Not necessarily. I mean I have no one on my list but that is partly because i forget why someone is there and remove them. But there are a few people that would warrant an ignore to a degree or 10. Like MikeHell but i liked messing with him so no ignore. More on topic, APB will always have trash talk just because that is how the game is and there is no reason for people to not be toxic in game. BUT there is a line that is crossed a lot that should be dealt with and it seems is not dealt with by support so that is sad sauce.

Hopefully once the GM program is up and running, they can start reporting cheaters directly to LO staff. Staff is aware of several of them I know first hand. And so far they have decided not to do anything regarding them. I am kinda getting more and more regretful about having spent money on this since LO took over.

Sadly there are more cheating than I though there were. Kind of wondering why with some of the evidence available that they are not getting banned. Is LO really that worried about losing a cheater that they will continue to ignore evidence? yes yes the same reply of support ticket blah blah but we all know how that works out.

AL not only lets more people play the game, but also gives no advantage whatsoever. Then why use it? Same argument against custom crosshairs. Both are fine. Only people that bltch about either are bltches that want to bltch about everything. There are blatant cheaters streaming and making videos that are not getting banned by LO so why would anyone care about a damn dot.

that seems to be the way people around here like it though. Toxic to the very very end. There are some really good guys and gals around here but one bad apple spoils the whole damn bunch (to quote Axle Rose). APB was made to be a community game for fun. Not to drive people to the edge of sanity and then.. some little toxic wanker (anonymously) pushes a wee bit more. Perfectly natural to remember people that screwed you over. It helps not get screwed by those people again. Cheater will always be known as a cheater. Getting unbanned and allowed to play again does not remove that stigma. flaws isnt the best example here since afaik he admitted to cheating, but theres a lot of people who dont seem to be inclined to "forgive" anyone unbanned by orbit despite the repeated info that ff bans were pretty hit or miss Correct since he is a known cheater, not a suspected cheater nor a reformed cheater. Have not seen them make an apology post or anything so why should anyone forgive someone who is not willing to repent.

I think the community is more like a victim of domestic abuse with a bad case of PTSD from it. The fact that people are scared speaking out will making LO become like G1 was is pretty solid evidence of that.

Yes the majority do not use the forums, but what we have is a representation of the whole. What we have to hope does not happen is that LO becomes what we had before and it is a slippery slope not a cliff. Things start small and if those are not handled while small they become another Person banning everyone that says anything they dislike. We do not want that correct? One day it is banning everyone from your steam that says something you dislike, the next its the forums, then its in game. We must always be vigilant against the darkness! So say we all!

TL;DR Also people need to stop putting LO on an altar, it is just a company not your saviors. When things are done wrong the people will speak out. The CEO seemed to agree that there was an issue this time as well. Remember when a GM was screwing with a streamer awhile back? The community was adamant that it was a GM doing it but LO was repeatedly stating that it was lag and ddos, LO was wrong and after much more investigation figured that out. Power to the people not the elite few that brown nose the most, because that is what will actually kill this game AGAIN.

We need to wait for the changes to matchmaking before any though of changing this. If you take out the raiding in empty districts as an option things change a lot. The crim side does not need anymore buffs either way.

Hate to agree with ShadowXS but this is so much truth here.

Issue with who they grouped with the issue was grouping with a known cheater, who there is still proof of having cheated available. And then there was the whole boosted account and banning people from the stream who questioned their choice of groupmates. If you are a face for a company and are playing that companies game, you are still a face for that company and what you do represents that company. If they were just solo and played with whom ever the system teamed them with that would have been a very different story. Honestly Matt already covered most of this anyway, and it is the failed execution of the stream not the complaints that changed things.

And this is why officials have to be doubly careful with their word choices. As he answered it comes off as intending to ban everyone that there is proof out there of having cheated in the past. Even I feel that would be wrong at this point and i am pretty hard anti cheats.
