades, and Mutation direct damage) Is a tad high, but definitely improves the suit's function. Support Suit 26 Gamma and Stamina Regeneration No AP saved but equal to 2x consumes or slightly stronger than Average Creeper Serum (22 gamma and 18 stamina regeneration) Proc : 15 health per second for 10 seconds Easily the worst proc, no real defensive or offensive benefits. Equal to Vital Osmosis 6 as an HoT but roughly the same cooldown. So somewhat useful in that catagory. Tied with offensive suit due to it's regeneration modifiers which allow it further sustain to possibly net it potential DPS or HPS increase. But because regeneration means you can usually stay in fights longer, it's more commonly used than the offensive suit. Please skip to the next section to understand what I suggest Increase regeneration to 31/31 Gamma and Stamina (Pulling 5 from helm which is listed below) Add stamina/gamma restoration of 5 per second to the HoT. Suit Procs Put all suit procs on same cooldown timers (Which is possible) Support Helm 10 Gamma and Stamina Regeneration Easily the best helm in-game, it's an extra consume in overall power. Regeneration should come down to 5/5 while boosting maximum Gamma/Stamina by say 20? Thus it still nets it's place as a resource spammer's dream. Defensive Helm 15 Health 25 Dodge Compared to overall regen, this is quite the joke... Health to 20 Dodge could easily be bumped to 40 Health regeneration could've been added at 15 : Translates to 90 more health a minute. Yes the stats are a bit higher for health/dodge than how it translates on other helms but dodge is a passive which reduces the effectiveness of another... it needs to be a tad more to be effective. Offensive Helm 35 Power 15 Precision Same boat as the helm above, 1% armor penetration and 1.5% critical chance?... I mean ya I get it adds up with the suit but this needs to stand out a whole lot more. Raise precision to 20 Add 5 stamina regeneration Add 5% damage modifier like the suit - Probably a bit over the top... but 5 extra damage for every 100 isn't really that crazy. Add +10 to all weapon skills (Not Heavy Weapons) - Will help attack posture builds.
  15. A reoccurring theme happens in every single fight, healing, which is not surprising considering it's a staple of any MMORPG. Which truth be told has been an issue for awhile, well that and weapon DPS not being adjusted to a healthy level to keep it competitive. Staunch Wounds currently is the only large direct heal which by itself is a fun little ability, but I believe this is our problem. Cannot be punished like Benevolence nor Vital Osmosis as it is completely mobile. Doesn't follow it's 5 meter range it is given (if a target runs out of the 5m range, it will still apply unlike any other heal listed) Uses stamina which makes it the most readily available resource in most situations (as unless you're spamming armor cuts, charge shots, etc it generally quite full) Only real "downside" is if you forget to pack yourself with bandages. Now I purpose the following Make self-cast only : Makes very little sense that we can "bandage" an ally on the move anyways. Increase health regeneration effect by 50% (for the following change below) This means Staunch 6 would provide a 15 HPr (150 health a minute from 100) and Staunch Wounds 7 18 (180 health a minute from 120 health a minute) This will slightly offset the loss of "Patch" below. Patch changes Increase cast time to 2 seconds Reduce cooldown to 6 seconds Only allow the ability to be casted on others Reduce range to 5 meters like Staunch Change resource cost from Gamma to Stamina Does not require bandages (before anyone asks) Adjust healing to roughly 50% of what Staunch Wounds currently heals (Patch 4 compared to Staunch 7 would be 128) Cost to cast should reflect 50% of what Staunch Wounds currently scales at (Patch 4 costing 39 stamina) This should effectively drop HPS by 16 per ally on the field. In most cases 128 HPS (1 full group). If Patch stays the same tho this would offset 32 HPS per ally or 256 HPS in a group of 8. Which makes a huge difference in overall fight time. Meaning the above would stop a group from deleting a shotgun's DPS or a light pistol DPS. More peeling, less healing. To explain the above statement, the act of peeling is forcing the enemy to either retreat off their target via means of CC/Damage/Body-blocking/healing/etc. Still strongly recommend my other thread paired with this one to resolve fight times in 1v1, small scale, and large scale fighting.
  16. I mean you simply don't allow marketplace items to be stacked, solved.
  17. I honestly hope LO learned to not have anyone connected to FE's general playerbase as a GM after the last time. If not... RIP.
  18. Well "projectiles" in most cases aren't actual projectiles, the only few would be Grenades/Launchers. Everything else is hit scan.
  19. I mean you can already do this around corners, simply saying to remove the "you are not facing". There is still a requirement of having clear LoS. Edit : As for the behind... Ya no real solution for that.
  20. A workaround currently is to add timestamps to your chat log by RMB (right click) your chat tab to enable it. Either way +1.
  21. Melee actually has a 6-7 meter range as everything has 5 meter bonus range which for some reason increases by 1 when moving. The other reason this happens is due to serverside->clientside communication not updating the target's location properly. Thus giving "You are not facing" or "Target is out of range" while clearly in range. A quick fix to that would be to remove the 5m bonus range to everything and give melee it's set range. That and maybe disable the "need to be facing to hit a target" since you can't hit a target outside of your hit area, the only real downside is you will sometimes hit someone behind you when in third person, but it's better than losing an attack tbh. Edit : Pistol is favored in PVP due to it's vast DPS advantage, a solid example is a heavy pistol can land only 52% of it's total hits but still out damage a shotgun. Which the advantage gets lower and lower as you go up in tiers in DPS. 2h is if a heavy pistol lands 67% of their hits. One handed melee (shards) is beaten if a heavy pistol lands 83.75% of their damage. Mind you this is all at range, and melee DPS is considering you're always able to attack. Rifle's advantage is simply range and positioning, it's 2h melee but weaker. Ya in groups it's a fantastic weapon, solo it's only going to matter going all-in and easily countered by 1 nano. One can of course argue that "Well in group fights X can insta-drop someone", but yes every weapon has that potential to insta-gib with enough attackers.
  22. Decided to post this thread because there's very little reason there's such a huge DPS discrepancy when comparing pistol/rifle/melee light->medium->heavy tiers. This isn't so much an issue with "pistols" as it is with other weapons for some reason not following the same % damage to % delay ratio (Well that and assault rifle isn't a fair comparison as it's 30 DPS lower than lights). Tho Rifles and Melee haven't seen much adjustment as in prior patches they fell into particular meta builds, or of course with old dodge weren't hurt as badly by previous mechanics. And due to the burst meta prior to 3.2 which kept Snipers, Shotguns, and 2h melee in the loop for the most part. This doesn't really excuse assault rifles (Which saw some love, not much) nor battle rifles (which are currently the single worst weapon in the game in terms of overall scaling) being as piss poor of weapon choices over simply going pistols. (30.16 to 69.846 DPS) Pistols (234.66 DPS max with 154 if both pistols land) Light Pistol vs Heavy Pistol : 71.5% (roughly) damage for 80% delay with 20% reload increase. Light Pistol vs Medium Pistol : 28.6% (roughly) damage for 40% delay with no reload increase. Both of the above values can be considered 2x damage scaling as they are dual wield weapons (143% and 57.2% if we wanted to get technical) Would put SMG and Sawed Off Shotguns but these need way to much work to be worth a damn. Rifles (204.5 DPS max with 90 per shot) Assault Rifle vs Battle Rifle : 31.12% damage for 75% delay Assault Rifle vs Sniper : Roughly 132.3% damage for 275% delay Assault Rifle vs Shotgun : 120% damage for 325% delay Melee (178.66 DPS max with 268 if both shards land) 1h (1.5) vs 2h (1.4) : Roughly -34% damage for .1 less delay? (A little under 7.1% delay) This is because it's two weapons vs one, the raw damage increase compared to one shard is 49.3% (roughly) To make this clear AP shards are ahead by 34% overall damage. 1h (1.1) vs 1h (1.5) : Roughly 27.7% damage for roughly 37% delay Obviously same as above with pistols, which is a bit of an overshot but 55.4% I would include Kukri but seeing as AFFA has superior DPS we can easily stop there. Pistols scale at a significantly higher rate in terms of damage/delay ratio, more-so heavies which get a .89% damage per 1% delay. (Rounding up to nearest tenth in most cases) Mediums get .75% per 1% delay Battle Rifles get .4149% per 1% delay (biggest yikes right here) Sniper Rifles get .48% per 1% delay Shotguns gets a .37% per 1% delay (about 22.9% below a sniper) 2h melee lose damage as shown above, there is no fast delay melee to compare (at 195) even if they're not exactly at a bad spot. But it should be considered if shotgun ever were considered to get a boost. 2h melee should always be superior to shotgun, period. But the idea a 2h melee is only 51.52% over 1 shard is a bit crazy. leading to the 1h melee get 1.3% per 1% delay Considering that Heavy Pistols have the DPS of 213.33 vs Light's 234.66 we're looking at a large discrepancy compared to other weapons for light->heavy tiers of DPS loss. That's a total of 21.33 DPS between light/heavy variants. Example shown above clearly show pistols aren't even remotely as penalized. This isn't really an issue, if other weapons had the same scaling. Assault Rifles should have considerably higher DPS, it's advantage of course is range so DPS can suffer a tad because of this. Battle Rifles should be on the same tier as Medium Pistols, following the same ruleset as above. Sniper rifles should be on the same tier as heavies, even considering it's range advantage (which should reach 120 as it's render distance) it should be at least in the 170+ DPS area. All weapons listed above should basically just get a damage/delay re-evaluation to compete obviously. Melee/Shotgun are touchy subjects due to their ease of aim. Even if you consider 1h melee has 134 base damage (178.66 DPS), it should be considered that if shotgun or 2h melee get boosted then 1h should come up enough to still have the lead 2h Melee and Shotgun could easily see delay reductions with reasonable damage increase considering their roles. How the DPS "tiers" should fall into place. Light Pistol : Obviously at the top due to it's low range, it needs to sit at the top as it always has. But AP lights should be considered to be boosted to 24 in a magazine rather than 16. (20 DPS increase) Range decreased to 30 meters, and yes the 20 DPS increase on lights is quite large but the gap needs to be bigger on light vs heavy tier. Assault Rifle : To bring it to current light DPS damage would need to come up to 105 per shot (AP variant vs current) or 110 if light magazine size is increased. This translates to 232.04 DPS (if lights stay at their current strength) to 243.09 DPS if lights got a larger magazine. DPS has to beat Medium Pistols. Medium Pistols : Range increase to 40m Battle Rifle : Range increase to 70m (+4 to current), damaging then scaling up based on how mediums currently scale (delay to damage ratio) Following the concept above a 195 battle rifle would need to jump to about 165 after augmentation translating to 211.05 DPS. Must beat heavy pistol in DPS, reduce AP Battle Rifle range to 70m. Heavy Pistol : Range increased to 50m 195 AP Shards : Touchy subject as it's one of the easier weapons, but should keep it's lead above 2h. Tho I'd rather see a higher DPS alternative such as AFFA blade or Kukri AP weapon variant. Sniper : Range increased to 120m and consider delay reduction to 1.2 which will greatly assist in giving it a proper threat level in PVP. It needs to be a threatening weapon beyond "slow reaction". A solid example would be 240 damage with 1.2 delay leaving other stats the same giving it 176.15 DPS. 2h Melee : Should always be above shotgun, period, by a decent sum. Bringing it to 230 would bring it to 164 DPS (Would give it's 23.3% lead like 164 variants during 45 cap) Shotgun : Should be considered to have it's delay reduced to 1.5 while DPS coming up at least to 130-140 range (215 would sit it at 132.31 DPS while 230 with the same delay would reach 141 DPS) TL:DR; DPS scaling Light Pistols (254 DPS) : Modifiers fine at +8 but should reflect more Light pistols throughout the leveling process. Assault Rifles (232 DPS) : Should gain +8 modifiers to reflect Light Pistols Medium Pistols (222 DPS) : Modifiers fine at +6 currently but should reflect more Medium pistols throughout the leveling process. Battle Rifles (211 DPS) : Modifiers should reflect Medium Pistol going no higher than +6 Heavy Pistols ( 200 DPS which should translate to 124 damage per shot, currently 213 DPS) : Modifiers fine at +4 but should reflect more Heavy pistols throughout the leveling process. Strongly recommend this falling behind 1h melee in DPS, reducing reload back to 2.5, and increasing delay to 1.2. (123 a shot) 1h Melee (190 which is +12 damage per shard) : Modifiers on weapons are fine Realistically we should be adding a lower delay weapon close to AFFA blades (1.2) or Kukri's (.9) so we can tone down these shards which currently scale like light weapons. AP AFFA : 115 (105 base, +10 augmentation) for 191 DPS AP Kukri : Something around 88? (80 base + 8 augmentation) for 195 DPS This would mean Shards new damage/DPS would probably not budge at 176 (120 + 12 augmentation damage with 1.5 delay) Sniper (176) : With changes suggested above 2h Melee (164) : +10 Melee on all 2h Shotgun (130-140) : Still bottom of the barrel : Add +10 Rifle skill onto Shotguns (Change +2 SIR/Ye Old to +10) Overall this would help push away from the longer fights, open more weapon choices, and even without any of the numbers provided here at the bottom at the very least show there is a huge discrepancy between weapon types as well as DPS scaling. Especially when considering melee and rifle, as their "high DPS" variants are extremely under-powered.
  23. Most bosses can infact be cleared solo, the few that can't can usually be handled by having 1-3 more players with you. There are a few instances where I couldn't warrant event doing as the rewards aren't worth it, usually these missions show a clear group icon. If it involves a master tier NPC it's best to ask for help as some are extremely broken for that level range to solo or duo. Not that it can't be done, but expect some to be unreasonable for that level tier.
  24. Just to cover what would be ideal in an NPC if they added it. Nanite Cleansers Pack Upgrade (Inventory slots) Wardrobe Unlock : All Commander's Crafting Kit Faction Shirts (All factions) Scavenger's Shirt (For them social alts) Sector/Barter/Utility/VIP Vault increases (G1C and Reward as they stack) 8/16 Deed to Storage Building (Increases maximum slots for mounts) Pristine Recombinant Injector DT/Faction Boosters Crafting/Harvesting/Salvaging Speed Booster Solo/Group XP booster (Lambda Clone/Team) Harvester Fuel Mounts (Subjective, not required, I just miss my badland rider...) GORE Enchancers Kennel (Max pet slot increase) Two Chupacabras Perfume (Faction Reset) As for what they costs, I don't really care what currency they put it under.
  25. Only complaint I have is that survival/deathwatch should be removed and then add a team deathmatch and "VIP" mode to replace survival.
