(For this unaware what Town of Salem is - well basically browser game which got problem with bots and cheating to point where devs by popular support made game pay to play from free to play model.)

Nothing other than firewall can't block APB Launcher. I would try to unlock port of APB from router admin panel and check if Windows didn't flagged it for some reason. Otherwise it might be borked APB Launcher.

This two are specialist contacts and taking that we litteraly have only ranks for 2 more contacts (look up picture below for reference - specialist contacts got 20 ranks... final contacts will probably have 25) - they gonna be added and then real leaders of factions gonna be most likely be another batch of contacts aka. Mayor Jane Derren and Luke Waskawi.

Some occasional closets and even more rare blatants are common. I mean if they already cheat, it's pretty guaranteed they no-life this game all day. Now we got one district per threat filled out at peak at Citadel so no matter what, you always land in district with cheater who happens to be online. I kinda understand frustration but note up names which you suspect are cheating and group them up to persons (you know since people use rerolls) - you will notice this list is somehow exclusive to certain individuals.

It's partially true. Especially since skill gap in APB is huge. Not impossible to jump but huge enough for someone to just assume that. Especially taking APB got pretty bizzare mechanics and server really does freaky shit. The biggest problem are returning cheaters in APB. And we got pretty big percentage of such out of all cheaters. It made me kinda paranoid to new "big" names in APB. Especially since one name is gone and second appear in place. In all honesty Kitty, you can't. Just try your best or try to avoid match with said guy. In worst case, gangbang on that guy always - while you can't overkill him, you can outshot him. And most of cheaters are garbage tactically.

If you read forum daily, you know enough that stuff are happening in-game... LO is tiny studio, don't expect miracles or few million investments. Everything is put step-by-step with moderate success or flop. I'm happy they do something. With G1 I didn't saw that for years before takeover.

And population is low because game litteraly don't have anything other to offer to them - it's most noticeable in holidays where population suddenly magically goes back up again. And answering your topic title. Yes G1 was as bad as it could get it. Good luck to even say ANYTHING to them. (Look at old forums, you will get idea.) LO just got inexperince in that kind of titles. Plus is naturally affected by populism because of this. Majority isn't always right.

Analysis: There is not much cheaters in APB but since APB population is so low, chances of meeting them is high enough to give illusion of community cheating. While 10 cheaters in game doesn't sound like much in comprasion of most nowadays games population, in case of APB that makes it pretty big percentage of population. Especially if they are pretty active since even at biggest times of activites - only one instance per district is full of players (per threat - minus usual gold and green) - so you are "forced" to land in match against them. Results: APB is more influenced by individual. Even one cheater is "too much". Therefore we never reach that perfect state of freedom from cheats. I expect controversy so dunno. Just wanted to speak my three cents.

Game menu was my first impression after finding out this game. I feel that current menu is downgrade but heard some voices opposite to mine.
